I hit the Coffee House on Cherry Street and was immediately greeted by a lineup of pies, cakes and muffins that made me salivate like I hadn't eaten in days. I behaved myself and ordered an iced Americano with an extra shot, a splash of cream, and a little sugar. It was smooth, not burnt or bitter. My friends grabbed a sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $15 and walked out full, happy, and bragging about how good everything was. The sandwiches, I'm told, were savory and judging by how silent they were while they devoured their turkey delights, I believed them. And now I have plans to return for my anniversary because I spotted a slice of German chocolate cake that could easily be shared with some to spare. I ate half of my sandwich right away (amazing) and then half a little later. The pastrami and saurkraut are so juicy that it did make an impact on the bottom piece of bread, BUT I still ate every bite and would still highly recommend.
