Gyro plate and gyro chicken plate
PJ C.

Guys, this place is incredible. This is the best gyro Tulsa has to offer and it is as good as the ones I had in NYC. One, it is in downtown next to the historic Mayo hotel so cool spot. Two, the prices are very reasonable!! Those two plates were $17, total! I was stuffed after finishing mine. Gyro Plate, get the gyro plate! The owner is very kind too. COVID concerns? Eh most of the ppl had their food to go but there was plenty of room to distance.

Gyro plate. Best downtown value for a healthy lunch.

Tabouli's has amazing food at great prices. They are one of the very few place in downtown that you can get a healthy meal. Meat, veggies, rice, pita, and taziki, all for under $8

Greek Lasagna, Cucumber salad and tabouli
Jim M.

Greeted with a smile. Got there before the crowds hit. Helpful staff; described menu items. All dinner same price $7.39 with two sides. Got the Greek Lasagna with cucumber salad and tabouli. Lasagna was meaty, with a top layer of soft noodle/potato with seasonings. Liked the cucumber salad, and tabouli was delicious. Older décor, but clean so was comfortable. Definitely worth a Lunch visit if you're in downtown Tulsa.

Some yummies they serve.

I had the chicken kabobs, tabouli, and baklava. The chicken was decent. The tabouli was fantastic. The baklava was outrageously good.

Great for lunch, fresh tasting healthy foods. Way better than Zorba's in my opinion.

Bodhi's Bowl, part of the Kitchen 66 Community in the Mother Road Market…read more The parking, the traffic and what seems to be non-stop construction at the corner of 11th and Lewis has kept me from enjoying the restaurant offerings at Kitchen 66. I set out today to eat Indian food somewhere in Tulsa; somehow that plan mutated and we wound up at Bodhi's Bowl instead. Glad we did! The dining environment experience in the Mother Road Market is not glamorous. However, the variety, quality, and uniqueness of the small food shops auditioning for your business, make up for the state fair, and noisy mall food court, like setting. At Bodhi's Bowl my wife quickly zeroed in on the Falafelopolis: crispy Falafels with sumac, combined with a salad of fresh ginger, spinach, Feta cheese, house-made cucumber Tzatziki, and sweet pickled red onion on herb lime rice. I went for the Red Bird Bangkok, another rice bowl/salad meal with abundant chunks of coconut curry chicken, Thai green beans, chopped cucumber, spinach sprinkled with chopped peanuts. The chicken and the rice were covered with a fantastic slightly spicy curry that took this meal over the top. The ingredients in these bowls were fresh and flavorful. Both meals were delicious! The only area for improvement at Bodhi's Bowl was the dude working the counter. He was not what I would consider a topnotch example of hospitality industry personnel.

I liked that they had many international inspired options and their menu is clear. The decor at their stall is fun. The staff were very helpful and quick. I had the Vegan Tikka Masala and the spice mix and sauce was very good. The falafel was fall apart soft but still crispy on the outside. I wished the lemon seasoning on the rice was mixed throughout and I'm not sure why half the bowl was just spinach.

Taziki's had daily specials & as for Wednesday, it was the Spanakopita Roll-Up. Grilled chicken, feta & blanched spinach inside of a grilled tortilla with a side of salsa. It also comes with chips (I had baked pita) & a side, which I picked the roasted potatoes. Even though I had a late lunch, the dish was the epitome of one. Holding me over until I got home with the 4 roll-ups. The salsa was good, my favorite kind - salsa taquera. Their baked pita would go well with hummus, I found out after the fact that they have Spicy Harissa Hummus that I'd like to try. The roasted potatoes were well seasoned with slightly crispy edges. You walk up to the front to place your order. The person who took my order was really nice. The food didn't take long. There's nowhere to leave your trash, they come pick it up for you. I plan on coming back, especially for the hummus.

It is definitely divey, but oh my gosh-the food is delicious and a great price. Can easily get full off of an $8-9 shawarma or kebab wrap. The plates are about $11-13 and great if you are more of a meats and rice kinda person. I suggest trying different types of kebab. The hummus is really authentic and creamy. It tastes like all the hummus I had in Palestine and Jordan. The family who owns and runs this place are sweet and keep it clean. If you've never had kofta kebab, try that first as a chicken/kofta kebab plate. I really am a huge fan of the folks running this hole in the wall, and the great food is such a treat!

The Reuben i got was fresh and hot. The meat was sliced thin and it was tender. They used Kraft thousand island dressing on it but didn't take away from the sandwich. I just wish I'd sprung for the extra meat. Not sure if $8 for sandwich only is the usual in the area but I dont think it was too much to pay. I dont have anything to compare. Service was fast as I was the only patron ordering and only one other customer was seated eating. I know a reuben is meant for rye but I wanted to change breads . I was informed that I couldn't and decided to order anyway. The place is in a small storefront with a few tables but it seems like it has its regulars. It was clean and pretty quiet besides the TV playing in the background.
