I saw a post on TikTok about this place so I wanted to give it a try! I just did a pickup order so I didn't experience much of the ambiance of the place. The workers were super friendly and helpful when I picked up my food though. It was actually super full inside the restaurant so I was thinking I made a good choice. Excellent service, super friendly folks who work there, and YUMMY food! I go sometimes for lunch and always have the sandwiches and a bottled Coke. Loooooove!! My friend Jim and i go here occasionally during the week for lunch, it's a nice walking distance from my work. Great concept, wonderful cause. Helping formerly incarcerated women out with employment is awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the Korean pulled prime rib sliders, which was served with chips and a pickle. To be honest, the meat was tough and stringy..not my favorite sandwich, and a bit pricey at just under $11 without a drink. The flavors, however, were good and I was super hungry so I cleaned my plate. My associates had the prime rib sandwich and soup combo (I think they got Turkey chili) and they raved about the prime rib sandwiches. My sandwich was a 3/5, but as everyone raved about their's, I'll go 4 overall. This is definitely worth another visit, and next time we'll go with one of the prime rib options. read more

I had only been to Take 2 A few times before. Once was for a Yelp event. A coworker suggested it and I was excited because I remembered it being good. I also keep forgetting that they are right down the block from my work. And I really need to remember that because I think their mission is fantastic. There were five of us that went and we had fast service and got our food pretty quickly. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The bread was nice and caramelized and there was a good ratio of cheese. The soup was okay but kind of bland. I would get it again but I'm interested in trying other dishes that they offer next time. We visited this place for the first time today and it's a nice lunch experience. Everyone is very nice and the chef even tells me where to pay my for street parking. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and vibrant. The foods are good and fresh. We ordered the Riggs Abney Prime Rib Au Jus and split it for 2. And we upgraded our sides to a Tabouli. The meat portion is decent and the French bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We really like the Tabouli, it's blended and seasoned better than a lot of the places in town. Definitely recommend you to give that a try. The chef takes the time to ask us about our food. We are just impressed with this place and it's mission. read more

Besides the amazing/admirable mission of Take 2, it was equally heartwarming to walk into the restaurant and see a line halfway across the restaurant filled with supportive Tulsans. It takes a bit to move through the line (maybe 15-20 minutes), so plan on a long lunch. I got the prime rib au jus with a side of potato salad and peanut butter cream pie. Everything was okay. Total for my lunch was $17. Wouldn't eat here often for that price, but it's not bad considering the program it's helping. read more

What a wonderful find on my walk in downtown Tulsa today! From the moment you step into the place, it's nothing but kindness and warmth from the entire staff. This is a little hidden gem with a great cause behind it. I literally think about their prime rib sandwich several times a week. Unfortunately I don't get enough time for lunch to get there, but I would eat that at least twice a week if I could The soups are also a favorite, and I love their BLT. They have a great variety on the menu, and the catering I have had from here has been excellent as well (they do boxed lunches but they also have special catering on request and that is some of the better catering I've had at events around town). This place has a great mission and great sandwiches. I've had both the sirloin au jus and the prime rib au jus - both were really good. The potato salad is good but seems a little bland and the potatoes tend to be undercooked. They put large chunks of pickles in the potato salad and I'm not a huge fan of that. That said, I come here for the sandwiches not the potato salad. It is a little pricey for lunch and I don't go here often but I am always satisfied when I do. read more

Woah, this is a gem in downtown! Thousands of people work within walking distance of this place and few probably know about it. It has a great mission. Women who have prior criminal histories can work here and gain experience and skills. (It's typically difficult for felons to get jobs.) And, they make excellent sandwiches. The best strategy is to pick something exotic off of the menu. The sandwiches have some fun twists - the last one I had was flavorful and on fluffy bread. It paired nicely with chips! The dining area is great - you'll see lots of people dining from the BOK Tower, Williams Center, and the buildings on Boston. The restaurant gives a second chance to women coming out of incarceration and helps them get back on their feet while involving them with their community and teaching them responsibility. Great lunch! I went with the sirloin au jus on French bread even though the prime rib gets all the rave and I can strongly recommend it. Nice cut of thin sliced steak and good French bread.
