This Friday I needed a fast lunch in Broken Arrow and I'd been meaning to try out Yummy Subs & More, so things kinda just fell into place. TLDR: Good food, decent prices. Arriving a little after 1pm I briefly eyeballed the menu until I saw they served spiedies. Full stop at that point. I'd been wanting to try this for quite some time and Yummy was the first place I'd seen them, so my mind was made up. My sandwich arrived at my table in decent time, hot and ready to go. I opted for the 8" version since I wasn't starving, and I'm glad I did. Even the smaller version was more than enough for lunch. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Piled onto the bun with all the lettuce and tomato, it was graced with a generous amount of hot, melted cheese. This was probably one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time. My only comment, and it's not a complaint, is it would have been a little bit better had they used dark meat. More flavor and a moister finished product, but that's just a personal preference on my part. Service was as good as you could expect from a walk up, order and go sit down environment. The place is clean, spacious and maybe a little on the noisy side because of acoustics, but not enough to be a distraction. Overall, a great sandwich. read more

You got to love a place that names a restaurant Yummy. And they are definitely yummy! The appearance of the place made it obvious that the owner cares more about the quality of food than whether or not you are aesthetically pleased by the environment. However the environment was exceptionally clean The bathroom was immaculate. Back to the food holy cow it was so good. I chose a large New York chicken speedy and just half of that sandwich settled my fat belly. But the taste of that sandwich told my fat belly to shut up and finish the freaking food. Absolutely fantastic delicious and the people there that were serving the food were extremely friendly and if it took a little while they let you know hey it's on its way. And those sometimes it might take a little while it's not fast food mind you that little 5 minute 10 minute wait that you may have to do will be so worth it. There was a kind gentleman working the window and we briefly chatted as he took my order. I chose the hot Italian sub, and am so glad I did! A couple of good examples are the chicken speedy and Philly cheesesteak!! None of the menu items claim to be "traditional " but rather they put their own spin on these classics and ya know, I like that a lot!!! Best gyros in town! Staff is always friendly and helpful and I know the food will be fresh. My favorite gyros and burgers in Tulsa county. The owner always goes out of his way to make it just like we like! They also made the Tzatziki in house. Better than anywhere! Plenty of room and comfy booths to eat in. The drive-thru is very convenient as well. A side note: during the recent snow/ice storm Yummy was the first restaurant to be completely clear and ice free. I am a big fan of Yummy. I love their food. Today was my first disappointment. There are two new items on the menu; Cabbage Rolls and a Winter Salad. The winter salad was a big bowl of spinach, slices of grilled zucchini, feta and too many croutons, in an attempt to make up for the mediocre salad's short comings. Fortunately, my wife ordered it with grilled chicken. The chicken and the good Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing made the salad decent. The cabbage rolls were large, filled with a good portion of unseasoned or lightly seasoned rice and ground beef. The topping is sad. It is a thick combination of what tastes like spaghetti sauce and chili sauce combined. The first bite was a surprise. I was expecting the combination of middle eastern/Mediterranean flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic etc. All absent. The hummus was disappointing also. It was a dry very lightly seasoned ball. Not smooth creamy flavorful. There was no pita served with the meal. This visit and only this visit ...3 stars. Two meals not recommended. Stick with the main menu and avoid these two new meals. I had planned to order Wednesday's special the chicken fried steak sandwich. I got distracted by the cabbage roll pictures. All of this makes me wonder.
