Hey... so I am pretty obsessed with Cava. It's not only because they have a lavender blueberry drink either. Their food is always super fresh and is my favourite fast food type place because I don't feel guilty having any of it. It is a healthy alternative. I know they get this a lot, but it is like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. My visit today was like it always there at the Brookside location- super pleasant, clean and efficient. Shout out to Tabitha for making me feel like a VIP. I recommend the build your own. I always do that, but today I decided to choose set bowl. The Hot Harissa Chicken and Avocado. I traded my hummus for Tzatziki, Crazy Feta and smashed eggplant. read more

Tried this...it's like a Mediterranean Qudoba. I had the spicy lamb meatballs and avacado bowl, my wife built her own bowl. My chef curated bowl was a bit of a disappointment...pictures showed 4 big, round meatballs... in a heaping bowl. I got two smashed pancakes and two half pancakes...four pieces of meat, no where near 4 full sized meatballs and MUCH smaller than represented and way to little protein for the $16 price tag. You can see from the pics...no heaping here... My wife's bowl included braised lamb...she had probably 2 times the protein I had. On the flip side the meats had good flavor, and the Maine Root soda was delicious. Staff was friendly and the store clean. Not the best value for your dollar, and definitely left feeling shorted. read more

Greek chipotle, but *way* better. This is absolutely my new favorite quick service meal. Food is extraordinary, healthy, and clean. I do appreciate all the plant based single use plastics as well. I would prefer silverware and no straws and such but if they must exist, at least it is biodegradable (except for the cups, they were regular plastic). Absolutely get the fruit juices, so so good. My *one* complaint was the chicken. So gross, nobody would eat it. Tasted like the frozen salty pre-grilled strips from the grocery. I always go vegetarian so it wasn't a problem for me, but yuck. read more

This was my first Mediterranean meal eating that I did not prepare myself. The servings were so large!!! It was off putting. They had the to go boxes out where everybody could touch them which is kind of gross and seems kind of anti infection rules. This spot helped out tons based on a phase I'm going through right now with my eating habits (I'm really trying to step my fruit & veggie intake up). With multiple types of Bowls to choose from, I went with the Grains Bowl. There were so many options that I felt like the only thing I left off was the kitchen sink. I ended up getting for my Bowl *takes a deep breath*: 1/2 black lentils, 1/2 saffron basmati rice, fiery broccoli, red pepper hummus, falafel, fire roasted corn, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine lettuce, crumbled feta cheese, salt-brined pickles with tahini caesar dressing & pita on the side. Full of flavor, still light & refreshing. I wanted another bowl of it. All I kept thinking on what to get next. You can order a Pita if you're not trying to go the Bowl route. With the Bowls, there's just so many directions you can go. Makes it easier for me to come back & have different options for each visit. read more

There is some parking and street parking available. They were busy when I arrived but the wait to place my order wasn't too long. The team was friendly. It reminded me of chipotle for Mediterranean food as far of how you order and how they put together your order. I was able to easily modify for dairy and gluten free options because of their labeling of ingredients. The bowl was great with good flavor, I tried the greens with saffron rice, harissa sauce, red pepper hummus, harissa honey chicken with hot Harissa vinaigrette. It was yummy. The seasonal drink was pretty good as well. The only thing taking away was it was a bit dirty and stuff like forks weren't stocked but I think that is more a reflection of how busy they were than anything else. AVOID this shop!!! I was excited for my second time eating at Cava. This location on Brookside has Terrible service! The person 'helping' me would hardly speak loud enough for us to hear and must have been having a bad-bad day. They seemed irritated from the moment we walked in. We weren't loud or obnoxious. We just waited our turn, ordered politely and patiently. They even dropped my side of dressing on the floor, right in front of me, put it into my bag and was irritated that I asked for a new one. The other employees were in the back and not helping this person with the line and just looked out on the growing number of people. Sorry for the long review, but this was a BAD experience! I'd like to save anyone thinking of going to this location the trouble. All I can think is it's gotta be terrible management making these people so unhappy. read more

A good place for a meal that isn't too heavy but with plenty of food. Their salads have many ingredients available and are very customizable. They also have a nice list of chef selection salads and pitas that have their choice of ingredients to make your ordering easy. Service was good and quick. The place was clean. New location. I've eaten there twice within 3 days. Friday 3/31 the food was EXCELLENT! Fresh, flavorful, everything I could ask for. Sunday I returned. Arugula appeared and tasted as if it was leftover from Friday. Once again I chose the harissa chicken. Fantastic on Friday. Not flavorful and dried out on Sunday. Tasted like leftover grilled chicken. Love the fountain drink choices. I will return, but will probably steer clear of weekends. And neither time did staff tell me about rewards program when using the Cava app. read more

Ordered online and selected the King' Pointe location but arrived there only to find it switched to the Brookside location somehow. Not a huge deal, it's not too far out of the way. Got my food and got home only to find that both bowls were ordered were VERY wrong. Will not go to this location again. read more
