What a wonderful find! We had dinner here last Friday and enjoyed it so much that we came back for lunch today. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious--fresh, authentic, and full of incredible flavor. Every dish was seasoned perfectly, and you can tell great care goes into the food. The Turkish coffee is outstanding--rich, strong, and incredibly smooth. It's the perfect way to finish your meal. If you're looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with amazing flavors and excellent quality, I highly recommend this Turkish market and restaurant. We'll definitely be back! read more

Unparalleled mediterranean restaurant in Tulsa! I'm not as well-versed with Turkish food, but I am confident in discerning absolutely delicious food. Tucked away in a market, the food and service are quick, while the food is prepared with the utmost care. The presentation was beautiful and clean-cut. The pickled vegetables were tangy and bright, wonderfully complimenting the grilled kebabs. Along with the price and amount of food, this place is a 5/5. Sharing one plate, my friend and I were beyond satisfied! I urge everyone to try this restaurant! read more

Foody - #1 Adana Kebab Platter - Halal Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

This right here is why I drive 1 hour to eat here: The ridiculously good baba ganoush and they're amazing hummus. Don't get me wrong I've eaten a plethora of other things here, but this always is my go-to! We've always been treated well, and have enjoyed their food. Sometimes it does take a bit, this is not fast food drive-thru McDonald's. They cook it to order so the wait is worth it. Run don't walk to foody's!! read more

delicious food, amazing coffee, excellent service, great music, beautiful wares, grocery full of quality goods. love this place

Just came here to bug some meat for a Persian dish (kale pache) and the guy working was so polite and friendly. I needed a smaller size of some of the meat so he weighed it out and gave a smaller portion. We will for sure be coming back here for all our middle eastern food needs. Very reasonable prices on the meat. read more

My partner wanted to do Mediterranean for dinner, so I hopped on over to Foody Turkish Grill to grab sides of greek salad, hummus and baba ganoush and oh my goodness it was heavenly! The best baba ganoush we've ever had in our life! The hummus (came with baked pita bread) was divine. The greek salad was a bit soggy (that was my bad for not asking for the dressing on the side) but was good. We didn't get dessert but their desserts looked delicious! The people were super friendly and helpful. Located at 61st and Mingo, same shopping center as Taco Bell. This place is definitely worth shopping at or eating at!! read more

I had been hearing many great things about Foody and decided to give them a try. VERY happy I did. The food was delicious!! I got chicken and lamb. It was hot, fresh, and flavorful! I was instantly greeted when walking in. The person who took my order was patient and gave suggestions after me asking. The entire establishment was spotless. Extremely clean and well taken care of. I will absolutely be a frequent customer. read more

I walked into Foody not expecting too much. I found a very clean store with a large selection of middle eastern foods including a butcher and spices as well as many varieties of things I have never seen or rarely ever see. If you are going to make a Mediterranean or middle eastern dish this would be a good place to put on your shopping list for ingredients. There are also many prepared options in the freezer case and other prepackaged options as well. The olive section alone was impressive in its variety. They offer a small selection of tools as well like a flat bread maker and other things associated with middle eastern society. The prices were reasonable and service professional. read more

I'm giving one star because there is no zero. If there were, that's exactly what you would deserve tonight because of the owner. I have been a regular customer at Foody for 3 years and shop there frequently. Tonight, I called to reserve some çiğköfte and drove to the store to pick it up. Inside, Mustafa (the owner) and a woman who works there were present. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes, but no one acknowledged me no "hello," no "I'll be right with you," nothing. I even thought maybe they didn't see me because of my height, so I went upstairs to the restaurant area. Mustafa saw me and said, "We're coming in a minute." So I went back downstairs and waited another 5 minutes, standing there with no communication. During this time, he served another table and then went back into the kitchen to continue cooking, still without saying a single word to me. This behavior is both disrespectful and a clear lack of customer service. It's disappointing to see a business run this way with no time management, no customer awareness, and no basic professionalism. If they are short-staffed, temporarily closing the store and keeping only the restaurant open would make more sense than completely ignoring a customer. A simple "Sorry, I'll be right with you" would have been enough. Because of this experience, I left tonight without getting what I came for. And I want to make it clear that they didn't just lose us as a family who has been shopping at Foody for 3 years frequently but I will make sure they also lose the people in my circle whom I have recommended this place to over the years. read more

Did you know that this hidden market has a restaurant inside? Well, let me tell you... The food was incredibly delicious. The closest taste you will find if you miss Turkish food or Mediterranean. The meat was well seasoned, the rice was cooked on point, and the salad was fresh. They were nice as I ordered the food to go. Fast service! Let's not forget that you have a market to browse as you wait for your food. Hidden gem! A must-try! read more

The food was really good. Comfortable food. The staff was kind and caring. I will be back.

I've been to a lot of halal markets across the country (and globally). I have to say, stateside, this is the most organized, welcome halal market I've been to. Typically, halal markets are run by folks from other countries where markets tend to be less organized than what we are accustomed to in the USA, and the folks running them run them and present them the way they would back overseas. The folks at Foody have really created a warm and welcoming and organized little market that packs a great selection of spices, halal meat, teas, speciality items, and other great Turkish and middle Eastern finds. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. If there's a particular item that a customer wants, they work to get it in their store for that person. I've found some great things in here. This is my favorite halal market to take friends to because of how organized and warm it feels inside. read more

I've been shopping at Foody international for a few months and thought I found a gem BUT I think I need to find another place. Do yourself a favor and weigh your meat when you get home if you doubt this review. I was charged almost $22 for a 5.90lbs chicken and thought it looked extra small. To ease my mind i decided to weigh it when i got home and i was correct it didn't even weigh 3lbs. I'm super disappointed and sad. I don't know if that was intentional but BEWARE!!!! read more
