Organic Tofu Bowl - Regular (5 oz Protein) add avocado - with Magic Sauce!
    Courtney E.

Always a healthier option for lunch! I have worked near this spot for YEARS and didn't realize it was over here. My coworker told me about it about a year ago and I'm so glad she did! I appreciate that there is a tofu option and that it's overall pretty healthy. They have bowls, mini bowls, and plates with steak, chicken, and tofu as protein options. Base options are rice, veggies, salad, or a mix of rice and veggies. Gotta get the magic sauce. Dining room is always clean and the staff is friendly. Quick to-go orders, always fresh and hot! I wish they had one closer to my house, but at least I can grab it after work to take home for dinner.

Cooked fresh after ordering. Lots of healthy options. Spicy Korean chicken was krispy good with that zing of spicy. Crunchy never soggy veggies. Small clean dining room Lots of orders to go what I've seen but they do have dine in.

After years of thinking this was like a grilled burger place, and learning that it's actually an Asian bowl place, we finally gave it a shot at lunch today. I had the Korean spicy chicken bowl with white rice, vegetables and green onion. I also grabbed a side of kimchi and nori. The standard bowl comes with 3 sauces, the choices are magic sauce, hot sauce, double hot and triple hot. I got 2 magic and 1 hot. Used both magic and no hot, the Korean spicy chicken was spicy enough. It was a good lunch, a pretty clean meal, no big lunch hangover. If I had one complaint, and it's a stretch to call it a complaint, but more advice to others: they pack those bowls FULL! Trying to move everything around to get bites with rice, meat and veg on one fork full was a PITA. You kind of need to dump it out on a plate to mix it up. That said, great value for your dollar!

The Flame Broiler is the Korean fast food attempt. The concept is clever and simple to order: pick a size, a protein, and a rice. Unfortunately, the food itself is also simple, very simple. The plate is the largest size and comes with rice, meat/tofu, half an orange, and a salad. Everything is pretty much premade and the meat is already stir fried beforehand. The problem is everything is prepared so basic that it tastes like something you could make at home yourself. The salad is raw chopped up cabbage without any sauce. I don't even know what to call it, definitely not a salad. Who in their right mind would think that's a good idea? Giving the availability of actual Korean restaurants out there, I don't really see the point of going to an alternative fast food option with inferior taste.

This is one of my favorite places to go and eat! Simple, quick, and tasty. I recommend a regular Half (beef) & Half (Chx) with brown rice & veggies , topped off with Magic Sauce, Hot Sauce, and Jalapeño's and the flavor explosion is complete. I would recommend this to everyone if you like fast, affordable, healthy, and delicious.

I got the plate with half and half chicken and tofu. I had it with brown rice and veggies. The food was great. Not too greasy or salty. However, I have to say I am a little disappointed that kimchi wasn't available when I tried to order it. The tables for dining in were spaced out and were all occupied during weekday lunch time.

This place has the sauce literally, the formula is simple lean flavorful protein on a bed of rice with some veggies a simple formula. You place your order where you select your size, bowls are usually filling enough but if you want a bit more protein go for the plate. Your next option is your base white or brown rice then weather you want veggies and green onions you will have a number on your receipt and before you can blink your food is out and they are calling your number. This is where the fun starts, as alchemy class is in sessions with the sauces. There is the magic sauce which is on the sweeter side and very similar to bulgogi sauce then there are the heat options: Their is a base hot, double hot and triple hot there are also some jalapenos on the side. The triple and double does have some heat but their is some flavor in there heat and you mix with the right ratio of the magic sauce as it is just blissful. For first times I would advise taking it slow as if you go too hot or even too much of the magic sauce you loose some of the flavor as the charred chicken and bee options were seasoned before cooking and they do have a good flavor on their own. The brown rice does not absorb much of the sauces and I find myself jumping between the two, if I get a chicken bowl, I would do brown rice but beef on white for me. This may be a chain but its one of the better options as it is healthy and packed with flavor.

I have loved this place ever since the first time I've had it. During Covid there is inside and outside seating. They encourage social distancing and all employees wear mask. I always get the regular chicken veggie bowl with brown rice. It comes with 3 of their "magic" sauces. This SAUCE IS BOMB!!! SO FREAKING DELICIOUS . It cost $.25 for each additional sauce. (Picture below for size reference) They use fresh veggies (cabbage, carrots and broccoli) They offer steak and tofu White or brown rice Hot sauce Double hot sauce Triple hot sauce And my favorite - MAGIC sauce Anyways. When in Tulsa, if you like the whole chicken, veggie rice thing... I HIGHLY recommend trying this place.

We decided to eat in the parking lot as it's much safer than driving and eating. However, with the option of people watching that also was a deciding factor on why we should park and eat. There is a nice view of the city, skyline and interesting lights and various different people in the area. Would recommend the chicken sandwich combo, however, would probably recommend to request the mayonnaise on the side as it definitely was seeping out the bottom of the sandwich and the napkin was much needed. Disappointed they did not have french fries so we were not able to try them, but they substituted onion rings and the tater tots which both were good. Tater tots could've probably use some seasoning or salt however they were cooked perfect. The staff was polite and helpful. We can definitely see ourselves stopping here again.

Encroaching on a seemingly crowded market can be tough but somehow Howdy feels like an already-established diner. While many newer burger places attempt to overwhelm the consumer, Howdy Burger's approach seems to be keeping things simple and delivering what the people want while staying true to the "burger joint" identity. I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

I had been craving some of Dave's Hot Chicken for a while as there isn't one close to where I live,…read moreso I had the chance today to get some while in Tulsa. I got to the store about 12:45 and they had a few people in line about half the tables inside were full and just one or two tables outside were taken. I got in line and the line was moving pretty slowly. From what I could see the slowness was due to someone in the kitchen shouting orders to the cashier, through the service window. This happened two or three times while I was in line. Right before it was my turn to be served, which had taken me probably 8 to 10 minutes to get from fourth in line to next up, another order came in for a hot box and other stuff. Not sure exactly what is in a hot box but the order was for over $100. Once the cashier got done with that order, I asked if it would slow down my order as I was in a rush and had to be back on the road. She informed me it wouldn't as they have two lines set up in the kitchen. I placed my order and asked for it To-Go as I had already been there a while. After waiting a good 15 minutes, I asked the lady who was staging the orders if I was anywhere near to getting my order. Her first response after looking at the list was "No, it will be a while." I told her I was in a hurry and had to get going. She then said it will be out soon. Let's just say, I had time to refill my drink twice, and I was not drinking it quickly, so probably another 6 to 8 minutes. I went to ask again how much longer it would be and I know she saw me coming towards her and she turned away and went into the kitchen. At that stage I got back in line for the cashier, to ask for a refund. After standing in that line for another three minutes, she had only served one person., with three or four people ahead of me I had run out of time, so I dropped my pager on the counter and walked out. If you like chaos and poor service then this is the place for you. I will probably try other Dave's Hot Chicken locations as I know they can do much better, but this location will never see me again. They were so slow and disorganized I swear they couldn't organize a party in a pub.
