It was not the best, but was not the worst burgers/rootbeer I've had. I read the reviews for this spot, and they hyped it up to be incredibly good. Especially the rootbeer floats. Picked up my order to take-out, so I can't rate much on the inside of the establishment's ambiance. Service was fast, but to be expected. The fries were fine, though. Always see a crowd and decided to finally stop for a dinner treat! Walked in on a Tuesday night to order and take home to enjoy. We met a kind lady, Donna who highly recommended Webers and their yummy-delicious Root Beer. And we were very happy. I ordered a double with cheese, grilled onions & pickles and Hubby ordered a single chili burger with cheese, mustard & pickles. The mustard & pickles overpowered the burger taste but the plain double was delicious! We also got an order of tots! Can't go wrong with tots!!! And the Root Beer was like no other! Absolutely tasty and Rooty! We brought home a container of Root Beer to enjoy. I bet it is great with some vanilla ice cream! The small establishment is quaint and efficient. Nothing like an old fashioned Root Beer in a frosted mug! My co-workers decided to grab a burger and sit outside. It was quite windy but we managed without having anything fly away. The burgers were what you might expect - delicious! They were four in our group so each of us ordered a different side. I chose the Fries, to be honest I wasn't a big fan. They were just ok! The Onion Rings a different story, if you like onion rings I would recommend trying these! Tater Tots meh - take em or leave em, Popcorn Chicken was a worthy choice. It did take about 10 min to get out order but the sun was out and none of us seem to mind the wind. An iconic placed to try. . . just make sure it's a nice day! Weber's is a Tulsa icon. You can't miss this old-fashioned burger stand when passing by Peoria in Brookside. It's said to be the birthplace of the original hamburger. As the story goes, the family of Oscar Weber Bilby claims the first-known hamburger on a bun was served in 1891 and later Governor Frank Keating proclaimed the first true hamburger on a bun was created and consumed in Tulsa, calling it "The Real Birthplace of the Hamburger". Their burgers, while simple, are fresh and tasty. They are a bit on the smaller side, about what you'd expect from similar establishments. The options of sides are nice. They have french fries, tater tots, and onion rings. Personally, I'm partial to the homemade onion rings. These are breaded, and while I usually prefer beer battered, they still hit the spot whenever I'm craving onion rings. The burgers come with a choice of mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions and pickles. Lettuce and tomatoes can be added for an extra charge. I don't mind the upcharge but my one gripe is they didn't mention it upfront when I ordered a large amount of burgers and just charged extra without asking. Of course, one thing you won't want to pass up on when visiting Weber's is the root beer. The root beer floats are a perfect cold and creamy treat on a warm day. It's what keeps me coming back again and again. The root beer is a homemade family recipe that is refreshing with a nice bite to it. They also sell root beer bottled individually or in a six-pack, my go-to whenever I'm in need of gifts for out of town guests. It's a wonderful way to share a taste of Tulsa with friends and family from outside of the area. True to its roots as a no-frills burger joint, Weber's is worth visiting regularly for its nostalgic atmosphere, comfort food, and irresistible root beer floats. read more

Ordered a small hamburger, a double, tots, onion rings and a large Root Beer. Waited over 50 minutes before I received my food. Got home and the burgers were very ho hum. Super small and no flavor. Tots were fine. Onion rings were damn good! and the Root Beer was phenomenal. Just wish the wait wasn't so bad and the overall food came out better. read more

Finally visited Weber's Root Beer and am SO HAPPY I did. Seriously the spiciest brew I've ever tried -- it's delicious. I went on a Friday right around noon and had no problems walking right up to the indoor window to order. The food took a bit of time, but they post that this is expected because everything is put together grilled and fried fresh while you wait. The intimate indoor seating took me back in time which is where I chose to enjoy my meal. I was satisfied with a small cheeseburger, tots, and root beer float for my first visit. Next time, I'll get onion rings (I hear they're great!) and a bigger root beer (because, duh). If you haven't been, go. It's a historic institution that I hope sticks around for another 80+ years. read more

Order ahead for pick up and quicker service. Coupons online - yasss but you must print them. Several sizes of burger patties so grandma or big daddy will get full. Cheeseburgers onion pickle and sauce how I like it, nice grilled burger and large servings on the fries, you can share. They taste more like oven fries not crispy but softer. Root beer was fantastic of course, too cold for the float for me but next time. Parking lot is always tight squeeze and not much room to dine in, counter with maybe 3 seats. Outdoor dining if it's nice weather. Definitely will be back if I can catch them when their open, check the hours first! read more

Retiring owner Jen is a sweetheart..39 years and retiring next week (at our time of visit). But there were too many issues here to ignore. When she asked, I just could not bring myself to telling her the truth. First, food is low quality and overpriced for what you get. Next, dining room is disgusting -- tiny and in bad need of a good deep cleaning. As for the food, root beer was very good in that frosty mug..But sadly that was the only winner. Onion rings needed seasoning, and definitely more than just ketchup to dip in. On my basic 1/2 lb double cheeseburger ($11), flavor was just not there. Beef cheap and tasted gamey, patties not seared enough. Veggies were wet and not fresh. Overall it was a greasy, soggy mess, and the buns fell right apart. It was disappointing, especially compared to the better greasy spoon food we had just across the street. It's just not the quality of food that I stop for. It's very small with only seating for less than 10 inside. There is seating outside, however. The girl at the window took a while to appear so I could order. My order was perfect. I love a cheeseburger with all the fixings, except ketchup. The onion rings were exceptional. Big and fried to a perfect crunch. The topper was the root beer in a frosted mug. So good I wanted to buy bottles/cans to enjoy at home. However, they only had the 1/2 gallon and one gallon available. The 1/2 gallon lasted a few days and was still fizzy. Loved this little gem we found. I'm glad my husband persuaded me to try it. It's a stand with no indoor seating; order outside or drive-thru. We had burgers, fries, onion rings, root beer, and the root beer icee. We all loved the cheesy burgers although they were a tad bit on the smaller size. The onion rings were delicious and crispy - just how we like them! Our favorite part? The root beer and icees in a cold mug! The mugs are a MUST! Definitely will be back! Went on my B-day mainly for the root beer, we decided to get a small fry. It took 10 minutes to get them, they were completely soggy with grease and not crisp, not salted AT ALL! No ketchup or dipping sauce was included and it was a very tiny portion!! McDonald's does better! Paid $5+ JUST for the fries!! I won't be back for their food again! Love it! Burgers and root beer. And fries. Yum! Staff always friendly and calm, even when the line of cars wraps around the tiny building. To expedite they take orders by going from car to car. I wouldn't recommend the smallest burger as it can be dry even with mustard, pickle, onion. Others are old fashioned greasy! The four stars are for the wait. My single burger was good. The meat was a bit crispy on the edges and flavorful meat. The side orders are generous. We had more than needed tots, fries and onion rings. Stopped in for lunch,( thru the drive thru of course) ordered a small cheeseburger and chili cheese dog. OMG both were amazing. Small enough to eat both. I read all the reviews about the onion rings, I did order some, cashier asked if I needed salt, I should of said yes. They were good and if they had salt on them they would have been really good. The burgers here are also super yummy, and if you order right, quite gargantuan! I left feeling a bit over stuffed the last time I visited! Mind you this is a small local joint and is often times busy, this means waiting for your food.
