Tropical Smoothie Cafes always have excellent customer service. I've never once been let down or disappointed after eating at one. This location is no exception! I got the Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and it was absolutely delightful. I also got a kids' size strawberry banana smoothie (since I get full really easily, it was the perfect size). I get something different every time I come here, and have never been disappointed! Be forewarned that you cannot tip if using a swiped card. I didn't realize that, and felt awful. The lady taking our order gave me the impression that she was being put out to have to take my order. The Hawaiian Heat was oven hot on both ends and cold in the middle, when I presented this to the lady that took my order she rolled her eyes I asked her to heat it up so she put it in the microwave which took the crunch away. read more

I go to tropical all the time and this one had terrible service. they also messed up the order after repeating it to me. smoothie was there for not good because i asked for no sugar and whey protein. i ended up getting no whey protein and the added sugar was in it. don't recommend this tropical. read more

They took over 15 minutes to make my smoothie, I asked the cashier about it three time and she told me I needed to hold on, then I asked another employee and she said that the smoothie got set to the side on accident and it was melted. I asked if she could make me another one and watched her blend ice with the melted smoothie and then she handed me another watery smoothie. Worst experience... 4 people there, three on their phones with backs to us at the register, one comes in and stands at the register ans starts talking to the forth- all looking at us and not offering any help. Service good and friendly staff, very clean and felt like I was at the beach for a second. They had other food options looked good but didn't try it. My husband order strawberry only he didn't like it. So I asked if they could change it but they couldn't change it without charging it, I wish since it was our first time maybe they would change it for free. Let me tell you I got off work and drove to the drive-through ordered. A smoothie waited like eight minutes got to the window. The girl tells me that I ordered this online. Bleh. I went in after a couple days of sore muscle, looking for a yummy treat that might help. I had ordered the chia smoothie with banana, peanut butter, etc. I was so excited and then it was brought out. I had never been there and didn't know what was suppose to look like what, I rushed out since I was on my lunch and realized rather then giving me what I ordered they gave me a strawberry banana smoothie. Went here when I was in South Tulsa running errands. It is in a good location surrounded by many places and there are not any other smoothie shops around it to compete with. I've been to a tropical smoothie before in another state, so going to the one in Tulsa was a first for me. Smoothie shops in general are a favorite place of mine to grab something without sitting down to get food. The service here is quick and most of the workers are young high school/ college students. They also have food here so if you are just wanting a snack this is a good place to go and gran something. It will be a lot healthier than the fast food places that are close as well. Definitely worth a try if you are close and also have never been here beofore. read more

It's smells horrible in there and every time , even when I order way in advance with the app I always end up waiting 20-30 min. for anything you order. There is a Management problem here. My husband took our grandson for a smoothie treat. Total bill was just over $9. He $8 in small bills and a $50. They wouldn't make change out of the $50. He asked to speak with the manager and was given a phone number. The manager didn't care that they made two smoothies that they were going to have to dump because he would not allow them to give back $40 in change. Crazy business decision. I have been here a couple of times. I always order the Cali chicken club. It's the perfect flat bread for when you need a light lunch! You can add things or take things off how you please. The staff at this location is not super friendly, their quality is mediocre, and somewhat expensive for what you get. I've gone here a couple of times and there is a weird smell in the restaurant. Went into Tropical Smoothie Cafe this morning. The workers there are extremely friendly and very suggestive. Even saved me some money from what I originally came in to order. The cashier also suggested the chicken pesto flat bread which was simply fantastic and the Acai Berry Boost smoothie that is also amazing. And on top of that the service was really fast. Upon walking into this fine establishment, customers are greeted with the over-welcoming smell of 100%, pure electrical fire. It's really a magical thing, always keeping my eyes just a'bouncin around the room, looking for what hazardous material will soon swallow up this sad building. So there's that. Following the invisible electrical fire, the next thing one would expect to be greeted by, would be a friendly face and a hello. False. I believe they setup their hiring booths outside of Hot Topic, hiring only high school girls who appear to have a 7 or higher rating of straight pissed off. I've even heard that if you arrive to Tropical Smoothie at the break of dawn each morning, you can catch a glimpse of the mythical 53 Foot Truckload Of Pissed Off that is freshly delivered on the daily. That could just be a rumor, but you better believe that I believe it. For example, the past two times I've been in here, I ask the register girl how her day is going and she's just stared at me, no answer. I would equate the collective charisma of their staff to a half eaten waffle. Which I've also had better conversations with, in case you were wondering. Next is the $6 deal on Tuesdays. Savvy customers, unaffected by angry robots, often take advantage of this deal. On our last visit, after we endured a potential airborne biohazard for a cheapened flatbread, the manager rudely pointed out that we only visit for the discounted deal and no other time. What a warm and welcoming soul he was. God bless you Craig (name changed for his protection). Here's another thing though: the last three times I've got this deal, I've been charged three different prices, ranging $13-15. No upgrades, just the same exact two combos every single time. I'm starting to wonder if the electrical fire smell is their cash registers slowing melting into the slime they are. Sadly, I will be back here for that God-forsaken $6 deal. The food and the smoothies are actually delicious, which makes me sad for how many times I've compromised my own morals to return. If management ever reads this, please stop training your employees to be the most depressing people on the planet. A smile, a thank you, a welcome... these things go a long way. I'm not the first person to point out that your employees are rude. And I won't be the last, unless you pretty much fire everyone. I visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe for my first and it will be the LAST time I visit. The female who took our order, who was apparently a shift leader, was very rude. She rolled her eyes and had a very bad attitude. She got our order wrong, which probably would have been made correctly if she'd read the order back like we asked her to do. She didn't have a clue as to what dressings they had or what balsamic vinegrette is. She also couldn't tell me what the drink choices were. They didn't serve coffee or tea, yet had sweetners by the soda machine. The napkins were empty, which I mentioned to her but she didn't even acknolwedge that I'd spoken. There was no cutlery available. I had to ask for utensils to eat a salad. When I brought the smoothie back to her and told her it was incorrect, she act insulted, rolled her eyes, and said she made it like it was ordered and wasn't going to do anything about it. Fortunately another worker came along and made the correct smoothie for us. The smoothie was for a four year old, and there was only one large size available. Four year olds won't eat or drink what they don't like. I think that everything is way over-priced. I ordered a casear salad and it was extremely chinsy. It had browned lettuce, a little bit of stale parmesean cheese, some baked chicken and tomatoes. The dressing was their homemade raspeberry vinegrette, which wasn't bad, but looked awful. It looked like a neon pink crayon had been melted into a cup. Needless to say, I will not be returning to any of the Tropical Smoothie Cafes. read more

I always love what I order - everything is delicious and I go all the time for sandwiches and smoothies. I have not once tasted anything that did not meet or exceed my expectations. However, the past 5-6 times I have been in the service has been really slow. I have waited 15 minutes for two smoothies as the only customer in the shop, and had similar wait times with only one other customer ordering. I won't stop going but the wait can be annoying. If the service was under 10 minutes when I am the only person in the shop, it would be a full five stars. read more

Online the store closing hours said 10:00, so me and a couple friends came in around 8:45 to get smoothies after a workout. We stayed there chatting for a little while, and all of a sudden, right as the time hit 9:00pm a lady dragged a chair and slammed it on the ground and turned off the open sign, locked the door with us in there, and stomped off to the back of the store staring at us until we left.
