They graciously switched it out with regular boba for me which I truly appreciated. My one recommendation would be to adjust the sweetness level if you prefer lighter drinks. The last time I visited I forgot to ask and it was a bit on the sweet side for me. I've also ordered poke and teriyaki bowls from them before and it was ok. Well, I broke tradition and ordered something different this time. I tried the Miso Ramen. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. But it was solid. No complaints at all. Kazama always kills the broth. The breading was a little different than what you'd find at other places and was crispy and enjoyable. The sweet chili sauce was splendid and added an extra lightly sweet note. The tuna capaccio. This completely wowed us. Thin slices of tuna with some sprouts and and a wasabi drizzle. The presentation was wonderful, it tasted amazing and was fun to eat!! Our sushi rolls, two basic and two chef specials. We got the spicy tiny and Boston rolls along with a 1776 which included thinly sliced filet mignon on the outside. All of our rolls were well crafted and the fish felt and tasted as fresh as possible for being in a land locked state. We really enjoyed the 1776 but it wasn't something we'd get again. Where the steak was fine and it tasted good, it's not something that we want to circle back to. On a side note, the wasabi served with our sushi tasted like one would expect but didn't bring the heat as I'd hoped. I enjoy that burn in my nostrils!
