We would never eat here again. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and received a bowl of brown lettuce (more than 90%). Initially, I was picking out all the bad leaves and suddenly there was barely any salad left. I showed the server who went and got me a new bowl of salad (fresh) however she didn't bring it to me with the croutons or grilled chicken or the dressing, thereby me having to pick out the chicken pieces and croutons to put in my new bowl of salad she brought me. Also had to ask for new dressing as I had already poured it on the bad salad. This was absolutely ridiculous ! When I told her, she had such a bad attitude with me and asked me what did I want to make it better. She wasn't nice about it at all. She seemed annoyed that I asked her why they would do this. I explained that I had to pick out all of my toppings and chicken pieces and ended up having to leave most of it. We don't understand how this was served this way and then why didn't they remake the salad (since it was their error for serving it to me that way ). She took back the entire first salad so it's not like anything was really eaten from it. Is this the way this restaurant does business? I let the hotel we are staying at know as well so they do not recommend them to people staying with them. We felt this situation was completely unacceptable. Also, the Pina Colada I received was very watery at the bottom. It wasn't thick/icy like a frozen drink should be.

Brunch Platter -- these scrambled eggs are DELICIOUS!!

Surfside Kitchen is a delightful, pet-friendly gem tucked right by Publix in Vilano Beach--perfect for a relaxed meal whether you're running errands or enjoying a day at the shore. We kicked things off with their Gathering Boards, and they did not disappoint. My wife and daughter shared the Chicken & Waffles board: the fried chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the waffles carried a unique savory twist. They found the waffles a tad too savory for their tastes, but still polished off every bite. I dove into the Brunch Platter and tried to swap the scrambled eggs for over-easy, but substitutions aren't allowed. Happily, the fluffy scrambled eggs turned out to be some of the best I've ever had--creamy, well-seasoned, and just right. And because it was vacation vibes, I skipped the coffee in favor of an Espresso Martini, which was smooth, boozy, and expertly balanced--an ideal way to kick off the day. Friendly staff, covered outdoor seating for you and your pup, shareable boards, hearty entrees, and creative cocktails... Surfside Kitchen has all the ingredients for a great meal in a laid-back beachside setting. Highly recommend!

tried to go tonthey Hyatt for a Latin Brunch... but was closed so decided to try this I threshing place just off the beach. They had a family style Brunch which we ordered the egg with Brie. and all the fixins. Inside is small and loud outside was cool and comfy, 20 minutesr went by One meal came out and waited a while for the other meals. They accidentally brought us someone else's meal... so we waited for our food. All was big and very sharable family style eating. Food was good. No veering from the menu as they were not able to make the adjustments in the kitchen. Pancakes came out incorrect the first time but tasty when they came out the second time correctly. The breakfast that we had was scrambled eggs, brie, crispy bacon, English muffin 4 pcs, fruit and jam with butter.

Great spot to grab a bite after a beach day. Close to my parking area, nice outdoor area, to dry off, and people watch. 18"pizza was $22 and the mocktail $7 there were four of us and we each got two slices. It was satisfying. Service was great, outdoor was nice. Definitely will be back

The service was friendly and attentive. You're warmly greeted from the moment you walk in. The food was delicious and did not take long to come out. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was wonderful with caramelized onions and balsamic drizzle. The chicken wings had great flavor and were served with celery and ranch. Definitely, will return!

Surfside kitchen is a decent little pizza place on Main Street in Vilano Beach. The vibe was chill and the staff was sooo friendly! Service was pleasant. Now for the food. It was fine. Not amazing but not terrible. We started with mozzarella sticks. The presentation was great but I bit into air. I got no cheese in my mozzarella stick!! Several mozzarella sticks had no cheese or the cheese on the outside. Next the pizza. It was good, nothing to right home about but decent. We heard great things about the sliders but they were outside so we tried the tacos. They were decent. Next we had wings, they were okay. Sauce was tasty and portion size was good. All in all for a quick and casual meal, we were satisfied but I'm not sure I would go back.

Went on a wknd morning for brunch. Sat outside since we were traveling with our 12lb Maltipoo. We were immediately seated as a party of 4. Our server was great! Brunch was delicious. We split a little bit of everything ordered. The waffles are more on the savory side, the chicken had good flavor, they only offer scrambled eggs on what we ordered but they were cooked PERFECT (if you only do 1 thing, do it well!). Our son loved the sausage bowl. We prefer our potatoes with more of a crunch but the flavor was good.

What a cute place! The indoor portion of the restaurant is a little loud for good conversation- next time I think I would be better suited sitting outside. Doesn't lessen my good experience - just a note! The service was incredible overall. The food and drinks did take a little long but I think that was no fault of the waitstaff. They seemed extremely understaffed the day we went, but they worked it well! Definitely need more staff at least on the weekends! We tried a couple different boards and what a fun way to do brunch! Our waitress made some wonderful suggestions and everything I tried was awesome. Chicken and waffles were my favorite part! The croissants were not for me - they're sliced in half and seem almost grilled? Maybe just extra toasted in a griddle. Not sure but not my favorite. We also got a mimosa tower and another very fun item. We got 3 different juice options with it and it was such a great selection. One person tried a Bloody Mary which I sampled and it was *chefs kiss*. It was a good amount of food for the cost (except for the coffee - bit pricey for just a plain old cup of coffee). Overall I'd say I will go back, but sit outside. And hopefully the staffing increases.

Decided to evacuate during Milton, brother in law booked us a place in st Augustine and we were starving. Decided on pizza to go here and breadsticks. So good. There was nothing left, we ate everything between two of us. Both had good flavor! It looked like a cute spot and was right next to a Publix and some other cute places like a coffee shop. So even if there's a hurricane, at least St Augustine has good pizza that's not overpriced!!!

We met up with friends for lunch at Surfside Kitchen in Vilano Beach. Kat was our server. Really nice young lady who's been working here almost 1 year. Tina, Tom, John and I were immediately brought out waters by Kat. She took our drink orders and left us to browse the menu for a few minutes. Tina orders the 10" Veggie Paradise. Shredded mozzarella, green peppers, tomatoes, black olives, onions, mushrooms and avocado. $18 John and Tom ordered the Tropic Trio Tacos. 3 soft tacos filled with fresh pineapple pico and a drizzle of cilantro lime crema. chicken $16 & Mahi Mahi $22. I ordered the Wagyu Sliders. Three Australian Wagyu beef Pattie's, topped with lettuce, tomato, white American cheese & tangy pickle pickles and onions. I got it without the Brioche Bun. The guys had some awesomely good seasoned fries. I ate my fair share too. Everything came out hot and crispy. The wait time was minimal. We talked, laughed and joked while we waiting. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and laid back. Really good feel. I'd definitely go back again with friends.

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!

We dropped in late afternoon and grabbed a few seats at the indoor bar. The bar staff here works the entire bar I'm sure we were greeted by all of them during our visit and each provided exceptional service. The drinks here are very creative and all come with very generous pours, if you like rum this is a place you'll fall in love with after your first sip - we decided to just go down the drink menu and try as many as we could responsibly and immediately knew this would be a favorite when in the area. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite drink and it would be just as tough to pick a favorite off their small bite menu. We decided to try a few of the specials, it's a relatively simple menu but everything is filled with flavors that are incredible - the char-grilled oysters are plumb, fresh and unique in every way, the fried black grouper bites were crispy served with a delicious remoulade and a spicy jalapeño chimichurri that will light up your tastebuds, we also tried the jerk chicken thighs skewers and amazing crab empanadas filled with a curry concoction like no others. The portions are large enough to share and really balance out the cocktails, this was a really nice experience and one I plan to repeat in the near future, with all the options in St. Augustine this one is at the very top of the list in my opinion and with parking at a premium in the area they have plenty, definitely worth a try...

The renovations are a massive improvement over the previous bar, and the atmosphere is genuinely lovely. The Good: The food is generally solid. The fish dip and salads are nice, and I've had the smash burger a few times--it's amazing. The fish sandwich I ordered was very bad and I couldn't get a member of staff's attention so left it uneaten. The Bad: Unfortunately, my most recent visit was entirely derailed by the service. We sat at the bar and the experience was frustrating. The female bartender (dark hair, glasses) repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to order, and then got my drink wrong. When I tried to correct it, she literally walked away. My friend tried to order for me, but three bartenders were huddled together chatting and completely ignoring the patrons. We spent a lot that night, and leaving a fish sandwich I didn't enjoy (and couldn't send back due to lack of service) just added to the disappointment. I sincerely hope management addresses the bar staff's lack of attentiveness, because if this continues, this cute place won't last. I'd be happy to speak with the manager directly about this, as we are locals who want to keep coming back.
