We just moved to Reno before Thanksgiving and I'm always looking for great local coffee shops wherever I go. This is it! Adorable little place. Clean, cute and fun decor and great service. Coffee tastes great! They also have gluten-free treats which is a big plus for us! They opened in July during the pandemic which I imagine was challenging. If you are nearby please check them out and support local businesses. I spoke with a few of the woman working and all are lovely and friendly. read more

Been 2 times to this place. The coffee is good. Pastries are great. I always drink an Americano, this one was pretty good. Really enjoyed it!! A friend said the Avocado toast is super good. Will have to try it. Please support your locals!! read more

Support local! This place is a great new local coffee shop in Northern Reno. They use local coffee beans and most of their baked goods are also from a local place. The staff is friendly and it's quick service. We got a small iced americano and a medium hot Americano, both were delicious! And only $6. It's cheaper than Starbucks, and not a chain. They also deliver with DoorDash. Give them a try. read more

Very sweet place inside and it is super nice to have a local coffee shop in Golden Valley! The espresso had great flavor and the girls were friendly. One thing I would recommend is listing out what is in the speciality drinks so customers know. Many customers had to ask and the girl's were repeating the same info over and over: Overall very good!! read more

Totally love this place, it's a wonderful hidden gem, right of Lemon Drive next to Longboard fire pizza. Wonderful friendly baristas and the decor is amazing cute and happy. Super clean and they have great music playing in the background I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Well, this place is a hidden gem. I try to stop by whenever I'm in this part of town for a lavender latte or lavender fog. Hot or iced, they're all great. The avocado toast and the ricotta toast are both excellent as well. Service is great and the vibe is very fun and chill. read more

The coffee was good, a little watered down. The temperature was right on point, the people were friendly. They had it out to me In just a few minutes. I would try them again! read more

Thank you to the business owner for bringing this local business to our North Valleys Neighbors. The staff was welcoming and professional. The drink they created was good. This beautiful table was what impressed me the most. They also have milk options like coconut, soy, oat, almond. A few baked items in there tray. read more

I had a chance to stop here recently after coming across it by accident. I love supporting local businesses and was not disappointed. The two staff members were very friendly, drinks were great, and the atmosphere was spot on. It felt real like what cafes were like before the great franchise proliferation. I'll definitely make it a point to go back as their menu was pretty extensive. read more

I did an online order with these folks for pickup. The inside was super cute and I just love the variety of the menu. We ordered a Love Potion #9 and a Banana White Chocolate Latte. Both absolutely delicious. They recommend using the Joe app so you can earn points towards their rewards and order online without fees (like DoorDash). Will definitely come back again! read more

Good coffee, and one if the few places that make sugar free drinks. Needs a few more food options but what they do have is good

They have delicious and unique flavors for coffee and awesome Halloween decor! I really liked the avacado toast and the peppermint matcha latte with whole milk, but they have almond and oat milk too. Also the horchata love potion #9 and the pumpkin spice were delicious as well! So glad they are doing the Reno Small Business Bingo card so I can discover my new Local favorite coffee place! read more

We're at our favorite coffee shop. Correction! Our only coffee shop; enjoying coffee served by our two favorite people Sara and Zack. Great coffee and food. Sara's personality is what made us love it. And as I stated, coffee is great too! Try the avocado toast. read more

A very cute local coffee shop that I visited for the first time today and I'm very excited to find a new regular breakfast spot

Nice and courteous staff. Coffee and avocado toast good. Mobile app ordering is very easy.

Stopped in on a roadtrip. Easy parking, cute and clean interior, super friendly staff, and delicious drinks and food. I had the avocado toast and a lavender latte -- both were excellent. read more

This is a bit of a mixed review. Service was definitely 5-star: they noted a comment I added online and my order was ready when I arrived. Taste/quality is a 3-star: if I go here again, I won't order my drink online until I'm closer; it was a bit watery which made me think they made it as soon as they got my order. Value: 2-star: they're more expensive than the other "mermaid" coffee place and much more expensive than the "windmill" coffee place. read more

5 Stars! And the service was even better! I ordered the Mexican Coffee, and got a Blackberry Frost for my wife. Ambience of the place was very pleasing. Very clean. I work nearby, so will definitely be back soon! Keep up the good work guys! read more

I wanted to try a new coffee place on my day off so I decided to order through Grubhub. I got the red velvet mocha with an extra shot and oat milk and it was so yummy. So good! What a gem we have found. My husband and I have searched for a great (not chain) coffee shop on our way home from Reno each trip and this one definitely hits the mark! Super friendly baristas, fun holiday concoctions (but most importantly good coffee to start with), delicious avocado toast and Mother of Macros Clean Cheatz donuts. Loved the eclectic decor with the vintage stove, antique couch and raw edge wood counter. What I respect the most is that they just opened in July....in the middle of a pandemic! That speaks volumes. I hope others read this and support this excellent Java stop! read more

This place is disgusting. When I worked nights I would stop by this place every few days to pick up coffee for me and my wife. After the first trip I didn't wanna ever go back because the staff was so rude and inattentive, but alas my wife was a fan of the Love Potion9. There were multiple times where I'd be sitting in the shop waiting up to 30 minutes for a drink I ordered 20 minutes before arriving. And anytime another patron or myself would even attempt to ask the staff a question about our order we would immediately be cutoff by a barista loudly telling us to "be patient" because they're "really busy" in the most condescending tone imaginable. Meanwhile the two girls behind the counter are laughing, telling jokes, moving at a snails pace, not caring at all as an entire storefront stares on in amazement at the unabashed disrespect for the customers and their time. The only reason I'm wasting even more time on this joke of a business is to give it 1 star for the triple chocolate muffin. That thing is really good. You guys deserve a star for that. read more

I came in here while running errands in that part of town and was so surprised by the adorable decor and ambience of the coffee shop! I was greeted right away and Lorena was so kind and cheery, even with her mask on! She made me a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was perfect! Oat milk lattes can be iffy sometimes but this one was great. I sat in a comfy chair while eating my Danish and Lorena was happily catching up with regulars and now I want to be one too! Thank you for the great experience! read more

Shitty service and they treated my friend weird. Came here before and the service was bad, tried to give it a second chance and it was still bad. The owner is weird and got upset one of my friends also left a bad review and told her she's going to call her attorney.... Seriously? Call your attorney over a bad review? I didn't know it was illegal to leave an honest review after a bad experience. me, my friends or family will no longer spend time or money here. Not worth it. Go to pangolin cafe or even Dutch bros instead LOL. read more

The staff was super friendly, very helpful when asked questions about what they recommended even offered to remake my drink if it did not meet my expectations...the also offer a variety of milk alternatives besides the regular soy and almond milk everyone else offers...definitely a must try! read more

The ladies working here were extremely rude. I came in with my husband and all he wanted was a cold brew. They didn't have it, fine. I ordered the Tres Leches latte. They looked at me a little confused and even worse when I asked for milk substitutes. They started telling me they can't make it without whole milk even though tres leches means there are three milks in there. Whatever. Then when I'm paying, IN FRONT OF ME they are cackling about how no one ever orders that drink, I have not even left the counter and they are laughing about my drink order. When I got it, wasn't even worth it, tasted like water and I threw it out on my way out the door. For the kind of reviews they had, and it being my first time, I was expecting a lot more. read more

I love that we have a local coffee shop in the North Valleys. It has a fun vibe and they decorate for the holidays. They also change up their menu, which keeps things exciting. If I was more of a coffee shop person, I'd be here all the time. Their avocado toast is definitely good. As far as drinks go, they customize any way you'd like but I've found some inconsistencies, depending on the barista. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Worth stopping by! read more
