This is a high production shop, so service can vary depending on how busy it is, a who you get for a stylist. The first girl was great... friendly, converstational, and had a gently touch. The second time I got someone else. She was aloof, inattentive and non talkative. She was rough and abusive, like she was just dumped by her boyfriend. She used the clippers on my head like she was mowing a lawn. She asked if I'd like my hair washed, and I said no because I was afraid she was going to accidentally drown me. I have been getting my haircuts here for about 10 years. I've had very good haircuts and some that are average, but I've never had a bad one. Before I started coming here it was a hit and miss proposition around town, mostly bad haircuts. Some people say the people are unfriendly or rude. I really don't give a crap what their attitude is so long as I get a good haircut. I don't go to get a haircut to yap while I'm in the chair. Just keep your mind on the business of cutting my hair and get me out of the seat fast. If you're a customer that wants to have a chat session, go to a shrink and quit your bitching about not getting a therapy session. It's a place to get haircuts for crying out loud. I'm happy with their work and frankly if they don't say word to me I'm ok with it. Having said all of that, I haven't met an unfriendly or rude person in the place. read more

I came in with my daughter so she could get her hair shampooed trimmed. We arrived at 4:50 and were told we had a ten minute wait. Ten minutes later a girl walked in and way taken back immediately. I gave them the Jennifer of the doubt and continued to wait. Another 10 minutes passed and a man came in. His name was placed on the digital wait list board under my daughters. Another 15 minutes passes and they call his name off the board when we were clearly next. I told them we were ahead of him and they looked totally confused. We walked out at 5:30. I have been a regular customer for over ten years (once every six weeks or so). I nearly always walk away with a great cut. There have been the odd occasion where it just wasn't quite right, so I went back and they would always fix it. It can get busy at times (back to school, prom season, etc), so I am glad there is a Starbucks next door. I have also called ahead on multiple occasions to have my name put on the list to shorten my wait without issue. Good service, friendly staff. read more

I am VERY disappointed with the service I received today. I had Carol, who I believe owns the salon. I showed her a picture of how I wanted to cut my hair and she immediately started talking about how the haircut was so horrible and she had no idea why so many people want to cut their hair like that. She did not listen to how I wanted my hair cut and she barely trimmed it. She finished trimming it and when on and on about how much BETTER my hair looked everthough it looked EXACTLY THE SAME! I do not have a favorite stylist but several of the ladies here have cut my hair a multitude if times and they all do very well. I made an appointment because I found it would be convenient if you made an appointment instead of just a walk-in. I found this out when I had to wait almost 40 to 60 minutes for just a haircut. Unfortunately, this time did not go as planned. I made an appointment (as recommended), I was there 15 mins early, I was checked in and I noticed on the wait line board I was placed as the next one up. There were 2 or 3 people already sitting there and waiting which I assumed did not make an appointment in advance since my name got listed as next in line. However, I found differently being that I was twice passed over to the person after me. I find this unacceptable. Why even bother to make an appointment? I do not plan on coming to the location again. I hope the Supercut locations follow protocol and not like this one. read more

I've been coming to this location for over five years and only have had one bad hair cut from whom at the time was a total newbie, so that's understandable. I have been more than satisfied with their hair cuts- but today I experienced some pretty bad customer service. I usually don't mind the in-store wait, but today I decided to call ahead to not take up space in the small waiting area. I was placed on hold for over ten minutes after asking to put my name down. No one ever picked back up to get my name. I hung up and called again, but before I could even finish what I was saying I was told that they couldn't hear me and I'd have to call back and was promptly hung up on. I'm sorry, that's unacceptable. I know most everyone here, and don't mind often when the stylist has to go grab the phone every now and then when it rings, but on the weekend there should be someone to man the front desk at all times. I have been going here for 3/12 years. Mirtha has cut my hair the whole time. My style is very challenging. Many stylist's have been reluctant to cut my hair. This makes it a problem to find the right stylist. Mirtha has definitely been number one for me. I recommend her highly. As for customer service, I have had nothing but very good service from the location on College Blvd. I'm extremely hard to please when it comes to my hair, but Mirtha has no problem at all cutting it just the way I like it. I went in for a hair cut today and had a great experience. The wait was only about 10 minutes and Mea did my hair. She was very friendly and helpful. She gave me advice on products to use for my sensitive scalp and discussed all different options for my cut (based on what I told her I wanted). Overall, I got a great hair cut, shampoo and she styled my hair for a very fair price! The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful. I will be back again for sure! read more

I love this Super Cuts location. Been getting my hair cut here for several years. Took the dive and cut my long hair ( middle of my back) off into a cute short style. Very nervous at first...but I LOVE IT and have kept it short ever since. Hard to find a stylist who is good at cutting short hair, but Mirtha is fantastic. I just won't get my hair cut by anyone else. I always look forward to sitting in her chair, talking, laughing and looking fabulous when she is through. If I could give this place a lower rating I would, however, I didn't want it to look like I'm not rating this place at all. You know it's going to be bad when what you asked for starts off by going higher that the, "just clean up the bottom," that I asked for. Even when she asked me if I normally get a low fade. To which I reply with, "No. I normally get a low taper, however, today I would just like you to clean up the bottom." This in no way means that you are to attemt to give me a haircut where you think the previous one was. My last haircut was 5 days ago. I never asked for you to redo my haircut in the least bit. Furthermore, upon asking me what I think, don't try to run the clippers lower that the bad fade line you made is, expecting for hair to somehowagically appear where you obviously took it off. Finish the haircut. Anyway, long story short, I left after second failure to finish up her previous error and left with an unfinished haircut. i "HAD" LONG RED HAIR. NATURAL AND UNCOLORED, before supercuts, i was goin to an asian woman for 6 years who was an expert in layering and blending long hair. and went to supercuts after i had made the mistake of cutting my own hair- to have it fixed it instead of my hair dresser seeing i messed up my hair. it was still long. the girl there at supercuts who began to cut my hair, named brianne, said it was ugly and she cut off almost half my length and was complaining about how she has to wear extensions because her hairs not long it's short like a boy..but anyways----the front of my hair was uneven and asked her to just fix the front, instead she just cut the length out of the back ..straight across, i could have done that myself, and she said she was too scared to cut the front area of my hair, you know the window to your face? she wouldn't fix the uneveness, she said she was too scared to cut it, it was passed my chin about 2 inches, the shortest length, and she couldn't just level my hair out to be even on both sides?? then what the hell is she doing being a hair dresser/cutter/stylist? so i waited for 3 n half months, grew it out for her, giving her a chance, then i go in with a picture and my hair is well longer than the length i wanted it cut to in the picture meaning my hair was ready to be cut the exact way in the picture- a simple jennifer anniston cut, so easy right??, she said she could do it, but instead, she doesn't even cut my hair the same style but just cuts my hair completely off with no length and no style, just straight across my fccn neck and now i look like a 6th grade boy. she asked if i liked it, i said it's pretty damn short, my face looks different, i dont look llike me anymore, she said, aww you look "cuuute". and im thinking in my head, im not tryin to look "cute", bich, im 33 years old, not in the 6th grade and i'm def not a boy, she gave me a single white female haircut, of course, im single but im not tryin to look like a single white female, that's for fccn sure. i'm never going there again. instead im just goin to go learn to cut hair, so i can do it myself, no ones touching my beautiful red hair ever a fcn gain. and am keeping it pinned up so no one can see how ugly this fccn hair cut is, it's the most ugliest haircut ive seen/had in my life. im def cutting my own hair from now on. with as short as it is, i have plenty of time to learn. im pretty pissed and theres nothin i can do but to learn to do it my fccn self, the only way its goina be done right and the way i NEED it to be. i hope i never see that person ever again. i think it was deliberate since she had some problems with her own hair, she took it out on me. thanks. for the most ugliest hair cut ever. read more

My issue with this location is customer service. I called in the morning and asked if I could come in at 1:30 in the afternoon. They asked if I could come in at 2 pm. I said ok and gave them my information. Sounds like an appointment, rt? Wrong. I get there a few minutes before 2. They asked me to wait a few minutes. After 20 minutes or so, I asked them if it would be much longer. This is when they told me for the first time that I would have to wait because there were other people in front of me in line. I said I had an appointment, to which they replied they did not take appointments. At this point, I left, knowing that it would be probably another 45 to an hour of waiting as there were at least a few people ahead of me in "line." I have no problem if a business doesn't take appointments. It just would have been nice if they stated that over the phone or when I first got there and informed them I had an appointment. Basically, they wasted my time and did not care. read more
