Be aware this is not another chop shop mani/pedi place. Jolanta and Kateryna are masters of what they do and you will rightfully so pay for their skill. Kateryna did my pedi this time and I will be going to her as long as I/her are in the area. For me to be impressed with a manicure as an European is huge because Russian pedicures have been a standard thing over there for a long time. She has spent good 45+ minutes taking care of cuticles, calluses and ingrown nails. This is a pedicure that takes good 1,5 hours of detailed skilled work and yes it's pricey but for the quality that you get not really honestly. I have also been to other popular Russian style pedicure/manicure places in the area but Kateryna is the best, Jolanta is awesome too.

This was my first time getting a Russian manicure and I am officially obsessed! The attention to detail is unlike anything I've had before. My nails look so clean, precise, and natural! I absolutely love the results and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for a manicure that goes above and beyond the standard salon experience!

I had a "destination wedding" and since I rarely get my nails done by anyone else here in San Francisco, I was very particular in searching for options in the Oceanside area. I came across Jolanta on Yelp and after reviewing her work, made an appointment for a mani pedi 3 days before my wedding. Her studio is in her home, which I didn't realize, but it's a really beautiful, clean, and relaxing space. I got settled, we talked about what I was looking for, and then she got to work. This was my first russian manicure so it was interesting to watch. My appointment took about 2 hours, so do keep that in mind. Based on other salons I've been in, she doesn't have a very expansive range of colors and shades, but I was looking to keep things fairly neutral so that wasn't a problem for me. When I left, I realized that the cat eye effect on one of my nails was matted, but it wasn't enough for me to go back and ask for anything to be done about it. I was hopeful that the gel base would extend the life of my manicure more than my usual (2.5 - 3 weeks), but I got a solid 2 weeks out of them before they started to show signs of chipping. She's more expensive than my go-to place in SF, but if it's in your budget or if you're looking for "special occasion" nails, I'd definitely recommend her. read more

I drive two hours to visit her salon. I'm in love with my nails every time I leave. She is a perfectionist, so you will always have the best service and products. Her salon is located inside her home, but it is beautifully decorated and organized with tons of options. I have tried going to salons closer to my home, but end up going back to her every time. Jolanta made my nail dreams come true! When she was finished, the fine detail and the nails I envisioned came to reality. I felt comfortable with her because she opened the packet of sterilized tools in front of me and to me cleanliness is important! Also she cleaned up as she went through each step of the acrylic manicure process. I got so excited when she offered me some drinks. I ended up drinking some refreshing soda, so I relaxed while she played music. In the end I was beyond happy with the results, and it's absolutely, stunning work! Today was my first time getting my nails done by Jolanta and it was a great experience- my cuticles have never been cleaner and she gave me the best gel manicure I've ever had! She was so precise and careful every step of the way that I couldn't believe her prices are comparable to other salons. She even sent me home with a nail care goodie bag and when I got home my husband also noticed it's the best my nails have ever looked! Oh my gosh! I was looking for a new nail tech after moving and let me tell you Jolanta Nails came and served! She works out of her beautiful home. Her salon is beautiful and clean. She is unwrapped equipment with me there so I was able to see that things were safe and clean. She took her time and made sure I was happy worh the shape of my nails. Then when it came time for the design she did her thing! My nails are absolutely gorgeous and I get so many compliments! She is definitely worth the price I paid.
