Great service with really nice technicians. However, I don't like that the shop was too hot and stuffy when I was there as the front door was shut. I never leave bad reviews so this is difficult to write but this was my second time coming to this salon & both times Sandy did my nails. First time the acrylic was super thick and lumpy. The last time I went I got dip nails. Sandy was very friendly but was too busy talking about her life then focusing on my nails. You can clearly see the white powder underneath the pink. When I want to feel girly and present myself like a lady (I'm lying. I will flip you off in a heartbeat because my nails look pretty), I come here. Andy was my first nail tech, and then Diane, as I'm not particular about my nails. I'm just happy with simple white tips. I get my set done as short as possible as they affect my ability to PR my deads and throw dumbbells around. I've learned Andy is patient as he's my current broken-nail fixer due to my various habits haha. I'm probably the only one to mention this, but I love the view because I watch the dump trucks and Superior equipment drive by when I gaze out the window. I've been fascinated with them and how asphalt is made lately, and watching them makes the 1-1.5 hours fly by for me. Overall, I look forward to many return visits, and it's mostly because of the view. I usually find merely sitting for long periods quite intolerable. It can be so hard to find a good nail salon but let me tell you, this is a great one! I don't come here super regularly but I am always happy when I do and I always leave satisfied. The staff is so kind and polite and they always make sure you know the uncharge before hand so you are not surprised. They are also very good about making sure you know the wait time as a walk in. Most salons are vague and will just let you wait but not here. Here they will let you know they are slammed and can't get you in for a few hours if that's the case. Worst experience ever! I went to get a fill here and I was dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted with the way I was treated when I went back. Granted I went in for a fill. But the nails lifted within two days and completely came off, popped off the 3rd day! I felt like she was shooed me out! Literally almost yelling at me saying she's busy. EVERYONE busyyyy! Made an appointment, they were ready for me when I arrived. Mani/pedi done outside. Tents are set up so I wasn't in direct sun...phew! Sari did both the manicure and the pedicure...she is amazing! I have now been getting my nails done here for over 4 years. And have never been disappointed. I get tons of compliments on my nails. Diane is one of the nicest people I have ever met and always does an incredible job on my nails and is amazing at fitting me in between her busy schedule when I break a nail. Lets be real, I put my nails through it and they hold up really well. It's extremely rare that I ever actually break one. The service is professional and everyone there is very welcoming and considerate. I highly recommend going here. I personally live about 30 minutes away and the drive is always worth the pleasant experience and quality of service. Please treat your nail techs with kindness and understanding. They are doing their best to give you a good experience, so when they are busy please be patient. It's worth it I promise. I had a very pleasant experience at Nail It & Spa. I called ahead and asked if they would take a walk-in mani/pedi and the woman said "Yes, please. We are ready." I drove over and was greeted by 4 different ladies, all of them thanking me for coming in and for my business. It was empty inside, but the lady said they were very busy earlier so they were taking advantage of the break. I sat down with Kathy and she was very pleasant. Shortly after, a few women came in for service and the shop was back to being busy. Kathy did an amazing job on my nails, following up with a strong and much-needed massage. I could tell she was detailed with everything instead of just glancing it over like some technicians do... especially since I'm a guy. Once I stepped in the spa, I was immediately addressed and seated at Andy's chair even tho he was finishing up with another customer. I appreciated that because I've been to other salons where they didn't even greet or acknowledge me whatsoever so great customer service for that! It was my first time doing the cat eye design and acrylics and I loved the coffin shape. I was so clueless what to do next since it was my first time and Andy was very friendly. I am not a person who always gives reviews, but I am very disappointed in the service and their careless attitude in their salon. I booked an appointment at 4 PM on a Saturday for my friend and I. We get there at 4:01. The woman (Jenny) I booked my pedicure with had just (literally just) started a new walk in client and completely ignores my presence in the salon. We wait about 25 minutes and my friend gets serviced while I sit next to her when she is getting her nails done. An hour later, the girl I booked my appointment with comes to me and say's 'Sorry' without any actual guilt behind her actions. What you should've done is stop servicing your walk-in client and accept your 4 o'clock appointment. I was trying to keep my cool because of my friend, but I was very disappointed and this has resulted me never going back there again. I am a makeup artist myself, I know how it is to service people, and I would've never serviced anyone like I was serviced at this salon. Ever! People who make an effort to book an appointment should be attended first and actually greeted when they walk in to the salon. And how silly of me to tip the girl in the end. I'm new to the area and was excited to find a new salon. This place had good reviews so my friends & I went. All my nails are different shapes and sizes. Bumpy and chunky. I like my nails to look natural and showed him an example of what I liked. Danny made them extra bulky near my cuticles and I asked him to take it down. One specific spot caught my eye and I asked him to file and he didn't because it "looked good" to him. Now I look like a have frog fingers. The only reason I give it two stars is because the woman who did my nails was amazing. Made me feel relaxed and like I didn't have to watch her every move. She really took her time to perfect them. However now I need to go home and file all of my nails because they're bulky and shape and still have acrylic on all sides of my nails and underneath. Will never be going back. read more

I first drove to Nail It & Spa in Vista, left escondido at 9:30 got to the vista location as they opened like 10:05 and there was already a waiting period of 30 minutes, so i drove to the nearest salon which was Creative Design, they said they would charge me $60 total for the set so i called Nail It & Spa (Vista) and asked how much they would charge which was $53, and that the soonest time they can attend me is at noon (2 hour wait now), so i then proceeded and called their oceanside location and they asked me how soon i could be there which was around 25 minutes, i then drove up to Oceanside and Diane was able to give me my aspired nail set that I have been wanting! Definitely going to book appointments with Diane! Thank you! As a result, I paid $62 $50 for my set, and $12 for my little sister to get a manicure! Sari started my nails and then handed me off to Lisa, who applied my dipping powder manicure. She did exactly what I needed perfectly! And I love how my nails turned out!
