Very pleasant experience here. I live close by and was looking to get a pedicure before I went on a Hawaii trip. Chose this place because of the reviews and that they were open early because I've got a busy rest of my day. On apple maps it's a little further down! When I walked in, I was greeted by Dianne and Ken was busy with another client. I was given a booklet to look at colors for my nails. When I sat down in the salon chair I was already impressed--the chairs feel new and up-to-date. I normally am not crazy about massage chairs being that some are invasive and make me wobble too much, but not the case at all here. It got into all the sore places in my back, I am SO grateful! Love their attention to detail. Communication and pricing were transparent. I chose the basic spa pedicure ($27) which also came with a HOT STONE massage! It was quick, but enjoyable nonetheless. This is pretty unique for a classic nail salon like this, so I was impressed. It felt very nice with the massage, too. Then, Ken came up to introduce himself. He was friendly and kind. Ken is an absolute artist. After a TERRIBLE experience at another nail salon, which I won't even get into, Ken was able to fit me in for a set of gel x nails with design. He was so lovely, we had a great conversation, and my nails came out AMAZINGLY. I wanted to do them with a theme of the elements for my Alchemy of the Elements birthday party that weekend. The salon is clean and bright, and the massage chair was very comfortable. Karina and Thuy were kind, efficient, and gentle. I've been going to Ken since he was at Happiest by Fratelli's. He reopened TNT a few months ago and he's got an amazing team of ladies behind him doing nails! Ken does an amazing job with all my crazy nail design ideas and always comes through. Tina and all the other ladies do such good jobs on my pedis. My gel stays on my toes forever! She also does great neck messages. TNT is definitely going to be an up and coming nail spot to come to! They may be smaller then some of the surrounding nail salons but they take pride in the quality of work they do! read more

My daughter had a very painful ingrown toenail that was swollen. We are visiting from out of town and staying in Oceanside. I looked at Yelp for highly rated nail salons and read reviews as well. I read the review about Tina at T&T and her ability to take care of ingrown toe nails and knew that I had found the right place. I called at 930AM on a Saturday and was able to get in at 10AM. I'm surprised by the high reviews. I actually gave this place 3 tries before writing a review to see what I was missing. I will say the first time I came I thought my pedicure was well done and I was only charged $27 for a French pedicure which is less than most places are charging nowadays so I thought that was good and I decided to come again. Came a month later for a same French pedicure. This time I had a different nail tech and she didn't do a good job. She struggled getting the white tip thin enough. It looked like she painted half my nail white. The guy noticed because he came over and told her something then she moved on to another customer and he completed the nails. I appreciated that I didn't have to say anything to get the swap because I hate being the picky or container customer. However this second time there were flies all over the place it was annoying to keep swatting them away and this time I was charged $35 for the pedicure. Did they raise their price or did they make a mistake the first time? My last time there was my worst experience. There were mosquitos flying around and I got bit 3x. Another nail tech did my pedicure and she struggled with a white tip for French pedicure as well. I did tell her and she said she wasn't done yet but I could tell she was struggling because the brush bristles were so bushy and looked super worn out. If she had a thinner brush she could've been more precise. I explained that to her in Spanish and she just smiled and said I was right but then didn't adjust. Maybe those were her tools and she cant ask her neighbor for their tools? Who knows? The charge was $35 again. For a badly done paint job and bugs I'll be going elsewhere from now on. They are consistently not good here. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. The only reason we went here is because it was a holiday and it was the only place close by which was open. We both got the deluxe pedicure which included callous removal. No callouses were removed. There was a lack of attention to detail. I couldn't get a photo that showed all of them, but the edges on both sides of all of my nails look awful and uneven. Also, we were quoted $47 per person over the phone for the mani pedi and ended up paying $132, excluding tip. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

I walked in without an appointment and got a GREAT gel manicure! Lilly gently tidied up my cuticles and carefully shaped my nails. She made sure there were no rough edges. Then, Lilly patiently applied FOUR extra thin coats of polish, until it was opaque. Her precision was remarkable! My cuticles were not flooded at all!
