If I could give zero stars now I would. This business needs to be highly investigated because a lot of the workers here are not professionals or are freshly graduated or getting hours in. On top of that, I booked for a full body wax that was not completed. Please make sure to read everything before booking! I booked last minute because I have been a loyal client for going onto 3 years now. Never been anywhere else. I had no idea it was going to take a pretty lengthy time to get a full body ... The Brazilian itself took 1 hour & a half because the wax kept breaking & she kept burning my skin. She kept moving up & down the temperature on the wax & wasnt confident in her pulls. She then did my legs, & cheeks, & there was no time for my upper torso & arms. Now the owner is sending me threatening me messages because I didn't pay the second half of the uncompleted service. Why would I do that! Our text messages also speak for themselves. This girl is crazy. I am NEVER returning back! The girl who did the wax was SO COOL but she needs to learn some boundaries on what areas to touch when trimming & waxing but it's the owner who makes this a complete nightmare. AVOID this place at ALL COST. read more

Edit review per response to the business owner: My friend made the reservation as a bday gift and she paid for them, there was no actual gift certificate to clarify and yes I did drove to Oceanside to come to your location. Came here because I was gifted a gift certificate so I had a facial done. Although it felt like she did a good job, I was pretty disappointed and concerned that the lady giving me a facial keeps snorting bcoz she more likely has a cold. I couldn't hear when she had the fog machine like on but once she was done with that and still doing some stuff to my face, all I can hear is her snorting, I really wanted to tell her, maybe use the restroom to blow your nose or don't work when you have a cold bcoz few days later, u caught the damn cold. Also other facial places would give some after care like don't go out in the sun right away or put sunscreen on, nothing from her considering she supposedly specialize in skin care. She just wanted me to book another session right away. No thanks! read more

I have been coming to Le Bijou monthly for a few years now. I went for a facial before my wedding and never stopped! I do their monthly subscription which is an amazing deal. Emm is a pro at designing custom facials based on your skin's needs at the time. Irene does the most gentle extractions and always has great skincare recommendations. I always look forward to my facials because they are so relaxing, and not clinical feeling at all. There's soothing music and lights, a heated massage table, and just all around great vibes! I also love the le bijou face and body butter, it's so protective and moisturizing and has no weird ingredients in it. If you're looking for a lash lift and tint or a variety of other services, those are fantastic as well. read more

I booked through the online portal which was easy to do. The first thing is you need to text or call when you get to "sola salons". It has many different leased suites so you cannot just walk in the building. There was another person leaving the building so I was able to go in. Then the confirmation from Vagaro says suite 36, which is incorrect, it's actually suite 6. I texted the main number since the door to the suite was closed and there was a sign up that said do not knock. I then was greeted by Sherry within 5 mins. Anyhow, the service and Aesthetician- I made my appt with Sherry D. I highly recommend her, she has a lot of experience, she knows exactly what to use on your skin type. Sherry made sure everything was perfect- to the pressure she used during the massage to any other discomfort. 10++. I will be back again just for her and her professionalism. Thx again!!! read more

Update: I was only 5 minutes late because the place was hard to find. The time slotted for waxing is still way too short. I had 3 different races on my face booked which only 15 minutes is slotted for. The wax esthetician blew through the entire thing, didn't take her time which results in horrible results. I still shouldn't have left with a scar. I guarantee it would've been the same results even if I hadn't been 5 minutes late. Horrible customer service and results. read more

The facial didn't start until 10 minutes after the scheduled time (they weren't prepared) but still of course ended at scheduled time meaning I was shorted , the sounds were not the sounds I had listed on my client intake information they have so at that point why even ask. The extraction process the esthetician used her hands which I just really didn't like because it doesn't seem good for the skin and something I could do myself. She is really nice but was also talking they entire time so kind of hard to relax. Also she had gloves on the entire time which for the entire process was just kind of uncomfortable. Let me just note that in the response from the business owner I had visible shingles? I'm 25 years old and this facial was less than a month before my wedding day I can assure you I had no shingles and nothing on my face/body that would require gloves. read more

She left me looking like a total cartoon clown with almost color black eyebrows (for reference I'm blonde) , extremely harsh and she shaped them so bad. I had a very frustrating experience with this place. I scheduled a facial appointment and received confirmation, but when I arrived, I was left waiting outside. The location is in a shared building, so you need a number code to enter, which I was not provided with, and I had to rely on another business owner/client to let me in. Once inside, I waited in the seating area for 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time without any communication from the esthetician. She was aware I was waiting but didn't come out to apologize or even give me an update on when she would be ready. When I called the customer service line, which I did multiple times, the owner who had answered the phone, said esthetician was finishing with another client and would be there shortly. No one came out to speak with me. I knocked on the door of the suite but no answer even though the lights were on and there was someone. in there. The lack of professionalism and terrible customer service is unacceptable. It seems like this business overbooks appointments frequently, based on other reviews I've seen. I was sad when the other site changed my esthetician, but faith has brought us back together! I immediately booked with her without 2nd thoughts. Getting Brazilian for me feels a little awkward and uncomfortable, but she will make you feel at ease, and she is swift and thorough! I LOVE this place. Heather is now my go to person for all my facial needs. I have tried both the Deluxe Hydrojelly & Essential Oil Facial and the Microdermabrasion Facial. These were the first two official facials I have ever had in my life.
