I had a terrible experience with Duy. I went in for a fill, and he rushed through the appointment and did a very sloppy job. My nails started chipping after just two days, and the acrylic was too thin. I ended up having to remove them and pay to get them redone elsewhere. He was also very rough and just annoyed for no reason. He used a metal drill bit at high speed, hit my skin multiple times, and even dug into my fingers with his own long nails while removing polish. He didn't seem friendly and acted like he was in a hurry the entire time. I only went because of the good reviews, but this was honestly the worst nail experience I've ever had. I paid $50 for poor-quality fills and regret not leaving earlier.
Went to this salon planning to get a full set of Gel X nails, acrylic removal on my toes, and the spa pedicure with gel polish. After being seated, the technician told me Gel X would be $60. I pulled up the coupon from their own website and showed it to her -- she said okay and walked away. A manager then came over and said they couldn't honor the coupon. So which is it? One employee already approved it, then suddenly it's not valid? She tried to "fix" it with a weak 10% discount, which I declined. If you're not going to honor what's advertised on your own website, that's on you. I told them I'd just finish the pedicure (since it had already started) and leave. The woman doing my pedicure was decent attitude wise and results were fine. I will say while starting my nails, i noticed the old lady pulled out dirty used tools and also burned me twice and became rude when I wouldn't let them overcharge me. Completely unprofessional experience. I won't be coming back. Poor customer service, no tip for you, MWAH!
Duy @ Be Polished always does an amazing job! I appreciate how patient he is. I've had my nails done at many other places in the past, and others get offended if you ask them to change anything about your nails (no matter how kindly you ask). I like that I can be direct and he won't get offended if I want something done a particular way! He has a lot of experience and it shows because he always makes my nails look good. He's very friendly and kind! The receptionist here is always nice also. Their prices are good, I highly recommend Be Polished Nails :)
If you're looking for an amazing place to get your nails done, this is it! The entire team is incredibly kind, talented, and patient--not just one or two of them, but everyone. I took my 5-year-old daughter to get her nails painted for her birthday party, and they went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for her. Even when she accidentally messed up her nails (as 5-year-olds do), they were so sweet and happy to fix them without hesitation. They treated her with so much care and kindness, and she left absolutely thrilled. I don't usually leave reviews, but their exceptional service and the way they treated my daughter really stood out. If you're unsure where to go, let me assure you--you won't be disappointed here. They truly know how to take care of their customers!
So I came back to give this business a second chance and I was turned away by the owner. She said that because I complained about the ombré look on my review; I couldn't come back and no one else could take me. I told her that I did complain about the price because again WHY is a refill $50 dollars on short nails? I never complained about the nail technician, he is great just prices are outrageous. Anywho, don't say I didn't warn you ladies. I believe in second chances and this was my second one. Refills should be cheaper, might as well get a new set every time I go get my nails.
Would not recommend. I called to make an appointment for a full set, and was told I could come right in. I've never been to this particular salon before, and since my regular girl is off until next week, figured I'd give it a try. I was seated with a gentleman who asked what I wanted and had me choose my color. The problem is, he was very rough. I have cuts and blood on almost all my fingers from over gluing then not separating my skin from the acrylic-then filing aggressively. The nails look fine from the top, but underneath has chunks of acrylic and damaged skin. 1 star for initial look of nails, 1 more star for great conversation of the technician sitting beside him (she seems amazing!) and her client (also super sweet!)
The legendary Jade I heard of this Salon because someone who I met working in Vista Village went to see Jade. Tip her well because she is a true artist.
This is a kind nice place to come! I have been coming here for over 3 years! I always ask for Hannah and she is so kind and sweet! Takes her time and never rushes! I get offered a drink if I'm thirsty too Come check them out! They don't over charge and always do a spot on job!!!
Came in today for just a pedicure and ended up with a pedicure and gel manicure. Trang did such an amazing job she was patient with my indecisiveness and helped create the manicure I wanted! In the last 4 years I've come here this is the ONLY time I have gotten what I wanted and have been truly happy with the way they came out!
It was my first time going to this place. Went to get a full set done cost 100 DOLLARS and in the first two days. One hand was already lifting. So I went back to get them fixed. However One popped off so they had to fix that one. The other fingers only super glued them and in the next couple days, those ones fell off, I asked if I can get a reimbursement or a reset instead said I couldn't get anything for it even though they were falling off from the beginning when I first got them. Jade did a good work because they were beautiful however, hundred bucks for nails that fall off and cannt accommodate you for it. DONT GO HERE. There are way better places that would understand you and give you what you needed.

Salon was clean, spacious and inviting. Staff were friendly and offered my beverages and a free gift because it was my first time! Looking forward to coming back! Daisy is the absolute best. My daughter and I have been coming to her for several years now. She is new to Be Polished, but absolutely worth making a special trip for. Her attention to detail and precision are unmatched. My nails stay secure for weeks until my next fill and she always goes above and beyond to make sure we're happy. LOVE Daisy read more

When I write a review it is usually very good or very bad. Ladies, gents. I sat down in the pedicure chair and was shown prices of pedicure, I was given 2 choices 115 or 135. I'm like wow! I've never seen pedicures cost this much! The tech. spoke in their language, laughing, I said I guess I'll get the 115.00, Well, when I went to pay, which was 178.00, to include 20.00 dollar tip. I told the receptionist I've never paid so much for a pedicure, she said here let me show you the options, I told her there were only 2 options presented to me. So nail tech. and maybe assist. Manager came over, explained this again, Assist. manager said there were more choices, again I told her only two were presented to me, they should me another book that opened with choices, I said again this wasn't presented to me. She then said the only thing we can do is refund your tip. I know the big question, when you saw the prices why didn't you decline, Well I had a event to go to, and my feet were already in the water, waiting for nail tech. All of this seems a little bad business practice. I intend on reporting them to BBB. So ladies/gents beware if you get any services from the business. read more

I think this place is great. I asked for a Halloween design and it came out great even with asking for tweaks here and there. Definitely sticking with them from here on out. The Vibe was calm too :) read more

I have patronized this place for 7 years and have been at times happy then dissatisfied. I got a toe fungus from this place and today I returned just to remove gels and get a manicure. She ripped my skin. When I asked for a stamp on my card, the owner said I need to spend $29 before I can get a stamp. Their prices are ridiculous since COVID. I finally voiced my dissatisfaction and will not return. Now I am in pain from this stupid cut. Terrible service!!!!!!!!! read more

My girlfriend went to get to this location to get her nails done. The technician installed one of her nails crooked. She went back to have it fix and they would not fix it. Both the technician and the owner gave her an attitude when she went inside to complain. I would not recommend this location ever! Go elsewhere. read more

Honestly, worse service I've ever received. I don't like leaving bad reviewed because I know they can be detrimental to a small business, however, I feel very inclined to leave one this time. I am forced to rate it at min one star, otherwise I would've done none. I'm posting the picture I showed the male manicurist and I'm adding the results I got. My no means was I expecting a 100% match to the picture, but come on. It is a horrible job. This was a fill. I asked if he could do it, and there should have been transparency in the answer. I would've very much been okay with a solid color if I was told the designed I wanted was going to be hard to pull off FOR HIM. As mentioned, this was a fill. He did have to replace two acrylics that were broken and the one HE broke with the drill. The service fee was $65. Outrageous. I know that the business won't die since I won't be returning. This is more for awareness to others. I got the nails fixed elsewhere and the professional there said my nails were very crooked, my cuticles were not cleaned, and the nails were even. read more

This is always my go to place. But today I was really disappointed that I cried of anger. Because I went to get my acrylic nails off. They sat me with a man in the corner he was really rough on the process of taking them off and he was using a fake nail to remove them and he broke my actual nail and he tried to pretend like nothing happened and he proceeded and glued my nail back together. Definitely not coming back here. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I made an appointment for my daughter (it was her birthday) and I for 10:00 AM. When we got here at 10:00 am, they told us to take a seat, and after 5 minutes, they only took my daughter. Forty minutes later, they were going to take me, I no longer could get my nails done because my daughter and I had a full day scheduled. The manager offered me a 15% discount, but that doesn't make up for my time. People who make appointments do so for a reason. They did an ok job on my daughter's nails, but I will not be returning. read more

I started coming here late December and I'm so happy I did. I'm extremely picky when it comes to other people doing things for me and with my recent move I was struggling to find a nice salon and talented nail tech. Jade is literally the ONLY one I will let touch my nails. Any set I have requested she has delivered much better than I have envisioned! Literally so talented. I will be going soon for my Valentine's set I will definitely be posting it. Jade handles with care and does a pretty rapid job for the amount of precise detail she applies! Never disappoints! Pricing is also reasonable! My sets also seem to last significantly a long time! I get many compliments and am always referring potential clients to her :) read more
I came in with my friend and was pleasantly surprised! Prices are great and customer service is really great. The best nails I've had in a while, he really took his time to make them perfect. Will be coming back soon! I got acrylic with gel color $32, add on if you want coffin. read more

This was my first time here, the receptionist was lovely and had great energy but I'm dissatisfied with my design. I don't think the design itself was overly complicated. The artist,Phi made his own version which is not awful but it's not at all like the picture in my opinion. I am not one to speak up but I did as he attempted to draw black vines in lieu of the leaves. The lighter nails are uneven in color, not capped, and the rest look bubbly. The nails from the back look powdery and unclean. I am giving it two stars as he did remove the black branches, the price is cheaper than my old salon, and the shape is okay. read more
