I went here for the first time and had a fill done by Harrison and I LOVE it! It's exactly what I wanted and they are solid and I think I officially found my go to nail place. They offered the fill with Gel Color or the Fill with Acrylic color, I choose the Acrylic Color, I think it was 277. I love it. I had a male work on my nails and his customer service was horrible. I don't remember his name but it started with an "H". He barely spoke to me and I when I tried to ask for advice or clarifications on things he acted like I was annoying him... on top of that, my nails were super bumpy after wards and he kept filing them when I told him I wanted them as long as I could have them. He also kept making them square when I asked for coffin/narrow tips and then when I told him they didn't look good, his attitude got even worse. Not apologetic that I was displeased..I'm thinking to myself "this isn't a favor I'm asking of you... I'm paying you and you're failing in every aspect"... I was very disappointed. As a black woman you don't want to assume that it's because of your skin color but honestly it would be silly to rule that out. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Vietnamese immigrants don't understand American culture. They are blunt & might offend you when they're only trying to recommend something. Got my nails done at this salon by Michelle. She was so nice and attentive to my nails. Felt so good to be back in a salon and feel safe knowing they are following all the proper guidelines and even have barriers up between pedicure stations. I got a gel manicure with a cat eye design plus a regular pedicure. All together with the tip I think I paid around $70. I write this review after a week of wear and tear on the nails. I did some gardening yesterday and did not wear my gardening gloves or shoes! The polish is still on the nails and on the toes- no chips! I will be returning ! read more

They are not prompt you can make an appointment at 10am and when you arrive NYh still isn't ready and has the audacity to lie about your appointment being at 10am while trying to pond you off on someone else Nyh constantly cuts your skin and doesn't even bother to apologize I gave this place many chance in hopes that it would get better since I just moved here and didn't have much of an option to go anywhere else. I found LV Nails on Yelp. I am a somewhat new Oceanside resident and still trying to find a nail place that I truly love. I'm always down for new experiences so I was able to call LV Nails and easily schedule an appointment over the phone. My schedule changed and I had to reschedule and they were totally cool about it. Upon arrival, I was able to get a spot right out front in the lot. It's located within a plaza off of Coast Highway. I was taken immediately to the pedicure chair without having to wait. They give you a menu of color options which I thought was creative. I also asked To have my nails wrapped for dip polish removal at the same time as I was getting my pedicure to expedite the time. Sometimes it takes a while for the dip polish to soak off. They ended up doing it but the lady seemed reluctant for some reason. The pedicure and dip soak off took about a half hour. I chose the most expensive pedicure on the menu because it had been a while. It was very nice and relaxing and my toes looked great. I then headed over to get my dip manicure. I chose a really pretty color called "masterpiece" by Kiara Sky. It looked really good but I think it came out a tad thick. There were too many coats. It seems to have overlapped my cuticles a bit. It felt very heavy and unnatural. I let her know and she fixed it as best as she could. I'm still happy with the outcome, but it's a little less natural than I would usually prefer. I'll together with a 20% tip it was $98. That's typical for what I usually get. I probably won't return to this specific location, but overall it wasn't a bad experience and I'm content with the outcome. read more

If you are familiar this place is right across the street from SK donuts. I went in to get my nails done without an appointment and they fit me in! Harrison did my nails and he did an amazing job! Plus I felt extremely comfortable chatting while he was working on my French ombré. I also liked that I didn't have to spend 10 min describing how I want my nail done. I showed him one picture and he knew exactly what to do. He also talked to me about the latest trends in nails. They also fit me in for a last minute pedi which was pleasant. There were currant magazines to look at and food network shows playing. For everything I had done it was $70 not including tip. It is a little pricy but it was a comfortable experience. I would defiantly go back to this place and have Harrison do my nails again. read more

Honestly I have heard of this place for years so I really was not prepared for my experience. My pedicure was okay however they use cheap ass salt scrubs and they don't allow the mud product to dry so it's useless. My nail tech for my fingers was not using clean drill bits which is super bothersome considering he cut me and like not at my cuticle like he deeply cut my finger. As a licensed cosmetologist I know ALL the rules for nails since yah know I ALSO CAN DO THEM so I really found it jarring. They clean and use some sterile supplies but only the ones the general consumer knows to be aware of. I spent way too much for a less than comfortable experience. read more
