I'm glad to know that I don't have to be a parent in this family-friendly environment. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Ambiance - wonderful. I came here as a pre-mother's day treat and it's such a beautiful place to sit and get pampered! Very IG photo op worthy. However, nothing was particularly conducive to comfort. 1) My poor nail tech was forced to sit on the floor while giving me a pedicure 2) I'm pregnant and the bowl was off kilter to where the (non-massage) chair was so I had to sit awkwardly for my hips, the chairs are low so you have to use your hip flexors to lift and hold your feet up during the service, 3) the manicure did not include any pre-soak to loosen cuticles more extensive cuticle trimming and it also did not include even a short hand massage after So if you're coming here and don't care about the comfort, then it's a cute place to visit. But if you like the relaxing massage chairs and zero need to hold your own legs up and to avoid your nail tech from having to resort to sitting on the floors, then this place is for you. A postpartum dream to be able to take your baby with you to get pampered! From about 4 months to 10 months old I've been taking my little one with me to get my nails done and every time has been nothing short of special. The whole staff from the front, to the coffee bar, to your nail tech provide truly luxurious and top notch customer service (I have a hospitality background from a huge tourism city and I'm impressed every time how they've created a cozy yet attentive atmosphere) The price is well justified, the space is gorgeous, very clean, and best of all - zero fumes in the nail salon and they use fans to suck up debris during your service. Childcare is included with your nails and now that baby is old enough I plan on utilizing that as well. I have come here a couple of times now when my kids are out of school and I appreciate the convenience of not having to arrange separate childcare for them. My kids enjoy playing in the playroom. The nail techs have done a great job with my service and it's very nice the barista will come to your chair to take your cafe order. Their lattes are excellent. They also offer free wifi. Cons for me are value. You can get a similar service for half the price 10 minutes down the road, so essentially you are paying about $30/hr for the "free" childcare. They don't have massage chairs and if you're charging luxury prices for nail services the bathrooms should be better maintained. 2 of 3 bathrooms were "closed for cleaning" and the third was not particularly clean either. I also found their gift card system frustrating as well. There is no way to see your balance once you've used some of it and you can't book online unless your gift card covers the whole balance. They were able to split the payment for me manually on their end. Overall I will likely come back, but it won't be a regular thing for me personally. read more

I stopped by as I needed a place to work as lofty gets too busy, but I did not realize what an amazing retreat this was for MOMS! First off, the barista was probably the nicest barista I've ever encountered in all of barista lands. She was nice enough to bring out my matcha latte when I was taking a call outside. The matcha was divine and I'm looking forward to trying the other drinks on the menu. I almost felt guilty NOT bringing my kids here bc I know they would have so much fun here. I've been to the nail salon now a few times and have been holding off to provide a review until now. The first time I had to wait over an hour and then my pedicure was messed up. I kindly emailed and they scheduled a time to have it fixed which I appreciated. The service is pretty inconsistent with either the timing or quality of service. I recently came in for a gel manicure and again they were running behind. The person I've seen a couple of times let me know the staff was supposed to call me. Someone else stepped in to take care of my gel manicure but only a week later and it's peeling off. The staff are very friendly. Kristy does a really nice job on nails. The issue is that it can't be expected to wait very long to be seen and also for the quality to be inconsistent, especially with their prices being so high. Again it's a very friendly environment so if they can fix the scheduling and have the quality be more consistent, it's really a great spot. read more

I've been here twice during their opening week for 2 different workshops - Dance With Baby and Postpartum Pelvis 101! DWB was so relaxing and laid back, the mom group and the teacher Julia were lovely...several of the babies were snoozing by the end. It was wonderful to connect and relate with the moms in the class, & meet their adorable little ones! I've danced my baby to sleep several times since, she loves it. Don't sleep on the Postpartum Pelvis 101 workshop, pelvic therapy is great for pregnancy through postpartum! Dr. Jenny was so insightful, knowledgeable and empathetic. I was struggling to find a pelvic floor therapist, and I left the class feeling reassured & informed, with a handful of techniques and exercises to help rebuild core strength at home. The facility itself is gorgeous and well thought-out, from the soothing and pretty color palette, to the fun mix of goods to shop from, to the airy vacation-vibes cafe space (strawberry matcha is a delight!). There was even a little "stroller parking" zone, and the bathrooms are so well appointed with caregivers and little ones in mind. Edit to add: the Lullabar team are so sweet, both at the front desk and at the cafe! Check-in was smooth and Chanel was so sweet & friendly. I was preoccupied with baby and didn't realize my drink was done - it had been sitting out and the baristas kindly offered to make a fresh one for me after the DWB workshop since it was about to start. I look forward to trying other workshops, there are a wide and interesting variety available from mom support & education, hobbies, meditation, etc. (would love to see a yoga with baby class)! The nail techs are sweet and friendly. The coffee bar is adequate and is a relaxing place to hang out. I would give my pedicure 4 stars but the manicure was not so great. The tech didn't do anything to my cuticles so the polish needed replacing within a few days bc she left my cuticles untrimmed or pushed down. I was excited to try the Dazzle Dry bc it's supposed to be non toxic and it was a great experience to not have the salon filled with fumes. However both the nail tach and the Dazzle Dry website says it is removable with non acetone remover. This is technically true if you don't count the top coat. It is so thick that it will only come off with acetone or soaking for a very long time and working on each nail for about 15 min. The salon uses only acetone for removal so that pretty much wipes out the claim of it being a non toxic salon. Definitely wasn't worth the $150 for a mani pedi and won't be returning. read more

While the matcha strawberry cream drink was amazing, my experience here was really disappointing and quite uncomfortable for me. I had ordered the large iced strawberry matcha which was over $8, an already steeply priced drink. However I was really excited to try and the cashier had seemed nice during ordering. After a long wait, which I understood as they were busy when we had ordered, she handed me the small drink. I politely let her know I had ordered the large to which she told me it was a miscommunication and she rung me up for the small. And that's it. No offering to fix the order whatsoever. I visibly looked confused and a bit uncomfortable as I had known what I had ordered and felt it weird for her to assume it was my fault and make no attempt to remedy the situation. Once she noticed I was uncomfortable she offered me a pastry instead of fixing my drink, which didn't make all that much sense to me. But I said thanks and left. Upon leaving, I realized I should go back and try once more to politely let her know I did in fact pay for the bigger drink. So I went back and once again kindly let her know I had paid over $8 for the drink and knew I had ordered a large to which she then remade the drink. While I appreciated the gesture, it only came as a result of me going out of my way to correct it two times. I was honestly really disappointed and have not had experiences like this at other cafes. While the drink was great, the experience really turned me off for having to ask multiple times to receive the drink I had paid for. read more

Lullabar was an amazing venue for my daughter's baby shower. We rented the entire space (except the nail salon) for a sunday in July and the venue was perfect for our roughly 45 person event. You get the patio, the coffee bar, and all the seating and normal decor that comes with the space, so decorating was not really needed for the shower! Our point of contact for the day, Alexis, was so supportive and amazing - making sure we had everything we needed, helping us set up extra tables, and also getting ready for the coffee bar for the event. We had 2 baristas for the event, allowing for everyone to get a drink or two during the shower. The strawberry matcha beverage was a huge hit, so make sure you get that during their normal shop hours! We were allowed to use the studio room as a storage spot as well, which was great with the bags and extra supplies we needed for the event. Overall, we could not have been happier hosting my daughter's baby shower at Lullabar and will definitely be considering the venue again in the future for any events we host as a family.
