I have done my nails all over the US and the world. I have been to hundreds of places. It's rare that I have a bad experience unless it boils down to attitude. I mean you could do my nails and them not be perfect and i would still be happy.. but if you are rude or give attitude then I can't stand that. We walked in, asked for a " removing gel and doing regular mani for one person and color change for the other". There were three women in there: one laughed, the other ignored us and the third pretended like she didn't know what we wanted. I said it again a few times and my mom started getting impatient. It's important to note THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS in there. My mom then asked for the menu they had to see if maybe we were saying " color change " wrong - she had a hard time handing us the menu but when she did and she said " polish change " the woman looked at us with big eyes. I FELT like they didn't want to help us. I looked at her directly snd said " do u want to take us or nit " and then she said " no sorry we are busy ". Again, they had NO ONE. So what i am concluding is that a polish change was not good enough for them (and the gel removal and mani on other person) so they preferred to not work. Again, three ladies, no other human in there. They were NOT busy.. snd when we asked for that when entering, one of them laughed so I think that is what was going on. I paid $60 plus tip for a regular pedicure plus gel. According to the menu it should have been $55 after looking at it. The gel is already bubbling and peeling off first day. There was no scrub or massage. The woman just did my cuticles then painted the gel on. She put oil on my legs and feet for about 15 seconds then sloppily wiped it off. I was sliding in my sandals after I left. I came in with my mom and sister in law and the lady doing my pedicure finished me before they were done but the woman I had didn't start me for 10 minutes after my mom and sister in law got started. She hurried through then went to the next client. Their pedicures were not much better than mine either. I feel sick that I paid so much for a terrible pedicure that isn't even lasting a day. This is my usual nail place but I will not be coming back. Prices are unreal. Why is it $70 for a GEL FILL! Not acrylics GEL. The lady filed my nails so bad they hurt to touch. Half my skin she literally filled off on one of my nails. Cut my cuticles so hard one starting bleeding and wouldn't stop bleeding. I've had a bruise on one of my nails for a couple months now and it's been healing and fine whenever I have got my nails done. But the lady decided to pick/ file my skin on my bruised finger and she picked/filed so bad my skin isn't even attached to my nail and you can see UNDERNEATH my entire finger nail. Would not recommend went 5 days ago to get an acrylic fill cause my boyfriend was doing work near by and this was the closest nail salon . My nails look like they need a fill already and usually I can go 3 weeks without my nails needing filled again but will be going back to my regular nail salon way sooner as she did not paint my nails all the way to the cuticle all around even though I kept asking her to fill in the spots . First and foremost, this salon has very deceptive pricing and ethics- I was charged $147 pretip [over $180 w/tip] for an abysmal manicure and very substandard pedicure. They ran my card and when I saw the receipt I implored them how it was that much for my services- I was met with sheepish looks and, no clear explanation how the same services cost me less than $95 in October 2021. FWIW, they used to provide a 'Service Menu' for the options for clients to review/select- there are no formal 'Service Menu' signage on the walls etc- ASK to see the menu if not presented with it! The salon itself is actually very unkempt- the floor has so many nail clippings on the carpet that it made me nauseous when I sat at the desks for the first time (second time in salon) rather than a spa chair [and, a woman whom elected to organise all the nail colours into baskets on shelf/wall behind the salon chair I was in- it was far removed from relaxing- than the same person literally ate a flaky croissant over my shoulder when I was seated for my fingernails; it was perverse]. For the prices they're charging- and if quality, maybe, but it's NOT A SPA-you should look into the pricing at the numerous luxury resorts in the North County area. read more

Um I don't get all the great reviews. My experience was mediocre at best. First the excessive upselling. I was there for a simple pedicure and she kept pushing the $46.00 pedicure. Well nope because I have found it's just not worth the extra dough. Then she kept going on and on about callous treatment and I said no but she was persistent. To the point where I thought maybe my feet were deformed or something. I get pedicures every two weeks so I know my feet are in decent shape. Irritating experience and then the pedicure was just not up to par. Drip marks on my toe polish. Uneven coating. Strange shaping of my nails. Some rounded some squared. Not consistent at all. I have tried various places but the Yelp reviews for this place were pretty good, so today I got a mani pedi. Only took 45 minutes, with one person doing the mani and the other doing the pedi. I can't say it's the best I've ever had, but since I've been down here, it's the best along with Colors spa on Paseo del Norte. The two women who worked on me didn't say much to me, they were speaking in Vietnamese most of the time, but that doesn't bother me at all. I just hum a little tune and wander around in my inner thoughts. It's restful. The interior is rather nice. I had a great experience when I went in for a full set manicure and gel pedicure. They did a great job and I left happy! Two days after getting my nails done, I broke one accidentally by slamming it in a door. I called to get the nail fixed and was told to come in at a specific time because only 2 employees could do acrylic. They gave me the option of fixing the broken nail, or taking it off and redoing it. I asked for them to replace because I wanted the length to be the same. The new nail was done with dipping powder instead of acrylic and is a different length, shape, and thickness from the others. I told her it was too short and explained that I had her remove the broken one so the length could match. She insisted that the length was the same and still charged me to fix the nail. This is my favorite Nail Spa. I have been going here since they first opened. I don't set an appointment because of my busy schedule, but it is nice that I can walk in and they will take me right away. There has been only twice that they asked for me to come back in 15 minutes. Not a problem. I get Gel manicures and they last for several weeks. The only reason I need to go in for a manicure is because my nails have grown so long. The color does not chip or fade. The ladies are very friendly and accommodating. You will get what you ask for. I've been to Bellagio Nail Spa twice and highly recommend it. On both visits I came within my daughter. The first time we came for her birthday. Everyone was so kind and complimentary to us BUT THE BEST PART was the Princess Pedicure! Theresa does a superb job and her foot massage is divine.
