Owner is exellent. Most places overdo sanding your nails down. He does not overdo the sanding. He remebers you as a person!

I would never go there again. Tutu did my nails and was not nice and never even smiled. She was rude to the point of being hostile. I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time. She did a dip and it did not last long either. Very poor service. read more

My new favorite place. They really take their time with the foot massage and the painting. No rush here. I was getting irritated at other places because I felt I was being gypped in the foot massage dept. One of the reasons I get a pedicure is for the foot massage. Vogue does it right. And my polish was applied flawlessly. The real stand up here is the employees. They are so friendly and funny. I was so entertained just listening to them interact with their regulars. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I walked into this salon for my first time ever, was greeted by a nice gentlemen whom asked how he could help me. I then proceeded to tell him I needed a full set. He said it would be a couple minutes.. Well a couple minutes turned into about 10-12 minutes. I brushed off the wait time and decided I'd give them a chance. As I'm sitting down getting my tips put on the lady puts 3 tips on that weren't straight and to my liking. She told me not to worry that when she cuts them and puts the powder on they will be straight... Well before we got to the powder and we had one nail left to put on she said "here's the nail, you put it on yourself and I'll glue it." Well, I did. She then had asked me if I'd ever been to there salon and I replied with "no, I've never been here, I just moved down the street and I'm trying you out for the first time." Michael and Nam should have their own reality show. If you frequent this location, you know exactly what I'm talking about. I love going to this salon for my mani-pedi. I wish I could drag my boyfriend in here to have his tusks grinded down. I go here every week not only because my nails look primo but they are clean! They work clean, I watch them clean after every person and they themselves are clean! enough said! I consider myself to be a perfectionist and they do it right! Great local place that is always busy. I often forget to make an appointment, but today the stars aligned and I got an appointment! The nail technicians are very friendly and gentle. I loved my manicure and pedicure. My nails haven't chipped yet, and it's been 4 days. This is promising because my nail polish usually doesn't last more than one day. Came here last minute with two girlfriends when we wanted last minute pedicures before lunch. They took us without an appointment in good time right through the door and even though we were in gym clothes (we were showered!), they treated us like royalty. Great price for what we got and the staff was beyond friendly. I will definitely come back for a massage pretty quick and maybe even treat my oldest here if she starts well in classes. I'm staying up the road at the Inn at Rancho Sante Fe and when I asked for a good nail place to go to, all I got was a snotty looking spa brochure, so I took to my rental car and went in search of a local nail salon. A cute sign from Rancho Santa Fe/Encinitas just before El Camino Real, caught my eye so I went in. I was a little nervous as the shopping center looked a bit run down but surprise!!! The salon was wonderful, they were able to take me right away, they were friendly and professional and did a wonderful job. I got a mani/pedi/eyebrows for way cheaper than I would have in DC - this is my new spot for when I am in San Diego. I highly recommend them. They did seem to get busy after 5 so you may want to call for an appointment if you are trying to come in the late afternoon. read more

The staff here is friendly and professional, everything is clean, and they just got new massage chairs! Since I had time, I thought I may as well get the toes done. The reviews are high for this place, so I take a chance and call for an appointment. I am informed I can come right now. I told Michael I would be there in 10 minutes. From the moment we ended the call, I manage to get there, choose a color and be seated in a chair. Michael offers me some magazines and has one of the two ladies get started on me. I notice it is a cozy place with only four chairs for pedis or four stations for the manis. They happen to have two guys that work here as well. The staff is personable! Clients are having a great time! Jokes are told. The place is filled with laughter. It seems most of the clients have standing appointments. My massage is so good, I sneak in several zzzzs! The pedicure was only $25 and so worth it! This place rocks! THE BEST! I've been going there about 11 yrs or so now...My acrylic nails always look soooo great, even after 2 weeks people will stop me & tell me how great they look. Their massage chairs for pedis are GREAT...and those are hard to find. LOVE Vogue Nails and all the nice people that work there :) Nam is incredible...he fills up quick, so I'd recommend making an appt (but they take walk-ins as well, if they're not too busy). Everything about my experience was perfect. I made an appointment and they were ready when I got there. Tutu did my manicure. She did it perfectly! Another thing I truly appreciated was that everyone spoke English, and very well. Not one utterance of a foreign word. Tutu has only been in the states 5-6 years but because Nan would not speak to her in Vietnemese, she learned English in 1-2 months. Other places, I have not only felt like one in a herd of cattle but KNEW the woman were dissing on us (the customers) in their language of birth. That was not the case here. Nan (Sp?), the owner was funny and charming. I will be returning and returning with friends. What a great find. They are NOT a walk in establishment and as a customer, it's very appreciated.
