I went into Heavenly for the first time today, asking for almond shaped french tips. I showed my tech a reference picture of thin french tips with a natural base. Unfortunately, the base came out full of bubbles, the french tips are too large, and she left excess polish around my nails. I always have a great experience at Heavenly Nails. I like to go there for pedicures because they are helpful and accommodating and take wonderful care of my feet! On my most recent visit, I let them know that I had ingrown toenails, and they instantly took care of them for me. This would likely cost a lot to have done at a doctor's office, but it was included as part of my pedicure. I would highly recommend Heavenly Nails for their top-notch service. read more

I came here on a lovely morning, to where i decided it would be nice to get my nails done. The shop is said to open at 9am and I arrived at 9:15, as soon as I walked in the later rushed to me and asked what I was doing.... I kindly asked her the prices on a pedicure and she quickly declined and told me they didn't have any time, the shop was completely empty. Such a lovely nail salon! Clean, relaxing, no blaring TVs or loud music. Nice polish selection. They only offer "natural" services, so they do not do acrylics. I'm not sure about dip, but they offer gel and regular polishes. *Very* nice prices! I was in town from Phoenix and had no idea where to go for a spa pedicure. I looked online for what felt like 30 minutes, and found Heavenly Nails. I'm so happy I went! Theresa and Lee are so sweet, and clearly have regulars because the woman next to me hugged Theresa when she left. Lee was so gentle with his massage, and did such a nice job on my polish. The husband-and-wife team that runs it has been here for 30 years (doing nails for 35), and you can feel the warmth and care they put into every service. They take their time, pay close attention to detail, and make sure you leave feeling pampered and happy. The atmosphere is welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely appreciate their customers. I'm disappointed in this place, especially because I was excited to support a husband and wife's local business. My friends and I walked by this spot and thought we'd check it out. We made an appointment for the following morning for 4 people (3 adults and 1 tween). We asked about gel x and acrylic nails but they confirmed that they only do acrylic (as seen in the photo of their menu). Totally fine! We still made the appointment. The next day, 3 of us were running late but called the shop to tell them we were 5 mins out and would be there shortly. We apologized and the woman on the phone said it was fine. We let her know that our tween was already at the shop for her to begin working on. Our tween said that the couple told her that they don't do acrylic nails. Even though it's on their menu. She said that they were rude to her and rushed her to pick a color and complained about the rest of us running behind. We understood frustration for our tardiness. But being rude and then claiming that you don't do something when it's advertised in your menu is unacceptable. Especially after we spoke to them about it the day before. The prices were great and that's what initially convinced us to give it a try. But poor customer service won't be tolerated. By the time our group arrived, we learned of how nasty the owners were being towards our friend's cousin (a 12 year-old, btw), we left. Needless to say, we won't be back nor will we ever recommend this business. read more

After spending hour+ at the nail salon, feeling sick from the fumes, and having nails chip a few days after left me always feeling like it was such a waste. BUT I am so happy to have found heavenly nails. It's a quiet, peaceful experience, a husband and wife team, by appointment only, and my nails lasted 3+ weeks. The salon itself is beautiful and it's the first nail salon I've ever been to that doesn't leave me feeling dizzy from the fumes. If I could give it more stars I would. Their shop is inviting, clean and tools are sanitarily wrapped until ready to be used. TLDR: booked, wasn't great I booked because the ratings were great and they had operated for a while, plus I had seen them on my commute. My favorite place I hadn't heard from, so I thought they might have shut down as they warned (lease renewal), so I wanted to find my new go to spot. Immediately this place brought me back to early 2000's nail salons, and though there's a lot of fond nostalgia there it's not what I want to see walking in. I called for an appt because they didn't have online booking, and they had a "full day" so I went in at 9am when they opened. The door was still locked when I arrived, and it was just the two employees I worked with. Totally fine, I asked about potentially doing a simple design on my nails and if they offer gel, and the lady in charge of helping me informed me that they do no designs and only 'this gel' is the best when I voiced concerns that my nails flake easily with too much polish and gel for too long. I hid my misgivings because I absolutely hate to make a scene or back out of an agreed appointment, plus, I hadn't had anything done yet? So the end result could have been great like many of the reviews! Unfortunately I was one of the few that had bad experience. The gentleman that did my pedicure was very sweet, and did a relatively thorough job and his painting was straight. Plus he was soooo nice! The lady that did my hands however was a different story. I had been growing my nails out (which is a big thing for me) and asked for them to be kept long. She filed them down to the nubs, cut my cuticles so close, and then put the top gel coat all over the sides and tops of the nails... I like to distract myself with an audiobook and realized too late how far she had gone... and when I told her "NO it's fine, leave these nails on this hand longer" she filed them down anyways. I was already steaming inside knowing my hard earned nail length (I work with my hands it's a miracle if there's even room for a French tip) was sawed away, and I just wanted to be done. I still gave a 20% tip, because they did put in the hours and work, especially that wonderful man giving a great pedicure massage! It wasn't until I got home that I saw the gel topcoat all over my nail beds and, noticed how far down she cut my cuticles. I had to cut it away from my skin. My hands and fingers were sore for about a week. If you're a regular? amazing! want something simple? go for it. want anything else? I would suggest asking about who works when. my experience was not good, but hopefully yours can be better! read more

the only place i get my nails done in north county. I'm a private chef so I work a lot with my hands and i do a LOT of dishes. I also make food content so I need my nails to look nice in videos and pictures, hence the manicure. theresa does a hard gel manicure for me that lasts 2.5-3 weeks and actually makes my nails longer and stronger, not weaker. I've been to other salons in the area and my manicures barely last a week. 10/10 recommend, only place i'll go read more

Distracted male owner(?) broke a glass display case then left the glass on the floor as there was only his wife there working, and she had a customer. I would have been fine with him dealing with that before giving me a pedicure, and told him as much, but he insisted it could wait. I thought that was pretty risky, given women walking in flip flops through that area, but he claimed they weren't expecting any more customers for another half hour. Needless to say, there was a walk-in 10 minutes later! Anyway, he didn't seem to listen to me AT ALL when I told him I didn't want my legs massaged, and that I had a painful ankle, and I showed him my callus toe area and he did a half-heated job on it.
