Then I said I was going to leave so they rushed my nails super quick horrible shape, super lumpy, cutting my skin. Then THEY PUT THE WRONG COLOR. I was there for over 2 hours. Had horrible service wrong color awful nails and they still charged me full price. I drove 40 minutes there and was a loyal customer for over 6 months and this was over the top. I got my second pedicure here a little before Christmas. The woman was very rough with the tools, actually scraping my cuticle, which left a scab. But the worst is that she dug into my nails! Over the holidays I noticed that both my big toes were hurting. I removed the polish and to my horror there was a fungus infection in both of my big toes. The customer service is bad they start your nails and midway through your nails start on someone new and bounce back and forth my sister asked for acrylic on her toes and the said they do acrylic on toes but she didn't need them when she's always gotten them so she doesn't pick at her toe nails. I got my eyebrows waxed and she refused to do them thinner & gave me two completely different brows not even similar in shape , I do my own eyebrows at home so if I wanted them just cleaned up I would have done it myself and saved the money and then after getting my full set ( I've gotten my nails done since I was 12 & I'm now 26- ik how to have nails) I had a nail break within the first 2 days they purposely don't fill your whole nail so the growth is faster and you go back sooner . Got acrylics done, within two days two nails had snapped off, went back and they redid for free but all other nails were still the original so all fell off within two weeks except the two redone. Also went to another nail salon probably a month after and the lady told me my nail had been damaged from the acrylic because there were still remnants of the acrylic burned on my nail. I don't recommend this place anymore. I paid extra for #3 pedicure (callus removal) and he did not remove callus on big toe, which was why I wanted this. He just scrubbed the heels....Then when I get a manicure (acrylics) Ben did a terrible job because he doesn't listen to what I want. I settled on some light link color from selection he gave me but it turned out terrible, lumpy, thick, uneven, not natural looking at all. I go back to get it done how I want a few hours later and John was nice but Ben and the girls were talking about me in their language and like mocking me because he didn't want me to come back a "third" time. And he didn't even apologize for his initial work that was embarrassing. Lol also their tools are unsanitary. Gross, I didn't know until today. But I paid attention based on other reviews. They offer cheap prices for a reason...but then if you don't give a big tip they scream or talk to each other. My vibe was that they look at you as a transaction which every company everywhere does but they do so in an OBVIOUS manner. Natalie is shouting at someone that her total is fifty, but she already knew...stop yelling the total multiple times. same with me, they told me my total three times altogether and I already knew the first time. Would not recommend coming here. Had a terrible pedicure, which the nail tech doing my manicure had to fix. The woman doing my pedicure cut all my nails extremely short, painted my skin and left them uneven. She said "nails ok" after cutting them short and then proceeded to paint them for 35+ minutes (knew that was a bad sign). I asked for almond French tip manicure and showed photo of how I've had mine before. Wish I had just asked for a solid color because now I have to go pay to have them redone elsewhere. Next time I'll just wait and go to my usual spot.. photo for reference. Also, I was charged full price still for the bad pedicure. I don't leave reviews unless I encounter something spectacular, and John went over and above. He did a full set for me, with French tip and chrome on top. Usually I won't call and ask for something to be adjusted or fixed unless it really bugs me, and I called because I could see my nail lines underneath. Not only did he get me in right away to fix it, but he fully fixed my nails that way I wanted, didn't make me feel uncomfortable for asking for me needs to be met. I don't know about you, but I've encountered other salons in the past that may fix the issue, but will complain, or give you dirty looks or do it grudgingly. He was gracious and kind. And my nails look STUNNING. He saw the issue I was speaking about and fixed it right away! No one in the salon made me feel uncomfortable. I will be returning 100%. Oh my god you guys. I was having a nail emergency. In a fit of grace and coordination, I cracked my thumbnail diagonally across my nailbed on my flight over here. It was agonizing and I was heading into a huge week at work. I'm not from here so had to call around to find someone that was open and could help. NC Nails was super nice on the phone, gave me an appointment, and I went in later that evening. They were BUSY which is always a good sign. I got my toes done while I waited for the nail tech to be ready. I showed John what had happened, and he did a super informative consultation with me about how he could fix my nail, give me more strength so they wouldn't break so easily, AND give me the look and design I wanted -- all for a service that was less expensive than the one I'd come in requesting. He worked so meticulously and I'm so happy with the result I literally did an "I love my nails" dance once I got back to the hotel. If I lived here this would be my new go-to place. Formerly went to a nail salon near LA Fitness which was well ventilated. It closed down. N.C. Nails, even with the front and back doors open, smells toxic. Today, the front door was shut when I arrived. I felt like leaving but asked if I could open the front door instead. After picking my color, and getting my nails painted, I asked for the name of the color. The manicurist could not tell me, but the woman next to me helped, then the manicurist helped take a picture. When I returned home, I looked up the color. It is completely different. I don't know how the wrong color nail polish ended up in the bottle. It seems strange. What else did I overlook?
