I have been going to Christina for the last couple years to have Brazilian sugaring treatments since she was in a salon near Moonlight Beach... and I hope she always stays in town because I can't imagine going to anyone else! The new salon,which has been open for a couple weeks now, is such a better location! It's newer, has fresh floors and paint, and is more spacious which makes me feel even more comfortable getting my sugaring done. Since her move to this location, her Brazilian sugaring service is just as great. I have not yet had a spa or facial service, but I look forward to trying them someday. For anyone wondering how sugaring is different than waxing, you really ought to just try it. I have a thicker hair texture and, since switching to sugaring, I have fewer ingrown hairs and slower growth. By the way, if you do have any difficult ingrown hairs, let Christina know and she may be able to extract them for you. :) So happy for their move to this beautiful new place. read more

I go to Christina for my Brazilian// *Highly* recommend sugaring over waxing, and it is a million times better than shaving. Once you've done it awhile it does get less painful. The location is easy to get to and lots of parking, much easier than the last location. But that's all just a plus, the best part is Christina is so sweet, very professional and easy to talk to.. you almost forget your not wearing pants! Also, I have gotten a chemical peel and that was fabulous. I had been getting chemicals else where before and I felt like they stopped working or the lady was doing something different. I've been seeing Christina for almost six years now, originally at her prior studio and now I am thrilled to continue to see her at the new location. It is beautiful, spacious, clean and cozy. I started originally going to her for sugaring (Brazilians) and I can never go to anyone else. She is super efficient and makes a monthly nuisance as pain free as it can be. Her prices are also extremely fair and reasonable for the high level of quality that is received. After a couple years of sugaring with Christina, I started doing PCA peels with her. She has completely changed my perspective on my skin which was problematic my entire life. I had horrible acne growing up, and my skin was generally not great in addition to having deep scaring. After the first few peels I could already see and feel a difference, and going on about four years of peels I can finally leave the house without makeup on and feel comfortable. I've had both friends and family comment on how great my skin looks, a compliment I never thought I'd get. Because I trust her 1000%, I've bought a ton of skin care products here over the years at Christina's recommendation. She's never pushy, but I always end up buying because everything I've tried has worked. I finally feel like I have a "grown up" skin regiment. The products aren't cheap, but I can guarantee they last a lot longer than the drugstore stuff and are a million times more effective. To summarize, Christina is an incredible esthetician and I'm so happy for her (and me!) that she was able to open up this beautiful new space. On another note, she's just an awesome human being. I love having the opportunity to catch up with her every couple weeks on everything from skincare to new workout routines to life and everything in between. Christina is one of a kind! I have been going to her for facials and sugaring for almost 6 years now! I live in Tierrasanta, but still drive to Encinitas once per month for her services as I could not imagine going to anyone else. I just got my first facial ever and the experience was SO good that I am now OBSESSED with facials! Christina is a goddes with her hands and made me feel super relaxed and her massage during the facial really eased up my neck and shoulder pain. Christina is the best thing that ever happened to me. 5+ years ago a salon I used to get waxed at in Carlsbad cancelled on me same day, before a vacation. I frantically called around town to find an appointment, and thankfully found Christina. At the time I didn't know what sugaring was, or that it was even an option.
