I can't believe I've never written a review for this place! Ever since I discovered sugaring, I've never gone back to any other form of waxing. I've been coming here for years now. I don't come super consistently, but whenever I do, I always book with Jordyn. She's amazing at what she does. I just had a session with her and it was honestly painless -- I'm not even joking. Over the years she's gotten faster and faster, so I'm in and out quickly, which I really appreciate. She always makes sure you're happy with the results before you leave. I've been coming here for a couple years, and always had a wonderful experience. Prices are fairer than anywhere else and all the girls are a pleasure to be around and so good at what they do. Yesterday I noticed they had a new employee doing free sugarings for her training week, which they do whenever there's a new girl. They always have short notice appointments so I booked for the next day.I've never done anything besides shaving to my bikini area, so I was nervous to have a newbie do my first ever brazilian. However, Mimi was incredible! You could never tell she's new at sugaring. She made the process so comfortable for me and went at my pace. The result was perfect. I had an  appointment for a Brazilian with a waxer Mimi Rowe. A very disappointing situation has happened and I am beyond mortified and disgusted this wax specialist thought it was okay to make fun of my Brazilian area?? Due to such insolence of Mimi Rowe I am no longer comfortable going to this establishment. I truly hope you guys do better with hiring so people don't have to feel the same way I do. Embarrassed. This review is late, but well worth the time to post my experience for the permanent brows that Jenny did for me. I have had my brows done by 3 different professionals, one of which was in La Jolla and was a very popular instructor. At the time, I waited 3 mos to get an appointment with this other woman, and I can say I was satisfied, but not ecstatic about the results. A little over a year or so later, I needed a touch up and decided to try Jenny not only bec of the great reviews but also after seeing the work she had posted on social media. I will say that after my experience with Jenny, I will not go anywhere else! She colored my brows perfectly. In the past, other artists placed too much of a red or blue tone in the ink. After awhile, it didn't match well with my skin color. What I love most about Jenny can be summed in one word: meticulous. She takes a great deal of time to ensure that the shape and measurements are correct, and that you are comfortable throughout the whole process. She corrected the shape of my previous tattoo, as it was too thin for my face. She showed me the shape she recommended and I realized that she was an expert in her craft. She could have traced my previous brows, but I appreciate the fact that she was looking out for me and wanted me to look good. The color and tone of my brows did not change, but only started to fade because I was careless and included by brows when I exfoliate (rookie move) so I go to her whenever I need a touch up. I recommended her to my mom and aunts who were also very happy with the results! This reinforced the fact that she is the best because the women in my family can be very critical and vocal if they are not satisfied. I also respect that fact that she is a hard working LOCAL business owner who is a perfectionist at what she does. I wholeheartedly recommend Jenny to anyone who wants their brows done. Of course, she also does sugaring, and THAT was also a markedly better experience than hard wax which I had done at other salons. She really knows her stuff and cares about her customers. I've been getting sugared here for a year now! I absolutely love getting sugared as my option to do a Brazilian. I've only done one Brazilian before at European wax center & it was a traumatic experience. Alli all make me feel super comfortable & it was waaaaay less painful than hard wax. I just got my first spray tan or my life ever to go to Coachella! Jenny had me bronzed & beautiful. I was scared to get a spray tan but it turned out so nice! This was my first experience at Sugaring N' More and overall it was one of my best waxing experiences. Jenny was super friendly and my appointment went so fast! The studio is cute, clean, and aesthetic and I felt comfortable the entire time from walking in to checking out; customer service is wonderful. So excited I was referred to Jenny!! This location is super easy to find and parking is great. The ambience is so relaxing and everything looks so modern and clean here! It felt like being at home when I walked in. Everything was nicely decorated and it felt cozy! Super cute place. I have been wanting to get my lashes lifted but haven't been able to find someone I trust. My sister got her brows done by Jenny and told me Jenny was going to offer lash lifting. I really liked how my sisters brows turned out and I wanted to get my brows done by her to but I have to wait until I'm done breastfeeding. I will def make an appt for the near future for my brows! Jenny does a variety of things, from sugaring, brows, and now lash lifting! I was super excited and made an appt with her and the results was amazing. Before my lash lift she explained the procedure to me and she made sure I was comfortable. She was super thoughtful through the whole process and made sure I was always comfortable and she kept me company. The process can take up to 1 hour but it felt so fast!! I don't even think it was 1 hour. Lash lifting can be very time consuming if you go to someone who isn't specialized in it. Even though my type of lashes are hard to work with, it was effortless for Jenny. She is a true professional in this field. When I was finished I was so happy to see the big difference!! My lashes went from being droopy and straight to curled and lifted, so much volume without mascara, just imagine when I put mascara on!! I attached a pic to even show results. I'm the most sensitive of nuggets. I cry at christmas commercials, If I see a puppy I get sappy, the thought of my children growing older brings bitter sweet sighs. I write love notes, I frequently express my adoration for my friends, I wax on in yelp reviews.... but speaking of wax (see what I did there?) HARD PASS in exchange for my new boo: Sugaring N'More. My skin is the most sensitive of all and for years I've struggled with waxing and other hair removal options. I was shocked at how well my body responded to sugaring, and now highly recommend it to any of my friends with waxing drama. I think the best way to describe the pain with sugaring over waxing is that it does not linger after the action. For example: Apply room temp sugar (slight discomfort) Yank sugar mixture: Ow! Then immediately no pain. With a hot wax, it's like, apply wax (hot! ow!) yank, GESUS KELLY CLARKSON OWWW! Lingering searing pain and layer of skin gone. I vote Sugaring. Just sayin. What's more: my skin was not irritated, I don't get a single ingrown and my appointment takes about a half hour (so much quicker). TikTok sold me on the benefits of sugaring (i.e.: natural ingredients, reduced hair growth, less painful than waxing), so I was happy to stumble upon a sugaring establishment right in my own neighborhood! I have been coming here since last summer and Jenny has made each of my visits such a breeze! She always makes me feel super comfortable and is METICULOUS with her work. She's also super sweet and fun to talk to, so each of my appointments fly by quickly with minimal pain/irritation. Prices are extremely reasonable and they have discounted rates for certain services if you are coming back for maintenance. At some other waxing and sugaring establishments, I would often get painful ingrown hairs for weeks following after the treatment. I have never experienced this when I get my sugaring treatments done here and is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back! FIRST TIMER TO SUGARING HERE! Let me tell you! Alli did an AMAZZZZING job. I was nervous at first because I have never done it before. I've only gotten waxing but even that I stopped for like a year. Sugaring is waaay less painful & I love how the sugar isn't hot! The pulls don't sound like they are ripping a carpet off lol! Plus the small pulls make it so much more comfortable and less painful.
