I was in the wrong coming in an hour before closing for an acrylic soak off and a Gel - X full set. But they welcomed me and SLAYED my set !!! Everyone was so nice and hyped me up about my nail pick and my life. lol ! I played it safe because I've never been here and didn't get a design just French tip with a black line ( I was scared for the line because some salons cannot make a straight line to save their life ) but Tracy did amazing !!!! Omg I will be coming back for the pink cheetah print we talked about. I'm so happy I found my new favorite salon in Poway open til 7 and can slay any design.

They are so professional, friendly and kind! I also like that they offer fill services on Gel X so that it's not a new set every time depending on the integrity of your nails.

I came here on a weekday evening after work for a very much needed gel pedicure. I walked in but I recommend putting in an appointment. I haven't had such an amazing pedicure in a very long time. Jennifer did a great job with painting, cleaning up the excess skin without any pain, and callus removal. It seems they just changed management so they're doing a 20% off offer for new clients. Even without the 20% the prices are extremely reasonable. The shop looked renovated, very clean, and they even offer complimentary drinks. They take card with a $1 fee. The shop is in the same plaza as smart and final.

I walked in for a mani and pedi as the $19.99 pedi deal drew me on. I went in around 10AM on a weekend and they were too busy to take walks-in, so I was asked to come back in a hour. It was no problem for me since I live close but recommend to call/make an appointment before hand. I was about to get my mani done but there seemed to be some issue with a customer next to me that she had to get her nails redone which delayed my mani time even though I came back with an appointment. I waited 30+ minutes to get my nail started. I got gel nails with chrome and I initially loved how it turned out - love the color and not too shiny as I asked, however, it only lasted a week until it started lifting. (Got nails done on Sunday and picture is from Monday). I would expect gel nails to last at least 2 weeks so this was a little sad. No issues with my pedi though. They even massage your legs!

Loveee studio mani, i've come back many times and they've always done me right (especially Holly!!) I couldn't decide so I did two colors they just got in this new color series too 10/10 RECOMMEND also they're always so welcoming and have complementary drinks while they do your nails

My second time going. The first I was drawn in by their new client pedicure special at 19.99 It felt so great and they got us in just before closing. When I went today(2 weeks later) i went to get a full set with a dark green color and almond shape in mind. She did gel and I absolutely love how they came out! The only thing they didn't do that I kinda wish they did was clean up my cuticles and skin around the nails

My mani and pedi for our daughter's wedding still looks very nice 11 days later (photo provided). My only feedback for improvement is the communication between the staff. We arrived at 9:55am for our 10:00/10:15am mani/pedis. The two ladies working were surprised to see us, and Holly, who had made the appointments, was not there. The staff finished with their customer and then started on our nails. The work was good but my fingernail color did not match my toenails as I requested for some reason that was not explained. My guest felt like her leg massage was lacking. They finished our nails and we were getting ready to go when they said we need to wait for Holly to arrive to ring us up. She arrived about 20 minutes later at around 12noon. She started to charge me the full price, but I reminded her about the price she had quoted to me via Yelp. She said the discount was only for one person so I paid full price for my guest which was not my understanding. Again, they did a fine job on our nails but the communication and Holly's customer service was not great.

Came in for a mani pedi. I didn't have an appointment. They said it would be about a 15 minute wait. So they take walk ins. It is very clean. I think they may be new. I saw the sign on the road advertising a pedicure special. It's a Tuesday afternoon. 2:00. Only two manicurists working at this time. I guess this has been around awhile but new owner a year or so ago and a remodel has been done. Great job on both the manicure and pedicure.

Update: adding a star because the retention has been great. 2 weeks in and no nails have popped off or are lifting. I am a nanny and I regularly exercise, so I am always doing stuff with my hand and frequently washing. I also tend to pick at/fidget with my nails and they have stood up! read more

It was quick and easy to book an appointment online. I rolled in about 5 minutes early to my appointment and they were able to accommodate me right away. I got a basic manicure and a soft heels pedicure. The total cost was $62 before tip. The ladies there were very nice and friendly. They even offered a complimentary drink. The choices were alcohol (21+), water, or a soda. It didn't smell like any strong chemicals inside since they had the door open. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience and I'll definitely be back again soon. read more

Have been looking for my new go-to spot for manis and pedis and I finally found it! I was able to call ahead to book a pedicure and I absolutely loved my experience. Salon is clean and smelled lovely! My nail technician was Holly, who is also the salon manager, and she was absolutely wonderful! I got the basic pedicure, which is $30, and Holly was speedy and precise. The basic pedicure has all the things I look for in a pedicure. I don't always want all the add-ons like hot stones or callus removal, so the basic pedi was everything I needed. Not to mention they have 20% off for new customers. Highly recommend trying studiomani if you're looking for a new nail salon! read more

Came across this nail salon after trying out many others in the area. Initial thoughts were that the ladies were very nice, it was clean, and they are quick without minimizing the quality. Tracy has done my nails each time and she always does an amazing job! She checks in with me throughout the manicure to make sure I'm content. She is very thorough and doesn't miss small details. You can also book your appt online which is nice, they'll send you text reminders when it's close to your appt. Their prices are transparently displayed so you know what you're paying for. They also have a check in method where every 5 times you have a service done over $35, you get $10 off your next service. read more

This is the 3rd time I've gotten my nails done here with Holly. She does very good work! I've been getting powder fills. They aren't too thick and last a long time. This salon is a bit hard to see from the street, but it's right next to Joanne's on Poway Rd. I think it's hard to find a good place and I really like this one. She bought it from the previous owner maybe 6 months ago. It's been remodeled. Please support this new business. You won't be disappointed. read more

My girlfriend recommended this place, along with Holly. I used to be a nail technician myself, therefore, I'm very picky. The place was clean, cutesy and reasonably priced. Over the years she's gotten faster and faster, so I'm in and out quickly, which I really appreciate. She always makes sure you're happy with the results before you leave. The facility is very nice and clean, and there's always parking, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!

Maybe 10 or so minutes later she asked again and told me she would be able to do it really quickly and it would be easy for her to do. I should have asked, but I assumed it would be part of the original service I booked due to the way she was offering it. It took less than a minute - 2 quick strips. At the end of the appointment, she told the receptionist to add on a charge for inner thighs which ended up being $26 in addition to the original service I booked. If I had known that I would need to pay $26 for less than a minute of waxing, I would have declined, so I would have appreciated her being clear about the extra cost.

She didn't really give me what I wanted so to say, and on top of that, they were just a bunch of bumps and ridges all over and she didn't file them down I had mentioned to her she can reapply or at least file it down and she said that she did and I saw her try to do that at least, but it seemed like she was a bit new so to say just from looking at her work. Overall experience for me was horrible but if you are looking for someone who does know how to do nails and is really good with designs and shaping definitely ask for Amy. my sister ended up booking with Amy and she did a terrific job as you can see her nails getting done by her ( red sleeves).

I was looking to try gel x but after talking with Tiffany she recommend hard gel to keep my regular nail and build from there. It was perfect because I didn't need the additional length. I typically do square but a nail had broken and she asked if it would be okay to reshape. I'm so happy that we did that. This shape feels more natural than the square. I also saw the artwork she had up at her station and asked if she could do a Valentine's design. I think she did a great job and I would be happy to come in again! I had another shop I was loyal to but the quality had been declining and I decided to try out AO Nails. I'm so happy that I decided to give this shop a try. I've found my new go to nail spot. This place is clean, bright and airy and the decor is too cute. Definitely check them out for quality nail care.

Unfortunately, I didn't even get to tan. I had to take an urgent call and couldn't get into the bed right away, and when I told them, they told me they couldn't set the machine up again. Their excuse? "We don't know if you tanned or not." Which makes no sense. They definitely have monitors that track usage, and if it's an instant tan like they claim, it would have shown on my skin. I didn't want to argue because it was obvious they weren't interested in helping. To make it worse, I went into another amenity room and could clearly hear staff gossiping about customers, mutual friends, even their own coworkers. The ceilings are open, so nothing is private. Extremely unprofessional.
