I came in awhile ago and I was so embarrassed to make a review, but I feel like I need to. I came in with a couple of coworkers to get a pedicure and manicure and the lady that did my pedicure was being very rough and harsh. It was a painful experience, but I stayed quiet because I thought she knew what she was doing. When I left, my toe was very red and sensitive and a couple days later, I got an infection. The toe she was mainly very rough with was purple and oozing with white pus and I had to go to the clinic to get some antibiotics because it wasn't getting any better. The doctor that helped me said that I got an infection because the tools were most likely unsanitary. I added photos below and believe it or not, it's actually looking much better now. read more

Went here very last minute and got a gel full set, toes and eyebrows. Eyebrows turned out very well but 18.00, I usually pay about 10 for the same quality. My nails and toes appeared okay while I was there, but for all three services I payed 120 which is pretty insane when you see the quality of my nails. I usually pay about 80 for all three at my regular place and the quality is really well. Anyways when you look at my nails close up you can see they are sloppy and not detail oriented. I got a very simple nail no extra stuff on it so to pay 120 I'm pretty upset. read more

I absolutely LOVE this salon. I am new to this area and decided to try a new salon and it did not disappoint. I've never met staff so nice in my whole life. They were very patient with me and understanding. I recently had surgery in my left leg and everyone was so helpful making sure they were not hurting me or doing anything that would make my leg uncomfortable. Now it's swollen and red, warm to the touch and seems to be getting infected. It's painful to wear closed shoes, which are required at work. The employees are abrupt and rude. I understand that English may not be their first language, but a smile is universal, right? Very few words were spoken. And there was no eye contact. Other customers seemed put off by the vibe too. Please stay away and read recent reviews about infections and cuts! I really wish I had taken them more seriously. While getting a pedicure, the nail technician dug deep into my cuticles cutting me causing bleeding. She didn't do the actual callous remover just basic quick scrub. When I pointed that out she agreed to do the callous removal and scrubbed so hard she ripped the skin off the bottom of my foot. I am now limping and left with two cuts and worried about infection from it being dirty in there. She started on another woman after me and immediately cut her to the point of bleeding. Another woman working there started shucking corn and eating it at one of the nail stations while we got our nails done. I was there for over 2 hours which is a ridiculous amount of time, still charged me full price and had the audacity to ask for a tip. Steer clear! read more

I had been here twice before but it didn't really standout to me at first. The 3rd time I went I actually had a bad experience. So I wrote about it in a super negative (but honest) Yelp review. Just like any other unsatisfied customer, I was pissed because I felt like I had just lost my hard earned money and so I wrote about it in my review. A few days later I was surprised to find a message in my inbox on yelp. I didn't even realize you could send and receive messages on yelp. Anyhow, Fancy Nails manager Mindy had contacted me to apologize for my experience. She never questioned me or challenged me on anything negative that I had said - she took my words at face value and told me that she wanted to make things right. I was a little weary about going back to a place that I thought had really jipped me & my bf on customer service, but I decided to give them another chance because I really didn't have much to lose. The manager herself told me that she would do my nails this time and she would do anything I wanted for free. She took her time and set me up with some really fantastic acrylic tips. If you look at my pictures you can see what my nails looked like. Since that one bad experience and then the follow up good experience I have come back here on a biweekly basis to get my nails done. I'm generally not a regular at any place (because I like to have variety of my life) but Mindy (the manager) really won me over with her exceptional dedication to making sure her customers leave satisfied and happy. read more
