I stumbled on this nail salon by no choice, as I was as across the street getting oil change where there were supposedly two nail salons but one apparently relocated & the other had their doors locked with the tech just staring at me outside on the phone. Well this little business took me in, had me wait but not very long (in late Friday even!) and I had 3 techs start the process as the other two had appointments & the last one just finished up. He was very attentive, good at details, friendly & funny-I didn't get the young man's name but I would recommend him and I will come back here when I'm in the area which is frequent. New in town and decided to try this place. I'm so glad I did! The space was comfortable and the staff were all smiles. Both Lin & Tammy worked on me at the same time and you could tell they were good friends before they even told me. The pedicure is probably the best one of my life. Lin was so thorough and careful with my two hangnails. She took the time to make sure my feet were in beautiful shape. Tammy was also phenomenal with fixing my nails, the painting and designs. She also made sure my nails were even-length which is a huge thing for me. I'm so happy I found this salon and will definitely be coming back again and again. read more

I've come in here a lot over the past couple years during Covid as well, and I've never been disappointed. As someone who has tried multiple different nail salons from Oceanside to little Italy this nail salon is the best. A lot of these nail salons are charging people and arm and a leg for things and are focused on up selling you but I think the difference at LT nails as they are focused on making sure they get your job done correctly and you're happy. Moved back to California and went straight back to my amazing nail salon. The owners are amazing, friendly, communicative, patient. They are always on top of new products. I appreciate that the staff always can do precise art work on nails. I took my mom here and she loved the girls who did her nails. These are the worst nails I've ever gotten. Since the day I got them, they've looked like I've had them for a week, the gel polish is completely chipped looking along the edges, terribly done, and he got cured gel polish on most of my fingers. By day three my hair was pulling through them already. The man that work here does NOT know how to do nails. This is the BIGGEST waste of 75 dollars I've ever spend in my life. Those who work at LT's Nail put a lot of time and love into what they offer the community. They're kind and considerate and genuinely have fun being together. I understand that businesses are struggling in the current economy and perhaps this is one of them, so I'm giving you perspective from a patron's point of view. The space, chairs, pillows, nail color selection, wall color, decor, basic items need to be updated. Just a little refresh without increasing the prices so dramatically you lose your core clientele. The employees work tirelessly, hours upon hours. Pedicures can be backbreaking especially in worn out chairs for staff. I will continue to go get my nails done at LT''s Nail. I tried this salon on recommendation of a friend and must say it didn't disappoint! I specially drove from San Marcos to get nails done by Tammy - she was really good at her job and always had a smiling face - also very open to let me try/decide color (most tough decision). I got cat eye done which costed $8 extra on top of full set which is $50. The pedicure was average for the cost charged ($33). Will be going back to Tammy for sure not so much for pedicure though read more

Stopped by to get a fill while I was in town visiting family. LT's Nail was seriously amazing and I liked their service better than my normal nail spot. Overall good experience here. I called at 11:45 because I got turned away at aloha spa. They took me no problem when I got there at 11:55. I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure both of which came out lovely. The reason I took 1 star off was because I was in there for a while and didn't end up out of the door until 2:10. For not getting acrylics that's felt like a while. But nonetheless the service was truly awesome and I left a $20 tip to show my appreciation. I've been here a few times now.. All my experiences have been pretty good. The salon is nice and located in a little plaza off of Poway rd. Depending on the time you go, it may be busy or not. The staff are nice and friendly and they do good work. I usually always get gel (sometimes acrylic) manicures and they always last a long time with no chipping!! So that's really helpful for me as a new mom, I can let my nails go for a longer period of time. I also appreciate that they always accept walk- ins.. They do have appointments but I've always come & walked in. My only reason for 4 stars is the prices.. I feel they are a little pricey for a simple gel manicure- plus, there was one time.. the male worker there did my nails and was on his phone quite a bit (while doing my nails, therefore his attention to detail wasn't the best).. so to me, that was not very good customer service at all. But other than that one time, I appreciate the good work done here, kind staff, good music & cleanliness of the salon. :) read more

Unfortunately, even tho I'd made a specific appt for services, allowing an hour of time, I was kept waiting for almost 45 minutes. My time is important too. I had an appt after nails so was stressed. I think this salon may over book appts. I was in a real hurry when Tammy finally started my service. It's very inconsiderate for a salon to not honor an appt. Many options to choose from include gel, acrylic, and powder. They gave good recommendations about the gel colors and did fabulous designs. They accepted me to do my nails at 7 pm (when they closed), which I greatly appreciate. A little tip: they're understaffed. Make sure to call before you walk in, or you will wait a long time. I've been a client of Tammy's for over 5 years now. When she told me she was moving to a new salon I knew I had to follow her wherever she goes! I now have to drive 40 minutes to get a manicure from her, but it's so worth it. Tammy is so detail oriented and really makes your nails look flawless.
