Long story short had an issue with the nail technician that was available. She was already in a sassy rude mood and she ended up not understanding what it is. I wanted and got frustrated and then handed me off to Anne who did an effy job. I told the Insta picture and what it is I wanted. She didn't really give me what I wanted so to say, and on top of that, they were just a bunch of bumps and ridges all over and she didn't file them down I had mentioned to her she can reapply or at least file it down and she said that she did and I saw her try to do that at least, but it seemed like she was a bit new so to say just from looking at her work. Overall experience for me was horrible but if you are looking for someone who does know how to do nails and is really good with designs and shaping definitely ask for Amy. my sister ended up booking with Amy and she did a terrific job as you can see her nails getting done by her ( red sleeves). read more

The owner Julia set up an appointment for me with Amy who did a wonderful job. Amy was very fast, efficient, and neat and deserves all the praise she gets. The whole process (from removing my previous gel-x tips to applying hard gel to the design) took about an hour and twenty minutes. Pictures unfortunately don't do justice on how delicate and pretty she drew the designs. I will definitely be going back for Amy's work and I greatly appreciate Lele's nails for reaching out with the complimentary service. read more

I went there yesterday for a pedicure and that was probably the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. They don't train their new hires and I'm very disappointed and feel like I've wasted my money. I came back and got an acrylic full set from Amy! She's super sweet and finished the service and incredible nail art in an hour. About a week after the service some of the gel color started peeling and was still wet (probably not fully cured), but still a good set overall. All of my fingers were chipped with the wet/sticky gel under by the second week of having them on. read more

I've gotten both services done here and absolutely love how careful and detail oriented all the nail techs are. they have a range of polishes (including Japanese jelly polishes and magnetic nails). Although I love having fun nail polish colors and designs on my nails, i had to get plain gel for work. But luckily they have a variety of simple pinky nudes to choose from as well! Nail techs helped me choose a color and kindly switched it out when I asked for a different color :) staff is sooo sweet and caring too. I am a regular customer at LeLe's Nails. Since the beginning, the manager/owner, Julia, has not been welcoming, although the staff seemed okay. A couple of weeks ago, I went in to get my nails done, and the experience was absolutely horrible. After just six days, I had to return because of how bad they looked. Another lady fixed them, but treated me very poorly while doing so. Today was the worst experience yet. My friend made an appointment for both of us -- 10:00 AM for her, and 11:00 AM for me -- and we specifically requested a certain technician. She had to wait until 10:40 AM for him to even start. I then waited until 11:45 AM, only to be told that I wasn't next and that another person was ahead of me. You can only imagine how furious I was. No one apologized -- in fact, they laughed when I said I was going to leave a bad review. I ended up going to a nail salon down the street called Kim Nails, and they did a wonderful job. This has never happened before with my nail where they ripped off my real nail. I think they are cutting circle. I read great reviews about Lele Nails & Spa, so my stepdaughter and I decided to go, and we are so happy we did! I got a spa pedicure, and I can't express how wonderful Hanna was! The massage was so relaxing, and she was so attentive to details! She is also very funny and friendly. Excited to start school in a few days, my stepdaughter got a mani and pedi, which was done by Kim. I am also so impressed by Kim's attentiveness to details and how accommodating she was, especially to kids! Kim is so adorable and her artwork skills are amazing!! My stepdaughter loves Hello Kitty, so Kim topped off our experience by offering to hand draw Hello Kitty on my stepdaughter's toes, which came out so good! I do not typically write reviews, nevertheless poor ones, but the nails I received were far from the inspo picture I gave. The nails felt haphazardly done. I can recognize that the initial picture I gave was not an easy design to do, but I'd rather the artist be honest with me than have me waste her time and lose out on $90 (including tip). I was way too nice considering the quality I received. My hands weren't even cleaned -- it wasn't until I got into my car that I noticed polish residue on my fingers. Perhaps complicated designs aren't meant to be done here. You're better off getting a single color manicure. Beyond that, my appointment time was meant to start at 9 -- but was constantly interrupted by phone calls. I get that they're busy, but my nail artist shouldn't be taking calls mid appointment. I went to another nail salon in Mira Mesa where the nail artist there told me my nails were put on incorrectly (too much glue). I've included the original inspo picture for reference. If it's any consolation, the team is friendly and accommodating, though everyone around me seemed to be offered coffee/water but me. I went in to get my nails done--something simple--and instead of helping, they kept making excuses for why they couldn't do them. They told me the lady I normally see no longer works there, which I said was fine and that I'd be happy with someone else. The woman I spoke with seemed annoyed by that. When I showed her my inspiration photo, she said they didn't have the exact color and refused to do my nails. In the past, when I saw Tina, if the exact shade wasn't available, she would always improvise and make it work. (There was nobody else getting their nails done at the time this all happened.) The staff was also very rude and unprofessional. I had called two weeks earlier to book an appointment, but they kept ignoring my calls. When they finally answered, I was told I'd get a call back--which never happened. Not only that, I even tried messaging them on Instagram to see if maybe their phones weren't working, plus they said they could be reach by instagram. They responded at first, but then deleted their message and blocked me. I've been going there for a long time so I don't know what changed but since it seems like I'm not welcomed there anymore I've found somewhere else to go.
