Update to my update: we took a 3 week trip to Japan and the builder gel lasted the whole trip! From carrying luggage up and down stairs and train rides, the nails didn't chip and lasted well after the trip. Thanks again to Julia for handling my situation and for the beautiful nails!
The owner Julia set up an appointment for me with Amy who did a wonderful job. Amy was very fast, efficient, and neat and deserves all the praise she gets. The whole process (from removing my previous gel-x tips to applying hard gel to the design) took about an hour and twenty minutes. Pictures unfortunately don't do justice on how delicate and pretty she drew the designs. I will definitely be going back for Amy's work and I greatly appreciate Lele's nails for reaching out with the complimentary service.
My go to place for manis and pedis!! I've gotten both services done here and absolutely love how careful and detail oriented all the nail techs are. they have a range of polishes (including Japanese jelly polishes and magnetic nails). Although I love having fun nail polish colors and designs on my nails, i had to get plain gel for work. But luckily they have a variety of simple pinky nudes to choose from as well! Nail techs helped me choose a color and kindly switched it out when I asked for a different color :) staff is sooo sweet and caring too. Services also come with a complimentary beverage, I love getting the Vietnamese coffee
Kim no longer works here but loved my Gel manicure done by Harry. He shaped my nails well & made sure I loved them before moving onto each step. I so appreciated that. And I still love Julia, the manager. She is so kind & sweet and the reason I keep coming back. Thank you Julia for your generous hospitality :) and thank you Harry for my nails!!
I came back and got an acrylic full set from Amy! She's super sweet and finished the service and incredible nail art in an hour. About a week after the service some of the gel color started peeling and was still wet (probably not fully cured), but still a good set overall. All of my fingers were chipped with the wet/sticky gel under by the second week of having them on.
I am a regular customer at LeLe's Nails. Since the beginning, the manager/owner, Julia, has not been welcoming, although the staff seemed okay. A couple of weeks ago, I went in to get my nails done, and the experience was absolutely horrible. After just six days, I had to return because of how bad they looked. Another lady fixed them, but treated me very poorly while doing so. Today was the worst experience yet. My friend made an appointment for both of us -- 10:00 AM for her, and 11:00 AM for me -- and we specifically requested a certain technician. She had to wait until 10:40 AM for him to even start. I then waited until 11:45 AM, only to be told that I wasn't next and that another person was ahead of me. You can only imagine how furious I was. No one apologized -- in fact, they laughed when I said I was going to leave a bad review. I ended up going to a nail salon down the street called Kim Nails, and they did a wonderful job. I will definitely not be recommending LeLe's Nails. Horrible customer service. First picture is from the time I got my nails done and they did it very poorly. It hasn't been long since I got them done and a few days ago one of my nails started to peal off and my pinky now is bleeding and hurting. This has never happened before with my nail where they ripped off my real nail. I think they are cutting circle. Because of the last time I went in the customer service isn't good I don't even think they would fix it even if it's their fault. WORST SERVICE EVER
My normal nail salon is located in San Diego, but I am in Poway often and have been looking for a backup place to go. I read great reviews about Lele Nails & Spa, so my stepdaughter and I decided to go, and we are so happy we did! I got a spa pedicure, and I can't express how wonderful Hanna was! The massage was so relaxing, and she was so attentive to details! She is also very funny and friendly. Excited to start school in a few days, my stepdaughter got a mani and pedi, which was done by Kim. I am also so impressed by Kim's attentiveness to details and how accommodating she was, especially to kids! Kim is so adorable and her artwork skills are amazing!! My stepdaughter loves Hello Kitty, so Kim topped off our experience by offering to hand draw Hello Kitty on my stepdaughter's toes, which came out so good! The salon is very clean and beautiful decorated. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Hanna and Kim for making our first time such an enjoyable, quality experience!
I do not typically write reviews, nevertheless poor ones, but the nails I received were far from the inspo picture I gave. The nails felt haphazardly done. I can recognize that the initial picture I gave was not an easy design to do, but I'd rather the artist be honest with me than have me waste her time and lose out on $90 (including tip). I was way too nice considering the quality I received. My hands weren't even cleaned -- it wasn't until I got into my car that I noticed polish residue on my fingers. Perhaps complicated designs aren't meant to be done here. You're better off getting a single color manicure. Beyond that, my appointment time was meant to start at 9 -- but was constantly interrupted by phone calls. I get that they're busy, but my nail artist shouldn't be taking calls mid appointment. I went to another nail salon in Mira Mesa where the nail artist there told me my nails were put on incorrectly (too much glue). I've included the original inspo picture for reference. If it's any consolation, the team is friendly and accommodating, though everyone around me seemed to be offered coffee/water but me. I do recommend this place, just maybe come in with less expectations.

I scheduled mani and pedi appointments for myself, my sister, and my niece; my nephew came along for a haircut (which we later realized they do not offer haircuts). We had went the day before my wedding weekend for a bridal pamper party. The ladies at the salon were so thoughtful, kind, and made our visit feel luxurious. Our pedicures were so relaxing, and for my niece, who is seven, they were gentle and making her feel like a little princess. Our manicurists were spot on with the designs we asked for and our nails/toes came out stunning! We had a great experience, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Very professional and talented, I love how my wedding nails turned out :)

Long story short had an issue with the nail technician that was available. She was already in a sassy rude mood and she ended up not understanding what it is. I wanted and got frustrated and then handed me off to Anne who did an effy job. I told the Insta picture and what it is I wanted. She didn't really give me what I wanted so to say, and on top of that, they were just a bunch of bumps and ridges all over and she didn't file them down I had mentioned to her she can reapply or at least file it down and she said that she did and I saw her try to do that at least, but it seemed like she was a bit new so to say just from looking at her work. Overall experience for me was horrible but if you are looking for someone who does know how to do nails and is really good with designs and shaping definitely ask for Amy. my sister ended up booking with Amy and she did a terrific job as you can see her nails getting done by her ( red sleeves). read more

Been to Lele's Nails a few times now for Gel X appointments and they are now my new go-to spot! I also like that they offer fill services on your Gel X nails so you don't always have to do a full take off of your existing set. They also do a great job with nail art as well, just bring in a picture and they work their magic to make your vision come to life! The salon is clean, welcoming, and every nail and pedicure technician that work here are friendly, talented, and knowledgeable. Definitely check this place out for excellent work and a pleasant time at the salon! read more

I foundLeLes's Nails Salon on Yelp. Julia's name was tagged on some pictures and reviews. I get acrylic powder with gel overlay. Sometimes long but mostly short length. That's what impressed me with Julia was her amazing short nails and nail art!! Book her today. U won't be disappointed. AND..my nails last so so long. Usually i need a nail refill after 2 weeks. With Julia, i can go 4-6 weeks!!!! Julia is the best! I can bring any idea or pictures and she can deliver results! Best nail art tech! The spa is gorgeous, open aired, clean. In love. It took me forever to find Amy!! I used to go to her at a different location, and couldn't figure out where she moved to. Had to be an FBI agent to find her! But so worth it! Super happy for these sisters to own their own salon. But I'm so sad this place hasn't picked up as much foot traffic as it deserves! Amy and Julia are the sweetest! I love how detail oriented Amy is! I have no complaints! I'm sure this place will be booked and busy, so definitely call or reach out to them on IG. I got a dip mani and pedicure done for the first time . I am very impressed and satisfied . I love how they did such a great job with detail on my my nails. I've been getting my nails done by Julia and Amy for over 2 years. From National City to PB to Mission Valley and now to their own shop in Poway. They are friendly and easy to talk to. Their work is amazing. They would make sure I like the lengths and art that are on my nails before going to the next steps every time. Very talented ladies. Worth my 25 minutes drive. Highly recommend!! read more

I would highly recommend coming here. I didn't have an appointment but called ahead & was able to get in within half hour. Julia and Amy are very friendly. They does an amazing job on my nails. The gel x application is very clean, even, last long but doesn't damage my natural nails. The salon is very new and clean. There are so many colors you can be creative with the design. This nail salon is amazing! Julia and Amy are so friendly and their work is the best. Julia puts in the effort to talk to me and get to know me. It makes me want to get my nails done more often so that we can catch up. She always perfects the nail designs I show her and always asks if I like it before moving on to the next nail.
