Sophia Nails and Spa is truly the best nail salon I have ever been to. The space itself is warm, welcoming, and beautifully cozy, creating such a relaxing experience from the moment you walk in. Every member of the staff is kind and attentive, which makes each visit feel special. I always see Emily for my manicures, and she has never once disappointed me. She has been doing my nails for over a year now, including my engagement and wedding nails, and her work is nothing short of exceptional. Emily is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and truly passionate about what she does. What I appreciate most is how much she genuinely cares about her clients. She always wants you to leave completely happy, and even when I'm unsure of what I want, she comes up with beautiful ideas that I end up loving every time. All of the photos I've included are her work, and they speak for themselves. If you visit this salon, you truly can't go wrong with anyone on the team--but I highly, highly recommend Emily. read more

I have to say this was the worst nail salon experience I've had in years. The technician did not properly file or shape my nails, and several of my fingers were cut during the process, which was both painful and concerning. When removing my old gel, she relied heavily on an e-file and went far too close to my natural nails, despite me specifically asking her not to. That request was ignored. Additionally, my cuticles were never properly addressed before the gel application. When I pointed this out, I was told that the product she was using works "backwards" and that cuticles could be handled after applying hard gel, which does not align with standard nail prep and felt dismissive. The service overall felt rushed and incomplete--no finishing care like a massage was provided. Between the poor technique, lack of communication, and disregard for my requests, I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon. read more

This is my 2nd time to this nail salon and the first time was ok but felt rushed. I recently went in with an appointment and we had to wait 15 min to be seen. The original lady they gave me refused to do my nails because I requested French gel pedicure like my last time.I had to ask her numerous times to trim my nails shorter and each time she cut my nails crooked. When I asked her to fix the shape she seemed annoyed and kept speaking to the other lady's as if I was asking for something difficult. How hard is ur to trim my toes evenly. She kept asking throughout the process is it ok and from view it was still uneven and the white French polish uneven but she didn't listen to me and even cut my nails down too short and uneven. It was only when I got home and took an up close picture did I see that it was a terrible job, uneven nails, uneven polish and she cut my skin and nails too short on the sides. I won't be returning to see Nicole. Def not worth the $75 I paid read more

I don't know if the ownership has changed, but this was a truly terrible experience. I got French nails done, but they were poorly executed -- uneven and messy. When I politely asked for a fix, the receptionist raised her voice and got angry with me in front of other customers. It was extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. To make it worse, they even asked for a tip, and I ended up giving 15%. Honestly, they didn't deserve it. The quality of the service was way below standard. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been coming to Sophia Nails for awhile now and they are the only ones I trust to do my nails. The quality of their products is consistent and everyone who has provided me service has always been great. Today Jane and Ray did my nails and I felt so relaxed after a hard day at work. I've been going to Sophia Nails & Spa starting this year, my nail tech Tina just moved over there from another salon. The nail salon itself is so cute and inviting, I love the vibrant decor and just overall a cozy place, it is also very clean and staff are very friendly. I usually just get a pedicure and sometimes a full set. But Tina is amazing! There's just something about how she does the pedicure, it lasts forever and looks so nice and I can say that, after I've been going to her for a few years now. I usually do the regular or deluxe pedi and it is so relaxing with the massage. Highly recommend her! There is a difference. When I went last week I got a pedicure and gel-x full set work chrome and french tips and it turned out so beautiful! The picture does not do justice. The price is also fair, I definitely pay for the quality. 5/5! read more

I just read a negative review of Sophia Nails and wholeheartedly disagree. I am sorry to read that this customer was not happy. I would like to pass on that my experiences have always been top notch. Kudos to my nail gal Emily, she is truly an artist. I have been with her for a decade now and have always been taken care of by her. She is one of the kindest people and she always makes time for me. In fact she knows me so well that when I come she has 2 bottles of h2o immediately available. Like I said great customer service. A shout out to Cathy as well. Ladies if your looking for an excellent pedicure with massage, she your person. The massage is to die for! If you're looking for an outstanding beauty service Sophia Nails is it. Calm and very clean environment, workers always friendly and cheerful. A shout out to the manager, she really runs a lovely business. read more

I had an extremely unprofessional and upsetting experience at this salon. I specifically booked an appointment with a particular nail technician. When I arrived, I was assigned someone else without explanation. When I calmly expressed concern about not receiving the technician I booked, the woman who was originally assigned became upset and refused to do my nails altogether. They then reassigned me to another technician who clearly did not have the skill or experience to perform the service I requested, and the quality of the work was very poor. The behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable. Multiple technicians spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive manner throughout the appointment. When I attempted to raise concerns, I was gaslit and told that I was being loud and angry, when the raised voices and aggression were coming from the staff. At one point, the situation became so uncomfortable that other customers had to step in and tell the staff to leave me alone. That alone speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and management at this salon. There was no effort to de-escalate the situation or provide basic customer service. Appointments should be honored, and customers should never be treated this way. I will not be returning and do not recommend this business read more

I recently started going to this nail salon; the service started off great but with each visit, my experiences became worse. My last visit, my pedicure turned out terrible! I not only had nail polish all over my toes but the application was crooked and spotty. My manicure was equally horrible! I like my nails to be short and curved - they were ALL uneven. The young lady that did my service was rude and really rough! If you do not like working in customer service, you shouldn't work there! I will never go back and I will make sure my friends and family are aware of the BAD service provided here! read more

Came here last week for the first time. The place is very spacious and clean. No one greeted me when I first walked in until maybe after a min or 2. The owner came out and she was friendly and I was seated after a few minutes. I was seated just in time for my appt. They offered me a beverage which I appreciated and thought it was a great little personable touch that not all salons offer. They were kind and made some suggestions on color. The length of time was about expected and my manicurist was very friendly. The chairs were also comfortable. I will say, the manicure wasn't exactly how I like it although they did listen to what I personably like. I'll admit I am rather nit-picky when it comes to manicures and I need to have them done a certain way for work. My cuticles could have been cleaner/neater and the painting job wasn't exactly even. The thumbs were not painted to the cuticle line which is a bit disappointing because they grow quickly and I'd like for them to last at least a full 2 weeks. They were however, cut and filed nicely. I will give them another shot and try another manicurist that the owner had recommended. Will update after! read more

Today, I asked for the $40 Signature Pedicure. I went to pay, and was charged $55. I told Annie I was told it was $40. Annie said I got gel. I said I didn't ask for gel. Annie said to the service provider that she needs to ask the customer first, before adding on any extras. I paid the $55. Paid 15% tip, which was more than the 15% on $40. Instead of paying $46 with tip, I paid over $63 with tip. It's the end ofnthe month, and I don't have extra money. This was a set up. There was no apology. I feel hijacked. Scammed. If I was asked for gel, I would have said no. Now, regarding the actual pedicure, invasion fantastic. I give it 5 stars. Because of the add-on scam, I give customer service and ethics a 1 star. Because my experience involved finance scam, I am giving a 1 star. It's unfortunate. If you go, be sure to tell them what you want and CLEARLY say, "no add ons." This was my first time here. I was recommended by a family member. read more

Public service announcement: 90% of these reviews are from when the previous owners ran this establishment. Bullet points: 1) Don't let Apple (Manager) touch your nails. 2) Don't make an appointment, Apple doesn't honor them. Walk-in's come first, in her eyes. It takes A LOT of aggravation for me to write a poor review. I value small businesses. I loved the previous owner (Kimmy) because she was timely and she wasn't fake. I've given this place 4 times to redeem itself. I'm done. Two times, Apple (Manager) touched my gel nails, I had to come back the next day because the gel was peeling off. Apple claims it was the gel light machines. This is inaccurate because she used different machines each time. ‍ Apple is a horrific time manager for her employees, I feel for them. The two times I have made appointments, my gal was thick into other services when I arrived on time. Once Apple called me to mention that she (Holly) was running late before an appointment (approximately 15 minutes) but it turned out to be 45 minutes. I had to leave and go home. You can buy all the fancy nail devices, massage chairs, manicure tables, a big screen TV, 500 nail colors, libations or alcohol. This can't buy you legitimate customer service and the ability to do nails well. I was on time. I paid in cash. I was loyal. Go and see the other ladies, they all do phenomenal work. The place is very pretty but but be leery of Apple. read more
