[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was pretty good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came around 5 pm as a walk in and luckily they weren't busy, just one other client.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But then a few min later a couple more people came so one of them had to wait. Got the regular mani/pedi. This place was a bit cheaper than the last place I went. They did a great job on the nails, however we when she was cleaning out the area behind my thumb nail I think she got too deep so my finger hurts a bit. They had a couple tv's - one with the cooking show on one and a video of the Maldives on loop. I was basically a walk-in but called ahead from Yelp, and while I waited for maybe 10, I just went next door and grabbed a Ban Mi sandwich. The service was outstanding. They spend a lot of time with you and when you're done you're not rushed out the door. Absolutely love their warming demeanor, friendly gestures, and just kind conversations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are excellent at what they do and as someone who doesnt get their nails often, i needed recommendations and they were open to showing me what looks good (funny bunny or a different pink) without me feeling like i'm taking their time. Ladies & gentlemen if you're looking for a place to get a pedicure, schedule it here. It's very relaxing & they go all out using scrubs/lotion's. Vicky let me use the massage chair after my services were finished since she did my mani during the pedi and didn't want to interfere with her work I'm assuming. This salon just keeps getting better all the time! Has always been very clean and welcoming, but last year they upgraded their pedicure loungers and this year they have new manicure stations with great lighting. It's nice to receive friendly, professional service in a shop that prides itself in maintaining nice and comfortable standards! I usually see Lisa, (fantastic!), but recently Vicky helped me and she was great, too! Give this place a try...you can't go wrong! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]They chose money over customer satisfaction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am extremely disappointed because they did not honor a $40 gift certificate that was a little older. It is a law in California that gift certificates and gift cards DO NOT EXPIRE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were not even willing to give any discount or any accommodation so I had to pay unexpectedly and they DID NOT CARE.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Infuriating. Before that point the service was good but I will not be going back ever. read more

I had a dip mani. In less than a week, the top coat started peeling off. Just the top coat. The…read moretechnician removed the top coat, put a new top coat then proceeded to add a white gel. Mind you, I had a dip not gel. I asked what is she doing and she told me the white dip was not a good one and think the gel is better. If so she should have taken off the dip instead of doing a band aid solution. Or given me a choice of another color dip. A week later, three nails had the whole tip come off like they were tips. I glued them back on since I was out of town. Came in when the fourth one came off to address the issue. The solution was to just glue the nail back on. Asked for the owner and was told he/she is not available nor can I call him/her. This is not acceptable to me that the business owner cannot be reached nor the solution to just glue the nail back on. Not coming back!

I showed the nail tech an example and chose a brown cat-eye color, but I ended up with an ugly, dusty rose light pink instead. She only applied one coat of the cat-eye gel, so I'm not sure if that's why the brown never showed up. She also wasn't drying my nails properly, which is why my pinky nail is messed up in the photo. I even asked her if the color was brown, and she said yes. The whole appointment felt rushed, and the quality really wasn't great. The best part..... I was charged $85 for this. Update from response from owner: when I had brought up the nails not being fully dried nail tech said they were and when nail color was brought up I was told it was a brown.

I originally posted a review on April regarding the last visit I had right before New Years. I had been going to Nikki for about 2 years and was always happy and pleased with my nails. However, on the last visit I had I wasn't too pleased and I simply did not return. Months later I decide why not post about my experience? Well shortly after I was being texted and messaged through my Social media, even after blocking Nikki she got a different number to keep texting me. After Codie's story I realized I made a mistake in deleting that for future potential customers. I am licensed in Cosmetology and know state regulations for hair as well as nails. I've had my license for 10 years and am well aware of products and what not to use. My nails were left in such bad shape I couldn't get acrylics for 8 months! I barely had them done ( else where) after them being so fragile from me having to file them off. read more

I absolutely love coming here to get my nails done! They do such a wonderful job cleaning up my cuticles and making sure everything looks perfect, even under the nails. Nikki is so awesome she always does my nails the way I want them. Even when I bring a picture to her she does it the same way. Love the way she is with me and I loved how when I first went with her she was super nice we traded numbers and from there I made appointments through her and she always remembered me and the last conversation we had, now that is an amazing person. At first I went to a busy busy location but this new location is fabulous it's small and quiet not a lot of people which is what I always look for. read more

Pedicures are great! Gel manicures are not. I went in months ago. The woman sanded the previous gel polish off so much she ended up sanding down my nails-it hurt! My nails ended up brittle and breaking for about 4 months until the new nails grew in because she had sanded them so thin. I only come here now for a last minute pedicure because its close to my house. But I will NOT let them touch my hands. Ruined my nails and the gel product at the end wasn't that great either. read more

I've been to several nail salons in San Marcos. This salon is by far the best. You can probably find one that is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Nikki does my nails and I have never had a nail break. She listens and always does them just how I like them. They have new pedi chairs and all the girls are very professional. It's clean and that is always something I look for. Like I said the best in San Marcos!! read more

Nikki does my nails and I am always impressed with the quality of her work. My gel stays perfect, despite growing out of course, right up until my next appointment. Plus, she is very careful with her tools. Many times I have been cut or scratched by a nail tech who is too rough, and I never have that problem with Nikki. I took it as a sign and decided to stop in and give it a try. Saturday afternoons can be hectic in the manicure and pedicure business, so I wasn't sure what my chances were. The chairs were full, but I was pleasantly told the wait would only be about 15 minutes. I had barely sat down when I was escorted to one of their new, comfortable vibrating chairs and invited to soak my feet in a perfectly warm, whirlpool bath. The shop isn't large, but it is modern, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. My hostess, Ellie, soon began what turned out to be the most enjoyable and comforting pedicure my tired size 14 1/2 EEE feet have ever experienced. I relaxed through the massage and pampering, nearly falling asleep from the sheer comfort of the treatment. Next came my manicure, which was equally impressive--without question, the best I have ever had. During my visit, I enjoyed a refreshing conversation with Ellie.
