I have found my new favorite nail salon! I've had my nails done by 3 talented technicians here at nailed it : Nicole, Tiffany, and Maya. All of which have been amazing experiences. Each one had their own style and techniques however, all of them were very meticulous and gentle. I can tell that each technician here is highly trained and will pay close attention to detail. They listen to what the customer wants while also sharing ideas of their own (which I truly appreciate!) From builder gel, to gel x, to painless polish removal; this is the place to be for great service and very fair prices I may add! I can't wait for my next set!

I have been to this salon several times and have loved it until this most recent time. Super disappointing because it was convenient and everyone was nice. I would still highly recommend it IF you don't have natural nails and you are getting gel or acrylic. Don't go here if you have natural nails. I went for a basic mani and pedi. I always do pedis there and have had 1 mani there before. This time she used a drill on my natural nails . I should have spoken up once she started but I thought maybe it was a super fine grit or a buffer on it or something and would be ok. It was not ok. My nails are now thin and weak. She also used a drill at my cuticles and that left a line on each of my nails. They look terrible and it will be months before it's fully grown out. A drill should never be used on natural nails. It's like she was prepping me for acrylics and not doing a proper manicure. Sad and disappointed.

I've been to this nail salon twice and both times they out did themselves. The salon is immaculate, and they used new, sterile supplies. They were very meticulous with shaping my nails, and made sure each nail was clear of dead skin. Maya did my first visit and Nicole did my second. Both were pleasant and did not try to upsale me with extra add-ons. This is a hidden gem in Lake San Marcos, and I will be back! They definitely NAILED IT!

What a little gem. I absolutely loved my experience here, the ladies were so sweet and even chatted with me. (Personally, I love it when people talk to me rather than awkward silence). I got builder gel - a rose pink with cats eyes and it was so gorgeous. I was the type to get my nails done for special occasions like vacations or other events where presentation matters but perhaps I might be starting to make it a more regular occasion. Walked in and was greeted asked what I wanted done. I told her I just need some gel removed off of my nails. I'm staying in the area one night and away from my normal nail salon. Anyway once I said just to get gel removed she immediately said " oh no available " I was like ok... when do you have available? She said "just no available", pretending to look at her computer. It's 10am I could come back at anytime but it was clear she didn't want to service me probably because I wasn't asking for a large service. I said "so you just don't want to service me because I'm just getting gel removed?" And she stumbled over her words saying appointments and I could look at her computer. I turned around and walked out. Very disappointing I just needed a quick service as my nails are breaking. This is just a warning for those who live in this area. read more

Easy to make an appointment and a clean salon. I had some issues with my tech being a little rough for my pedicure and had tender toes and bleeding as I was leaving. I've had ingrown nails removed before without a lot of pain or discomfort (sure, it's not GREAT, but it was a bit extra here). I didn't plan on leaving a from a pedicure with Neosporin applied to my toes! I still left a generous tip but not sure I'm comfortable returning to this location. read more

I found this salon after getting bad service at another salon and I am so happy I found this gem near Lake San Marcos. This nice salon is kept clean and is very comfortable. Nicole and her daughter, Maya, own this new salon. Nicole was so gentle with my acrylic nails and offered solutions to my nail problems. She recommended a more natural - Builder Gel. I am so happy to no longer have acrylic on my nails. Both Nicoole and Maya are very friendly and experts in this business. First of all, I have tried about six different nail salon places (with high reviews) in Carlsbad and San Marcos. But none of them worked out. I am very particular and expect good quality service. You will definitely get that at Nailed It. I was able to make an appointment for Builder Gel mani and gel pedi about a week out. I had previously gotten builder gel at La Costa Nail and Spa since they assured me it would last a lot longer than regular gel. It lasted less than a week. They did a horrible job. But Maya at Nailed It assured me that it's not supposed to be like that. And then she took the time to do my nails the right way. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! So clean and meticulous. She took great care to make them look gorgeous and healthy. Nicole did my pedi. The nail on one of my big toes had broken at midpoint. Nicole built it up to make it equal length as my other one. I didn't think it would even be possible! She did a very thorough job with the pedi as well. They were both SUPER nice. The place is VERY clean. They use sterilized equipment and best of all, it's a family business owned by mother and daughter. They speak fluent English- a huge plus to communicate what you want. They do not try to upsell you. Their prices are VERY reasonable and more than fair. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. You're not going to go wrong by trying out Nailed It. Only bad thing- with it becoming more popular, I'm gonna have to book more in advance now. read more

His massages are as if he works at an expensive spa - like actually massages and not just rubs the lotion on like most other places. I love that he doesn't do small talk and is efficient but careful. These massage chairs give me life. They all speak perfect English, which makes the whole process so much easier. Everyone is super nice and they're so easy to schedule with by text. I've referred many people here who are equally satisfied with their service. People on here complain their polish chipped early but they're happy to fix it for you if you go back in and tell them what happened. They have almost no turnover so everyone gets along and it's just a good vibe there. One area of improvement - the horrible television programs they always have on the tv. Weird music videos of one direction/Taylor swift or a weird cooking channel that's like always showing how sausage is made. It's a lose lose situation whatever screen you look at.
