Walked in and was greeted asked what I wanted done. I told her I just need some gel removed off of my nails. I'm staying in the area one night and away from my normal nail salon. Anyway once I said just to get gel removed she immediately said " oh no available " I was like ok... when do you have available? She said "just no available", pretending to look at her computer. It's 10am I could come back at anytime but it was clear she didn't want to service me probably because I wasn't asking for a large service. I said "so you just don't want to service me because I'm just getting gel removed?" And she stumbled over her words saying appointments and I could look at her computer. I have been to this salon several times and have loved it until this most recent time. Super disappointing because it was convenient and everyone was nice. I would still highly recommend it IF you don't have natural nails and you are getting gel or acrylic. Don't go here if you have natural nails. I went for a basic mani and pedi. I always do pedis there and have had 1 mani there before. This time she used a drill on my natural nails . I should have spoken up once she started but I thought maybe it was a super fine grit or a buffer on it or something and would be ok. It was not ok. My nails are now thin and weak. She also used a drill at my cuticles and that left a line on each of my nails. They look terrible and it will be months before it's fully grown out. A drill should never be used on natural nails. It's like she was prepping me for acrylics and not doing a proper manicure. Sad and disappointed. read more

Easy to make an appointment and a clean salon. I had some issues with my tech being a little rough for my pedicure and had tender toes and bleeding as I was leaving. I've had ingrown nails removed before without a lot of pain or discomfort (sure, it's not GREAT, but it was a bit extra here). I didn't plan on leaving a from a pedicure with Neosporin applied to my toes! I still left a generous tip but not sure I'm comfortable returning to this location. read more

This place is a new little gem!! my niece did gel on my nails and after a day, it started chipping and being annoying so I had to get them off. I went here and they were able to get me in right away. I got the gel taken off and just nail polish on and whatever nail polish they use is absolutely incredible because it's been on for about three weeks now and still barely is chipped!!! I'm now doing an experiment to see how long it will last but at this rate, it looks like my nails are going to grow out before it starts actually chipping and looking bad. 10/10 recommend!! read more

First of all, I have tried about six different nail salon places (with high reviews) in Carlsbad and San Marcos. But none of them worked out. I am very particular and expect good quality service. You will definitely get that at Nailed It. I was able to make an appointment for Builder Gel mani and gel pedi about a week out. I had previously gotten builder gel at La Costa Nail and Spa since they assured me it would last a lot longer than regular gel. It lasted less than a week. They did a horrible job. But Maya at Nailed It assured me that it's not supposed to be like that. And then she took the time to do my nails the right way. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! So clean and meticulous. She took great care to make them look gorgeous and healthy. Nicole did my pedi. The nail on one of my big toes had broken at midpoint. Nicole built it up to make it equal length as my other one. I didn't think it would even be possible! She did a very thorough job with the pedi as well. They were both SUPER nice. The place is VERY clean. They use sterilized equipment and best of all, it's a family business owned by mother and daughter. They speak fluent English- a huge plus to communicate what you want. They do not try to upsell you.
