I walked in to this salon and was able to snag the last appointment of the day thankfully!! I was having a rough day and wanted to treat myself to a simple gel mani and regular pedi. The vibe in the salon was great! All of the ladies working in the shop were so fun and upbeat and chatty. The environment was great and it made me feel better after having a hard day. The salon interior is also clean and tidy. The gel mani was done by Tory. She is so detailed. I can tell she has very high standards for her work and is very skilled. She was precise and I noticed that she paid extra attention to cleaning up the gel with a brush to make sure it didn't get on my skin. Her attention to detail can be rare to find at other salons. I don't have pictures of my pedicure but it was okay - I didn't love how my nails were shaped but it was fine and the polish stayed on for a long time which was great. The pedicure was good overall. So the manicure itself was actually okay, I am however used to more of an elongated pampering experience when it comes to manicures. Especially when you're paying $55 for them. I will say the polish doesn't go completely to the edges of the nail, but it is what it is. She did a good job . The reason for the 3 stars is due to the customer service element. When I walked in the employees were whispering/talking amongst themselves about a client/coworker that was currently in the salon sitting directly behind me. I don't mind if you need to talk about something going on in the workplace, but that is hardly something to discuss directly in front of the client you are working on. I would suggest calling ahead to have someone do your money and somebody to do your petty so you're not sitting there for 2 1/2 to 3 hours with just one person. I booked an appointment as a surprise for my partner and specifically chose Mandy, the owner, because of all the glowing reviews she has on Yelp. Their booking system allows you to select a specific technician, and Mandy's reputation was the main reason I chose this salon. Unfortunately, when my partner arrived, she was seen by someone else without any explanation or heads-up. Had I known she wouldn't be seen by Mandy, I likely would've booked elsewhere. She got Gel-X nails done today, and there's already a visible bubble under one of the thumbnails. While it's too soon to say what will happen, bubbles like that can lead to lifting, and potentially trap moisture, which increases the risk of bacterial growth over time. On top of that, the French tip design turned out much thicker than expected and wasn't the clean, delicate look we were going for. If your system allows clients to choose who they book with, that choice should be honored--or at the very least communicated in advance. Just wanted to share this experience so others know what to expect. read more

I chose the honey and milk for my massage and soak .. this line uses disposable cloth to wipe your legs down so you know you're getting a sanitary treatment . I chose the gel manicure as you can see she did a phenomenal job. The color they chose was really pretty and I absolutely love it.. in the salon just advertise your therapy session. We talked about everything from zodiacs to the passing of my dog and we all love our animals.... The music was really relaxing. You could talk or not talk the massage chairs are fab and work . UPDATE: MY RIGHT FOOT IS SUPER ITCHY, never in my consistent 8 years of pedis has this happened. Tourist here, wanted to enjoy a day of papering. Unfortunately the service I received was extremely overpriced for the quality. $150 for nails and toes! I hesitated to write this review but after trying to speak to the owner who was not professional when I did try to speak to her I felt it was necessary. She brought up all the bills she has to pay which was irrelevant to the matter. My nails unfortunately do not look like the quality that I was charged and I asked for coffin gel x. I felt bad telling the girl to fix them because when I did, I can tell it was just going to get worse. Underneath my nails the is so much build up of glue that it's uncomfortable. My right hand does not look like my left hand and there is bubbles and scratches of the paint. The atmosphere was ok but definitely nothing spa like to have the prices that they do. read more

I went in for my wedding nails. Normally I'd never spend $110 on a manicure but wedding nails are special! Overall the manicure turned out similar enough to the inspo photo. My only complaint is I asked her to make sure all the nails match, but my pinky on the right hand is pointed to the right instead of straight which has been bothering me since day 1. I didn't have time to get it fixed before my wedding but I am still pretty happy with my manicure. I will be getting them filled asap so my nails are straight. read more

I wouldn't recommend this business. The person who I had an appointment ran approximately 15 to 20 minutes late. The business required a $60 cover charge. Then it took her two plus hours to complete. Needless to say, the person who was picking me up wasn't happy waiting 30 minutes past the time estimated. The cost of this full gel set was approximately $100. My usual service provider charges approximately $75 and to date, I've never had a problem of this magnitude. The product started coming off within two days after applied. By the end of first week most of the product was gone. I have to say, I've never experienced this before and I've had this service over 50 years and completed by a number of different people, who applied first acrylic and than for the past 5 years, the product has been gel. Unfortunately, I was in Canada, when this happened. So I wasn't able to go back and get this problem "repaired." read more

Not entirely sure I'd recommend this salon. The vibes were good but the 2 techs the day I went (May 25) weren't able to perform the service I wanted. I had previously called the salon to specifically ask for hard gel extensions without tips and was told they could do it. Once I arrived the techs didn't understand what I wanted and I ended up with hard gel with tips, although not what I wanted, I couldn't afford to wait any longer for my nails. The price wasn't great, $100 + tip, I asked for almond hard gel with French. The nail shape and size are off and maybe I'm a perfectionist, but I had to go home and file the nails myself some more. I had already spent over an hour and a half at the salon and didn't want to stay any longer. The French manicure was also bad, crooked on some fingers, thinner on some more than others and to top it off, the polish and gel on one of my fingers already chipped and it hasn't been a week! The techs were nice, but had I known this would've been the result, I would've opted to pay more at a different salon just to achieve the simple manicure I wanted. read more
