I walked in to this salon and was able to snag the last appointment of the day thankfully!! I was having a rough day and wanted to treat myself to a simple gel mani and regular pedi. The vibe in the salon was great! All of the ladies working in the shop were so fun and upbeat and chatty. The environment was great and it made me feel better after having a hard day. The salon interior is also clean and tidy. The gel mani was done by Tory. She is so detailed. I can tell she has very high standards for her work and is very skilled. She was precise and I noticed that she paid extra attention to cleaning up the gel with a brush to make sure it didn't get on my skin. Her attention to detail can be rare to find at other salons. I don't have pictures of my pedicure but it was okay - I didn't love how my nails were shaped but it was fine and the polish stayed on for a long time which was great. The pedicure was good overall. This was definitely the best nail salon I've tried in north county and I will have to come back another time. read more

The girls who worked on my mani/pedi were all really nice, lovely, and sweet, but they are severely undertrained. For $130, I expected better. The manicure left large gaps on the sides, and I had to keep directing the filing to get my nails even because she kept filing them crooked. Also, NEVER have I gotten a pedicure where they didn't rinse off my feet after working on the heels. After doing my heel, she put my foot back in the water without rinsing. My foot was swimming in dead skin while she worked on the other foot, and then asked me to put the other in and well, you get the point. It was nauseating and absolutely vile. I didn't say anything because they already looked like they were trying their best, but they clearly need better direction and training Not only was this bad, but one of the girls who works there was more than snarky with the other emloyees which was ugly enough to witness, but she had just finished doing someone's manicure when she went to heat up some food and then sat behind her desk eating it in front of everyone and being very loud. I absolulty did not come there for the (it think her name started with an N) the N show. I can see that the owner is writing to people asking them to come back, but please don't ask me to do that. Those poor girls need your guidance more than you need my businsess. read more

So the manicure itself was actually okay, I am however used to more of an elongated pampering experience when it comes to manicures. Especially when you're paying $55 for them. I will say the polish doesn't go completely to the edges of the nail, but it is what it is. She did a good job . The reason for the 3 stars is due to the customer service element. When I walked in the employees were whispering/talking amongst themselves about a client/coworker that was currently in the salon sitting directly behind me. I don't mind if you need to talk about something going on in the workplace, but that is hardly something to discuss directly in front of the client you are working on. Super impressed and probably the best gel manicure and pedicure I've had in a long time. I called at 2:45 and they were able to get me in at 3:30. Tori did an amazing job on my nails. Knocked it out of the park for exactly what I was looking for. I gave her a rough idea of what I was trying to achieve and she helped me get exactly what I was looking for. Isabella did an amazing job on my pedicure too. Both had such attention to detail. No pressure environment either and both checked in regularly on pressure for massage as well as the cut, color, and finished product. Not cheap but worth every penny. Worst experience I've had at a nail salon. First of the gal doing my nails had no idea what she was doing. Asked to have an ingrown nail taken out of the left toe she was fully stumped at the question. Also they don't give you menus to pick your pedicure. You just ask for the basic and they charge you $75. This is absurd. Go to color nails across the street for $35. This place is a scam and has a supper weird vibe. read more

Booking online made it very easy, but you're not allowed to book 2 people at the same time. I would suggest calling ahead to have someone do your money and somebody to do your petty so you're not sitting there for 2 1/2 to 3 hours with just one person. Everyone was extremely nice and the shop is really cute. However, the polish that is used is not the best quality and started to chip within two days on several nails. read more

Their booking system allows you to select a specific technician, and Mandy's reputation was the main reason I chose this salon. Unfortunately, when my partner arrived, she was seen by someone else without any explanation or heads-up. Had I known she wouldn't be seen by Mandy, I likely would've booked elsewhere. She got Gel-X nails done today, and there's already a visible bubble under one of the thumbnails. While it's too soon to say what will happen, bubbles like that can lead to lifting, and potentially trap moisture, which increases the risk of bacterial growth over time. On top of that, the French tip design turned out much thicker than expected and wasn't the clean, delicate look we were going for. If your system allows clients to choose who they book with, that choice should be honored--or at the very least communicated in advance. Just wanted to share this experience so others know what to expect. read more

I requested a deluxe pedicure that wind up being the best experience of my life! My pedicurist gave the best little massage. I chose the honey and milk for my massage and soak .. this line uses disposable cloth to wipe your legs down so you know you're getting a sanitary treatment . I chose the gel manicure as you can see she did a phenomenal job. The color they chose was really pretty and I absolutely love it.. in the salon just advertise your therapy session. We talked about everything from zodiacs to the passing of my dog and we all love our animals.... The music was really relaxing. You could talk or not talk the massage chairs are fab and work . UPDATE: MY RIGHT FOOT IS SUPER ITCHY, never in my consistent 8 years of pedis has this happened. Tourist here, wanted to enjoy a day of papering. Unfortunately the service I received was extremely overpriced for the quality. $150 for nails and toes! I hesitated to write this review but after trying to speak to the owner who was not professional when I did try to speak to her I felt it was necessary. She brought up all the bills she has to pay which was irrelevant to the matter. My nails unfortunately do not look like the quality that I was charged and I asked for coffin gel x. I felt bad telling the girl to fix them because when I did, I can tell it was just going to get worse. Underneath my nails the is so much build up of glue that it's uncomfortable. My right hand does not look like my left hand and there is bubbles and scratches of the paint. The atmosphere was ok but definitely nothing spa like to have the prices that they do. read more
