I have gone to this place and have seen Tara twice. She does an amazing job on my nails. She takes her time and is amazing artist. My nana passed away a few weeks ago and her funeral is this Saturday. She loved getting her nails done. I wanted to add her favorite flower to one of my nails, a gardenia. These flowers are very intricate and I wasn't sure if the design would come out nicely. I told Tara if it's too difficult not to worry and she didn't even question the design she just said she will try. While that first visit was ok, we decided to come back to get it removed with no gel or polish as we like to take breaks in between. When we said we just want gel removal, the pressure was on to get another gel. We kept saying no and then they said we could get just get regular nail polish. We said no again. That's when the mood changed. Almost angry we didn't want another manicure. We should've just walked out as I had a feeling the service was going to be less than great. I had no idea I would be "punished" for not getting another manicure. This is was the absolute WORST gel removal of all time! My nails are so bad, thin, shelling, breaking daily! I wanted to get my nails done for a retirement party. I rarely ever get my nails done, maybe once or twice a year, so it was a big deal. The girl was already being rough with pushing down my cuticles. It was hurting even before she cut me. She hurt me a couple times more before I finally just got up and left. Didn't even make it past the third finger. Now I'm not getting my nails done for the special occasion because my cuticles on one hand are damaged and sore and I don't want to risk an infection. He deserves more recognition, a bonus and promotion for providing excellent customer service and quality service! I am providing 4 stars only because although Adam was amazing, he had to step out which I was totally understanding of! But having been left with the rest of his team , they made me feel a bit rushed out the door. The gentlemen who was left to finish my nails, placed a clear polish on top and I asked if it was necessary to dry he said no but in my experience most workers would allow me too. He said I was done, so by that point I made my way out. Therefore I highly recommend Adam and hope his team learns from his leadership! Got a pedicure and gel manicure here on a Saturday and by Monday, my toenails were already chipping and by Wednesday the gel on my nails was already peeling off. Not to mention my cuticles did not get trimmed very well. At other salons, my pedicure lasts up to 4 weeks with no chipping and a gel manicure lasts at least 2 weeks before beginning to peel. Very disappointing to pay over $80 and have polish coming off within a matter of days. Won't be back. read more

Vibe was good, parking is plentiful. Price is affordable (~$40ish for gel, no removal) I wasn't too impressed with the service though. The girl who did my nails was very Sh t. She asked me what I wanted, and I told her that I wanted something almond shaped and showed her a picture of my exact nails from previous. She then went ahead and cut my nails and shaped them in around shape versus an almond. And also a lot shorter than I had requested. After I told her, I wanted an almond again, after she did two of my nails, and she said it was too late because it was already too short... I just asked her if she could do the other nails in almond shape instead. ‍ Also, I have never had my gel nails start to come off before. The edges started to lift a bit only 4 days after I got them done!!! I don't know if it was not cared enough, if there were too many layers, I'm not a nail professional... But this has never happened to me before. Likely will not be coming back here again , at least anytime soon. I came in around 10:40am today as a walk in and told the receptionist I only had about two hours and I wanted to see what we could manage in that timeframe. Receptionist asked me between manicure and pedicure which one was most important to get done today if they didn't have time for both which I really appreciated. Knowing I'd at least get some of what I needed done and that they were prioritizing me as a walk-in was really thoughtful. Helen did my pedicure and I didn't catch the manicurists name but they were both wonderful. There was a small bubble on a thumb nail I pointed out when my manicure was done and they fixed it quickly without complaint and apologized. There was music playing which was calming and a silent movie with subtitles that kept my adhd happy while I was there. All in all 10/10 experience. read more

Gel nails are supposed to last for 2 weeks or more. One thing I noticed is that they like to leave the bottom of your nail unpainted so that they look grown out faster. Too bad for them I can do my own nails. Better luck next time. I asked for a French gel pedicure, and I was refused, saying my toenails are too short. I've had dozens of other salons do them with my nails even shorter. The paint job I got instead was sloppy. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars, because I came at a busy time. Had been coming here for several months and was very happy...then came in for a manicure (remove dip and get gel) and a basic pedicure. The pedicure was going fine then my manicure started...instead of applying acetone to remove the dip she began chipping and pulling off the polish. It was ripping off which was painful and then I asked what she was doing. She then applied the acetone and wrapped the remaining nails. The gel lasted 2 days and my nails began breaking and splitting which has never happened before. After 5 days five of my nails looked like garbage. So disappointed. read more

This place is a fiasco if you want Gel-X Nails. First I went to a lady named Ruby. I asked for long stiletto-shaped gel-x nails. She brought almond shaped ones and when I brought it up, she said they didn't have stiletto shaped extensions and that she would file the almond ones to look stiletto. But then she got upset and raised her voice at me because I kept asking her to file them to the correct shape even though it wasn't my fault they didn't have the right shaped nail to begin with. That's the whole point of Gel X tips. They're already come pretty much the right shape you want them to be. We mutually decided I would try a different nail tech next time. The next time I went in for a gel-x set I got a lady by the name of Yen. This time I asked for coffin shaped gel-x nails, hoping to avoid the same fiasco as last time and knowing stiletto nails were off the table. Yen put on long square shaped nails that are much longer than coffin shaped nails. When I pointed this out, she swore she was using long coffin shaped nails even though I knew they weren't the right ones. The nails Yen put on started popping off like chiclets a week later. I had to go in for a repair to put one nail back on and this time Holly helped me. Holly was finally the person who put the right shape on - long, coffin shaped Gel X. Sitting next to my other nails it was clear Yen had put on the wrong shape to begin with. A few days later a few more of the nails Yen put on popped off. I have never had the experience of my Gel X coming off the way it did here. Each time I paid $100-120 for a new set of Gel X nails + gratuity. Today I paid another $25 + gratuity to have them removed so I could just be done with this place. read more

BUT - I liked the salon itself. Lots of colors, larger establishment, good chairs, clean and modern, good prices. So I read a bunch of reviews and picked Kay for my pedicure and next visit ~~ She is amazing. Gentle, but very thorough, massage is great and she pays attention to detail. I'm in love! I've been back to her twice now and I am very very happy! She doesn't know it, but, I'm all hers : ) Please give this place a try and please ask for Kay!
