Ivy is truly the BEST!! I have been coming here consistently since May and she has transformed my nails in ways I have never been able to in the past. Ivy's technique for a dip powder nails is amazing, and it's awesome that she doesn't have to use a UV light to set the powder. Ivy was very friendly and efficient, explaining everything as she went along. I was nervous at first, but she said she does pedicures for many men. Best leg massages, best quality oils and lotions. I came because of the high ratings, left super happy with the prices and service. No judgements, no up charges, and they have stirrups for you to rest your calves on during a pedicure. The massage chairs are a little old and worn out, but they work without popping sounds. So pretty! 1st time here. Ivy figured out what I really wanted since I wasn't sure what it was called - dipping powder over my natural nails. Beautifully done - "cat's eye" polish has such a cute shimmer to it. And such a nice surprise at the end - a hand massage with great smelling lotion- hadn't had that for years! The first couple times I had dip nails at this salon I was impressed. By the 3rd or 4th time she was always trying to work faster and it was reflected in the results. Ridge of product at the back of the nail as they grew out a bit. Wipe marks where she painted a product on my nail then then wiped it off. Why, I don't know and then you could see where the wiping happened at the end. Just not the same at as the first time at all. Also, the salon is not very clean. If you look around it is very dusty and dirty compared to other salons I have been in. I do think she could do better by not racing to get through an appointment or not booking them so close. I am new to the area and decided to give this nail salon a try based on the reviews. The place appeared clean with a great selection of polishes. I am not partial to gel polishes as my nails are thin and luckily they had a great selection of regular nail polish. Ivy did my pedicure and took her time. The salon was quiet and very relaxing. She was the only one working that day. I mentioned I liked the water hot and she had me soak my feet in hot water and then added more hot water before she started the pedicure which I really appreciated. This is my first time getting my nails since the COVID restriction. I placed a reservation and when I came in they had everything in place in make me feel comfortable. She sanitized everything before I sat down and they have a plastic barrier between us with a face mask. I got a shellac manicure and I asked her to file my nails almond shape. She did an amazing job and I love my nails. Great customer service and she always asked and doubled checked with me to make sure I was getting what I asked for. I just had my first appointment last week and it was a wonderful experience. She's super sweet, was flexible when I had to change my appointment, open 7 days a week, and prices were clearly marked. The shop is a bit hidden in a strip mall, but there's a large parking lot, and the inside is welcoming and relaxing. The chairs are new (and maybe the best massage chairs ever) and they even have a calf support so you don't have to hold your whole leg up during the heel scrub. (Seems like a silly thing to call out but it was surprisingly pleasant.) There are several live plants inside and a quiet but relaxing water feature in the background. As for how's she's handling Covid, there were multiple bottles of antibacterial cleaner and hand sanitizer all around. She has a good selection of shellac colors, and carries OPI, DND, SNS.
