Loved this experience. Seamless online appointment booking, very communicative staff, and a really cute space. They are no-nonsense about your nails and do a very quality job. I barely noticed the drill when my old gel polish was being removed and you get a nice beverage while you ware having nails done. So you know what to expect, you walk in and they ask you to first Choose your nail color, then they guide you to your spot. You get asked what beverage you might like from the menu (I'm trying the Vietnamese coffee next time) and they set to work. I'm not a chatty client during nails and my nail person was super focused on the work, which I appreciate two-fold. The location - I didn't realize the nail salon was there so for those of you going for the first time and aren't sure where it is, it is in the same mall strip as the Grocery Outlet. I've been a customer here in the past, but I recently chose to stop coming because of ongoing scheduling issues. I've had multiple experiences where I would schedule an appointment with someone, only to show up and have them not find me on the schedule. Recently, after a couple of nails broke, I called and was scheduled by Tim (the owner) for 4pm spot. However, when I arrived, Mary and another older woman were there and told me they were closing early, refusing to see me because they had no more appointments. When I explained that Tim had scheduled me for 4pm with someone they still turned me away, and wouldn't even call him to confirm. This was incredibly frustrating, and I ended up leaving in tears. This isn't the first time something like this has happened and I am disappointed with how the staff handled this. If you are going to try this place I would recommend seeing Tia. She has always shown me great customer service but she only works two days a week. read more

I absolutely love MP Nails! I have been to so many different nail salons but none of them were ever perfect. There was always something wrong with my manicure ( nail crooked, too long, not enough attention to detail) But Sandy at MP Nails is absolutely perfect she measures each nail to make sure they match, they are never wonky, and always filed to perfection! I will never go anywhere else (unless Sandy leaves). I have very small nail beds and Sandy not once has nicked my cuticle to make me bleed, which happens often at other places. Also, Rosa (I believe that's her name) does amazing pedicures. again small nail beds, she makes my toes uniform and pretty! And the attention to detail is outstanding! I started there on my birthday last year and I have never regretted it. From the outside it looks like a nothing salon in a strip mall. But that's not what it is at all. Once you open the door you're in a spa and it is beautiful and relaxing. You're always greeted. People are friendly and care about you. I go every month to get my nails done and I have not had a bad experience in the 15 months I've been going there. My personal nail person is also the manager and he is great! I was in the market for a pedicure so I said "What the heck, let's give em a shot!". We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist when we arrived to our 4:30 appointment. She was wonderful and thorough! Upon arrival, I even asked her if we could add manicures to our appointment and she obliged. Fast forward through a very QUICK pedicure: I asked the nail tech if she could clean around and under my toes because I have very deep nail beds. While I understand she didn't want to hurt me, she poked around my big toe and was not thorough at all!! I had to ask her a couple more times and still, I noticed some debris around the sides of my nail when I got home. After my feet had dried , my partner and I wound up waiting 30 MINUTES in the chair, thinking that we were going to get our polish put on our toes like we discussed. Also--where was this manicure that I had discussed with the receptionist?? We received no service, no remarks, not even a "You're all done!". We were just left there! After I saw a couple that had come in after us, finish their pedicure and leave, I knew something was off. We basically just wasted 30 minutes of our time. We decided to get up to pay, but I told the nail tech that was checking us out "When you charge us, please know we didn't get our nails polished or a manicure". She was extremely apologetic and even offered to put me back in the chair--but it was too late-we were already late for a birthday party. read more

My first time here today, this shop was recommended by my daughter. I am very pleased with the shellac French manicure that I received. I called this morning and made an appt for 1:30pm. I arrived about 5 minutes late due to construction traffic, but they took it in stride. I was seated right away with Tia as my manicurist. I asked for a simple French shellac, and she made sure it was just how I wanted. We had a nice conversation and I was brought a lovely cucumber water that they offered when I arrived. (They even had a margarita on the menu, which I considered, but figured I'd stick with water in the afternoon, haha) My manicure came out perfect. I paid and left- but strangely, a couple of small bubbles formed in the White tip of my thumbnail after I left. I felt kind of silly going back in, but was afraid it would peel. (This happened to me before at another salon). Tia was very gracious and thanked me for returning so she could fix it. This is the kind of service that puts a salon above the rest. I don't get my nails done very often, and admit- I'm picky when I do. I really appreciated the service and my nails look great. Shellac is $25, it was $5 extra for French. I will go back. read more

I thought I found my new nail place. Especially since the use tub liners! They use all my utensils I bring. I like that they do hot rock but they don't do it long like my old place in Wilsonville. My only concern is they possibly fired the only white girl there. I tipped her more because they made it awkward for her to do my hands while I was getting my toes done. Nice facility. Nail tech, Sandy, barely spoke to me. I received a shellac mani and she only put my nails in the UV light for one round each time (90 seconds?). Other salons always made me keep it in for a at least a couple sessions to make sure the shellac sets right. Not sure if she was in the rush but the whole appointment including the 5 second hand massage took only 35 minutes. Fastest appt ever! She is definitely not a perfectionist and did not paint to the edges of my cuticles. My shellac nail job looks a week old already and it's only been a couple days. Oh well.... come here and get your nails done by Sandy if you want something done quickly but not great. read more

I tried this salon after it was recommended by a friend who is a regular. I was not at all disappointed! The inside of the salon is very clean and esthetically pleasing. As soon as you walk in they ask you to please use hand sanitizer that is provided before signing off on their covid waiver. The lady who did my pedicure was very polite and diligent. Her massage was great, the massage chair was also great. My pedicure looks amazing considering a lot of people mess up on doing all white toes. The only reason for losing a star is their different pedicures range minimally and I feel like other salons include these things that this salon charges extra for. I.e. cuticle cleaning, sugar scrub, etc. despite that I will be back and taking more clients next time! My friend also got a dip manicure and it looked great. If there was something that needed to be fixed to her liking the staff did not give attitude which I feel like is pretty common in other salons. read more

I made a online appointment which was super easy and convenient. I was also quoted how much my nails were which was nice. When I arrived they weren't ready until 15 minutes AFTER my appointment time. When I sat and had my acrylic nails done, the artist refused to hear me out about the picture I brought in for my nails. My nails turned a different color than I wanted and she refused to change them. The shape of my nails might as well be a joke. The " coffin " shape that got put on my nails looks HORRENDOUS and the acrylic is THICK AND HEAVY. Never in my life have I had nails applied this awfully. Along with them not being the color or desired shape, the initials i had which were easy to write were SLOPPY and just plain not attractive. I paid almost 25$ MORE than what I was quoted for some of the WORST WORK IVE EVER HAD IN THE PNW. THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT. read more

I tried so hard to like this place. The actual salon is beautiful, but the work is not worth the money. I have been getting my nails dipped for a year now and this is the first place I have been to where my nails have been destroyed within a week. The day after I got my nails done my thumb nail chipped and broke. I went back and got it fixed and then the next day my other thumb nail chipped. I'm not doing anything hardcore with my fingers for them to chip like that. I then got that nail fixed and three days later and it's chipped again. Not impressed. Won't be back. read more

They did a good job and were really good when they first opened. However, the last 3 times in a row they were more than 20 minutes late. The first 2 times I took it in stride as I had extra time but the 3rd I had to be somewhere and just couldn't afford it. They kept saying 10 more minutes but 30 minutes later they were still nowhere near ready. If they could have been honest in the beginning I could have even tried to find another place to go but by the time I got up to leave it was already too late. Also while Sandy does a really good job I am concerned about her hygiene practices. I have to remind her to change to dremmel paper from the last person which can easily transmit bacteria/fungus/etc. and she refuses to clean under my nails so lends me her nail cleaner for me to do it myself but then puts it back in her kit without cleaning it. I'm bummed because they were really convenient for me to go to but I guess I am on the hunt for a new one. read more
