Had a great experience. Just moved here recently from California which I really loved my nail place I went to before. Both the owners were there and so friendly. Tried something different this time for summer and I'm glad I picked this place. They took their time and were all friendly there. Recommend!

I got such a bad manicure done at a different salon and I walked in and Lan fixed my nails so nicely! Definitely not going anywhere else. She did such a good job and took the time to get them the way I wanted them. I've also had Sonny do my pedis and he does a great job. They're both so friendly and Sonny is a really funny guy. I love the feel of walking in and getting talked to like a friend.

I feel really bad writing this review, because the people working were really nice, but I feel a need to warn others. I went in today to get a full set with French tips and was disappointed with the results. All of my nails are different shapes with some being significantly shorter or more rounded than others (I asked for almond). The French tip design was also way too thick and also uneven. I also have a tendency of getting nicked on my fingers when technicians are filing, but I'm pretty sure I now have cuts on every finger. It seems like this place provides other services at a better quality, but would probably not recommend coming here for acrylic nails. read more

The water was cold, I didn't get offered any wax or other services however the person next to me did , I got charged $55 and no massage either. No beverages offered. The nail polish was old and came out lumpy, they tried to say it was my nail bed being uneven, after a couple polishes, they found one. One hour and a half and $55 later for the most basic pedi. read more

Lan and her staff do excellent work- I've been going there for years and have been nothing but impressed with their skills and wanting to do a great job. My nails look like shit!! I told LAN I was not happy with the way they looked all she did was talk faster so I had an even harder time trying to understand stand what she was saying! Bottom line is I told her the nails looked so bad because she was in a hurry to get the other people in!!! read more

Went in for the first time yesterday for a back fill and manicure. My nails look horrible. The white back fill line is smudged on every finger and she put so much product on my nails look as thick as bear claws. And the "manicure" they charged me $15 for consisted of about a 2 minute hand and arm massage that was too rough and brisk to even be enjoyable, followed by a few snips of my cuticle. My cuticles, by the way, still look dry and haggard. (photo posted of my nails the day after) I do NOT reccomend this place and will not be returning. Complete waste of money for crappy looking nails. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could, the service was horrible and rushed. I was just watching as my friend got her nails. I had contemplated getting them done as well but after I saw the way the lady was doing her nails I was petrified! She was doing them so fast and carelessly, as if she didn't care how horrible they turned out. I watched as she rough handled my friends fingers. My friend was mortified because she didn't know how to tell the lady she didn't want her to continue the set any longer. Once she built up enough courage she kindly and quietly asked if their was any way she could pay for the service done thus far (the nail tech only got about half way through the process) and head out. This lady immediately got defensive and started arguing with my friend. Even after she tried to pay for what she did so far and just leave and instead of accepting the payment the owners got mad and started yelling at her. And told her to "get the fuck out" because that's the way they do nails. read more

This place is amazing I've been coming in here for 3 years and get shillac or regular nails done and waxing and each time it's an amazing experience owners are amazing and extremely nice and so are the rest of the workers. 10/10 would recommend read more

I haven't been to many places to get my nails done but so far this is my favorite place. They can be a little hard to understand but that doesn't bother me. the ladies are nice and do a very good job. Its a family run establishment and you will often see the owners husband and kids in the spa and once or twice I saw their cute and well mannered puppy they had just gotten over the summer. their decor is nice and the chairs are all new and not cracked like some of the other places i have been. I had a pedicure in July and the polish (grown out of course)was still on my toes yesterday when I went back for another one. I really am not a nails type of girl but like going with a girlfriend for our outings. Its a big bonus that there is a Black Rock Coffee in the same parking lot! I have had them do acrylic nails and they turned out phenomenal. There was one point when they where trimming my cuticles that it hurt a little but out of the 4-5 mani's and pedi's I have had there that was the only time. read more

worst customer service ever. this place is absolutely horrible. as i walked into the salon the lady looked at me angrily and said "what do you need". but i proceeded to let it go as i didn't feel like driving to my actual salon as it is very far and i was exhausted from work. anyways, she proceeded to do my nails in such a rush and kept hurting me and cutting me until i finally said "excuse me are you upset or something? is there a reason why you are doing my nails like this?" and she was like "no no i'm not" and i was like well you keep hurting me and you're doing them in such a rush. and she goes "i'm sorry" and i was like "i can go somewhere else if you want" then, the husband comes up and starts yelling at me saying "this is what you asked for" and blah blah blah. so then i said can you just take them off? they look bad. and she goes "if i take them off you're gonna have to pay" so i say, NO, i am NOT going to pay. you did such a horrible job. and at this point the husband started getting aggressive and loud so i decided to grab my shit and go. i hate this place with such a passion. this is the second time i've tried to be nice and let things go by going back to them but never again will i be back. if you hate your job or life, don't take it out on someone else. worst place ever to get your nails or any other service done. don't ever go here. i warned you. if i could give no stars i would. read more

You will not get a better deal or a higher quality anywhere else. I moved to Portland, but I still make the drive at least once a month to Hillsboro to get my eyebrows waxed and a shellac manicure. The people are so nice. They always remember my name and treat me great. Not only that, but their services are superb. I have had shellac manicures from a couple other places and they start to peel within a week, but when I get them at Nail Spa they stay flawless for about 3 weeks. I highly recommend getting your next mani, pedi, or wax at Nail Spa in Hillsboro! read more
