Picture does no justice! This set is incredible!

My husband and I received the best service possible! The laddies there are so sweet and friendly.

I'm a routine 2 week nail doer so I've been looking for my new nail home in Portland. I found it. Mademoiselle is professional, friendly, and very clean! They also have great nail color selections and I love that it's family owned. They take great pride in their product and they should because they are pretttyyyyy great.

Dip manicure with acrylic tips.

Popped by here while in town briefly & so glad I did! TLDR: Very happy with my dip with tips manicure. Clean place. Patient staff. I'm spacing on the name of my tech, but she was great! Really took time and care and was super patient with me giving directions for how I wanted the shape of my nails. Because of that back and forth the service took a little longer than normal but the look great and have held up really well! I got a new set of tips with dip manicure as I wanted to go longer than the set I had on at the time. They were the perfect shape - a little longer than I intended, but I adore them! They're also the perfect thickness- pretty and natural looking, but also thick enough to hold up especially for the length. Great color selection too. Atmosphere wise the places was well put together and clean, I called an hour ahead on a Thursday morning and had the place to myself for a solid hour or so. They do ask you to bring your own "nail kit" or it's a small charge to buy one that you can take with you & bring back. Consists of a really nice nail file and buffer.

I've been here three times. Every time I am impressed at their work. They're really neat and do amazing job however I will not be returning after this recent visit. Anna and other will always talk shit about you in your face in Vietnamese Really unprofessional and I am never going back here again. Oh plus Anna overcharges everything. From length, colors you choose, also she will stare at your receipt while you sign to ~peer pressure~ you into tipping more.

Pedicure fabulous!

My first time here and I really enjoyed the deluxe pedicure. It was a very nice experience and it was very relaxing. It's my idea of a perfect getaway from Life's daily stresses. I will definitely be back here again perfect service all the way. Thank you!

I went here a few months ago with some friends for acrylic nails and i was blown away by their service! We had our appointments set and instead of having us go one by one they let us all sit together so we could continue talking and having a good time! They offered us drinks and let us know if other services they provided in case we wanted to do one while we waited. I had the lady at station #3 and she was amazing, i got a simple set and she was so quick with it and they came out stellar! I will be going back!

I've been going to this salon for months and the ladies here are so nice and always do a good job! I'm so obsessed with my cute little valentines nails that I had to come on here and post a review! Thu is ma girl for nails! This was my first time trying dip and I love it! Also, Amy and Kathy give amazing pedicures!

However; Stephanie K came by referral from a friend who used to work at Platinum Salon, so I trusted her judgement. I had also scheduled to have my upper eyelids tattooed with "eyeliner" but chickened out. Nothing was going to stop me from getting my eyebrows done though, so I was up at the crack of dawn the day of my appointment and drove across town, arriving 20 minutes early, because of how excited I was. I am really glad I went and got my eyebrows done by Stephanie because she did a great job and I now have eyebrows that I think God intended me to have (before I tweezed the crap out of them in my teens - for the Pam Anderson look). Stephanie is also really personable and is a perfectionist so she didn't call it good until she had gone over them again and again - making sure that not a single faux hair was out of place. The price was very good and includes a touch up (they tend to fade a little after you first get them done) and I am going to work up the courage to do the eyeliner when I go in for my touch-up appointment. I wish I had a "before" photo, so you could see how little eyebrows I had left on my brow before I would pencil them in and before Stephanie thickened them up, but you will just have to use your imagination that they were much thinner and much shorter in length. If you have thin eyebrows and are sick of penciling them in every day, I would seriously consider getting this procedure done. Your brow is numbed beforehand, so the mini blade they use to tattoo hair lines on doesn't hurt at all. There is nothing to fear, but what you will do with your extra time in the morning (dishes, making your bed etc). lol

I've been to a couple different Elements Massage (Lake Oswego, Tanasbourne) for MEDICAL MASSAGE,…read morewith focus on both legs and feet for lower peripheral neuropathy along with some lower back pain and muscle tension and cramping issues from a laminectomy at L3 as well. Out of every treatment option under the sun, massage therapy is the most useful. No drugs, PT or surgery even come close toward relief and recovery after over six years of dealing with my conditions. Sadly most insurance doesn't cover massage or has very limited visits per year so it gets expensive fast, even though my doctors would prescribe it perpetually for the medical benefits if I requested it. My latest visit at Tanasbourne in late April of 2024 was 90 minutes with Kat, she did a fantastic job, dug in deep with hard pressure as I prefer, light massage does nothing for severe neuropathy and preventing debilitating muscle cramping. Deep tissue is the way to go, on scale of 4-5 with 5 being hard pressure pain in a good way, she put in a solid 3-4. PROS: - Have always had great DEEP TISSUE massages every visit by a man or woman, therapists have been well qualified. - Every visit the massage therapist listened and focused on the areas requested (after years of severe neuropathy I know where to focus). - ALWAYS feel better after a deep, and sometimes painful massage, the kind where it hurts so good. - All professional, no feeling of being uncomfortable or pressured to tip. - Clean and modern facilities. - Mellow typical massage music. - Tables that raise and lower and are heated. - Can usually accommodate a quick same day schedule. - Most locations are easily accessible and disabled friendly. CONS: - No direct billing to insurance (some locations used to do this, but stopped), but can provide you with an invoice. - Does not provide a hot moist towel at end like many places do to wipe off any lingering lotion or oil, even though they have them and sometimes use them during your massage. Even less fancy places provide a dry towel. Nothing here, I guess you could use the massage table sheets. - Massage oil or lotion had a slight scent, nothing unpleasant or too strong, but noticeable. - Encourages tipping, even for medical massage (which shouldn't be required). ... While I don't mind tipping a little for Medical Massage, it is often deemed as necessary by medical professionals, just like Physical Therapy. Some massage therapist charge a higher rate for 'Medical Massage' and therefore make note that gratuity is not necessary as it's basically included in the rate. The benefits towards positive health with massage is far greater than the world, insurance or science might document, sort of like chiropractors, even though many insurance are starting to accept them now as legitimate practice. I mean, we don't tip chiropractors, PT, primary care doctors or surgeons?!? Some chiropractors have onsite massage, but my luck with finding a good deep tissue massage therapist through a chiropractor has yet to happen, probably because it's a lot of work and requires a lot of strength and stamina to dig in deep. Solution -- establishments need to pay their massage therapist a far better base rate, then tipping wouldn't be even be a question. My guess is that most chiropractors and massage studios don't pay their therapist a higher rate for 'Medical Massage' grade therapy, when they should ... The industry needs to change their mindset. SUMMARY: Elements seems to hire qualified massage therapists, no complaints there. Rates are on the higher side. Biggest downside is on the corporation as a whole being too lazy and cheap to bill insurance directly and not paying extra to their therapist for Medical Massage, and of course no towels for cleaning yourself up before exiting.

My one hour massage was only 45 minutes. I showed up early but did not get in the room until five…read moreminutes after the hour. After the therapist talked to me and I was ready for the massage it was 10 minutes after the hour, but the massage ended 15 minutes early. Very disappointed. Front desk staff are always very friendly & welcoming. Dr Wiggins does a wonderful job explaining…read moredifferent procedures & thoroughly answers all my questions without ever making me feel pressured to make a treatment decision on the spot.

Let me first start by saying the "spa" here should have its own yelp because a lot of these reviews…read moreare for the medical procedures which are misleading to really how terrible this place is claiming to be a top spa. Now, maybe I am just used to the TRUE luxury spas like in Scottsdale, AZ or Southern California but if people here think this is a luxury spa you have not really been to one. First, upon arrival it is clear they want to push their med spa and procedures there was nothing but advertisements, creams, and marking for that in your face everywhere you turned. After checking in, the woman said she would give me a tour, she led me to a glass door that was supposed to be an outdoor patio and said I could use it if I wanted some sun, I looked out to see a broken fountain, a mess of chairs thrown about, and nothing relaxing or enticing that made me want to go out there. Next, she led me down the stairs to the soaking pool, cold dip, etc. I booked this place for one reason. I am recovering from an injury and wanted to soak in a hot tub, sauna, etc. While it was visually pleasing in that particular part, but then she said "and today since it is so hot out, we have the soaking pool at am ambient temperature." Like what do you mean ambient? I was thinking to myself that thing better be a VERY warm ambient. When walking out she pointed to some neglected pedicure chairs in the corner and said these are nice to sit in and get a massage and are heated. I thought that was strange because the chairs were stained and had clearly not been used in a while and you had to climb up a huge stone step like you would if you were getting a spa pedi just to use them. It was like they were trying to pass them off as something nice but really should be taken out! Next, we went into the locker rooms, now when I go to the spa, I bring a swimsuit, and a fresh change of clothes and my makeup to freshen up after. The lockers were the size of piggy banks, and I had to cram my stuff in so tight, it would barely lock and upon opening everything fell out. There are no hooks ANYWHERE, I had to put my robe on the dirty ground after getting into my swimsuit because there was no where to hang it, or a towel once you were getting dressed and undressed. Anyway, she said she would turn on the jets to the soaking pool and bring me some paperwork to sign. She never did either. I put my suit on with my now dirty gross robe, and sandals that were enormous. I couldn't wait to get in the pool and I step in and it is absolutely freezing. Like ice cold bath water. This is what she meant by ambient. Like on your website you say it is 103 degrees, this was maybe 85 degrees. I was so upset. The entire reason I came and I am now teeth chattering cold. I get out of the pool and go into the sauna to warm up. It is also turned down so low that I crank up the temp to 105 degrees and it took forever to heat up. Now I am soaked and damp, and even more uncomfortable than when I arrived. I went back to the locker room, took off my wet suit and changed into dry undergarments for my massage and thought I would try to warm up in the heated massage pedi chairs she pointed out. I sit down and push the massage and literally thought my brain was going to get shook out of my head. It just vibrates at a scale that is NOT comfortable. I just shut it off and honestly almost left at that point. Fifteen minutes after my massage was supposed to start, this massage therapist huffs around the corner and says my name. She literally has a mullet, the biggest N95 White mask on I have ever seen and NO SHOES! Like what in the actual F! One thing is for sure, if you are wanting a "stay weird" Portland spa, y'all have found it! We go into this weird doctors treatment room, nothing calming, relaxing or spa vibes at all. It's very bright in there, and I tell her I want light pressure, and I had to tell her three times to lighten it up. I HATE massage therapists that use their elbows, and whole arms, and sh** like they are digging into you. I just want something relaxing not where I am grunting for you to stop! I had also asked for the hot oil head massage. After my 60 minutes, she didn't say anything about it, didn't offer it, and honestly I was at this point thinking I am at the threshold of hell. I just wanted to get out of there. I went back to the locker room, and because they offer no bags for your wet clothes like most spas, my suit had soaked my entire bag and I left in wet soppy clothes. The one nice thing is the girl working the front desk noticed how displeased and offered to take off the $25 for the spa facilities but honestly this place is an epic joke, trying to pass off as luxury. Do not waste your time, or energy here.

My skin has been pretty damaged by the sun since I never wore sunscreen growing up so I wanted to try to reverse some of the damage. Let me tell you Manal is the best. She takes great care of me every time I visit. I give her updates on my skincare routine and she makes adjustments to my treatment based off of that. She also gives great advice as well on how I can improve on my routine. I always leave feeling refreshed and my face glowing. I have noticed a big difference with how much is with the monthly visits. After treatments she'll get me some coconut water to hydrate which is a nice bonus. A tip is to get their membership if you plan on getting treatments more regularly since you get a special members price and can get points for visits which you can redeem for a free service. I think their members price is great value vs the other facial places in the area. Highly recommend this place and Manal.

One of my facials was great, but the esthetician was not licensed to provide a special add-on service that I need for my scar. So I scheduled with another esthetician, and that was the shortest and the worst facial of my life for $150. I have had all kind of facials all my life. I've decided to give this place a try because I got a membership there and was coming for massage anyway. I've never had anything like this. Almost drive-thru. The esthetician appeared to be experienced, but had bossy and almost condescending attitude. It was weird and uncomfortable. And so was the facial. IMHO the difference between facial massage and rubbing someone's cheeks in a hurry is not only in length of the procedure, not only in what areas of the face were worked on. There should be an intent to relax the face, full hand contact and massage to tone the muscles, maybe extractions, or hydration, a mask to address unique needs of person's skin. RARE but very good estheticians used to massage decolte and hands as a part of facial as well. But this one was weird. She cleaned my face in a hurry, rubbed my cheeks and neck, and then dumped something on my face and spread it on with a brush. That potion was left on my face for few min and was wiped off with a wet towel IN A HURRY as if she did not want to touch my face!!!! That was it !!! I was offered to purchase some other services later, and that was the end of my facial!!! I'd say 15 min start to finish. I've never ever had a facial this unpleasant, tensing up, short, minimalistic and costly. It was a waste of my time and money.
