Ever since I tried this spot for the first time a few months ago, I have never been anywhere else. The staff is amazing! I love how tucked in this spot is because it feels like you are not having to compete with the crazies. We have a lot of nail spots throughout the area and most seem pretty just cookie cutter. I was mortified to go someone honestly because my feet were a complete disaster. I've had injuries so between all the wrapped ankles and PT I have not had time to stop and get a pedicure in what felt like forever. I grabbed the deluxe and was not disappointed. A friend and I grabbed last minute walk ins since she had come in from out of town and both of us needed some pampering. We grabbed a pedicure before dinner and it is experiences like this which make me not want to go anywhere else. The sweet ladies helping us were just wonderful and really make our poor feet shine - my heels were beyond extra and she used an amazing mask on them to get all that yuck off. I garden a lot so I try to take good care and get regular pedicures knowing that foot care is so important. Bravo to you gorgeous folks who have strappy sandal feet always with the French pedicure - stay beautiful! I appreciate these amazing folks who have power tools to help my horse hoofs out! I've found my new favorite salon! Rainbow nails is a little out of the way for me but the drive is worth it. I wanted to visit a few times before writing my review. Anytime I have used their services, I received very friendly customer service both over the phone and in person. I received services for a full set and a fill. Both times they were very gentle and patient. I felt that they spent the time to make sure my nails all looked perfect and even. They have some of the best selection of colors I have seen in my experience - like 30 shades of pink, so you can always find that exact shade you want . They also have tons of glitter and chrome polish available too. Many of the other customers coming to the shop during my visit seemed like they were regulars- definitely a good sign! Today was my first and last time at this nail salon. I just moved to area and decided to get gel done this morning. The ladies were all super friendly and nice and the salon was very clean from what I initially saw. The lady who did my nails did an OK job, nothing to brag about. My cuticles are still showing, the polish isn't completely even and it looks like I have a week of grow out as soon as I stepped out of the salon. There are very minimal colors to choose from compared to other salons I've gone. My other complaint is that on the website it says a shellac manicure is $25. She charged me $30. I don't appreciate the conflicting information. I'll definitely take my money elsewhere for the future. read more

Where do I start??? After reading other reviews on this salon I greatly agree with with all of those with bad experiences. My neighbor gets a manicure at Rainbow and said I should try them since they are close to where I live. Mind you I am a young 73 and I have had my nails done for decades .!!!! There have been a few fixable things during all of those years. Where do I begin?......I have medium long nails. I called this morning to see if I could make an appointment . 1:30 was a set time. I went in to have my nails taken off and a new set put on. I was told on the phone , since I asked, about what the cost would be. When I went in I was told to sit and pick out a color. I said on the phone I wanted pink and white French and again when I was given colors to choose from. So I wait about a half hour or more. There was one of the nail techs kid running all over and bothering the customers. And I felt bad for them. Finally I'm asked to sit at a station . The girl was nice but obviously not into working today. She looked at my nails then left for about 15 minutes. When she came back she removed my other nails wanting to just do new ones over them. So as I sit for an hour or more waiting with my nails taken off, she left and never came back. NEVER CAME BACK AND LEFT ME SITTING THERE. Finally some one else had me move to her station and that was another DISASTER I said I wanted my nails a little shorter from the grow out. I was told they only do three types of nails....so finally she does the necessary filing etc and put the long tips on. Next thing I know I have cut nails as a youngster would have. She cut them so short and then said you want pink ???? I said I wanted my nails longer and she just did her thing. The polish can easily be pealed of, looks at least a weeks grow out and the polish is so thick , it is higher than my cuticle. After being there for 3 hours I was so disgusted and tired and missed another appointment . I have never been to a salon where they don't ask you to wash your hands before the polish or finishing touches are done I REPEAT, VERY UNSANITARY AND I NEVER WASHED MY HANDS AND NAILS. SHE JUST BRUSHED THEM OFF AND painted them------which I didn't want. I wanted pink and white French and not nails looking like I was a nail biter. So $70 later I paid and glad I asked for a receipt. When I returned home my friends that were waiting for me for a lunch date could not believe my nails she made them fan shaped stubs I truly believe I am owed an apology and a refund . My cuticles are so sore from being filed with the electric device they use. Also, I was so embarrassed I did not go out for dinner instead of a lunch. I hope management reads this. I guess I have to wait several days for my cuticles to heal before going somewhere else more reputable . Times are tough , but I sure didn't get what I paid for. I will be calling them in the morning ...also letting the Covid resource know about their neglect at cleanliness They don't even deserve one star on their reviews. read more

Two things I liked about this place: 1) They got me in right away as a walk-in 2) She did a very thorough job trimming my dry skin away. This was it. 3) I'll add a third, the polish selection is okay, but- you can't hold them up to your actual nail so you have no idea how it will look on your skintone. The wine was literally undrinkable, and she tried to card me after wrapping my fingers in acetone foil. The woman kept filing the ends of my nails with the buffer. Before I went to wash my hands I told her that the ends of my nails had sharp points from where she cut them, so I asked if she could file them- she said she'd do it after I washed (the whole point of washing is to get the nails dust free and clean from oils). So I come back after washing and again she keeps using the buffer rather than the file. The UV light is damaged and stays on the entire time, making the box extremely hot to put your hands into. My lady also had a hard time staying in the lines and therefore the outsides of my nails were on fire as the polish cured to them. The polish job itself is terrible, she missed sides of my nails, there are artifacts of some sort (hair, dust) causing bumps and chunks, and I have polish on my cuticles. After my nails were cured she realized after they knicked her arm...that oh my gosh, they aren't smooth! So after my polish had been cured, she then begins to file them. giant eyeroll. Let's just open that nail tip up for water exposure! I guess that's the one thing I can be thankful for... I can get this crappy nail job redone sooner rather than later! Now that they will be lifting in a week or less. $25 plus tip down the drain here... read more

I've been coming here for the past 6 months or so. My first experience wasn't so well. I asked for a full set french ombré, really blended. The lady that was doing my nails did a very awful job, horrible. Unfortunately, I had to leave because I had plans for the day. Later that day, I went back for a pedicure and to see if I could get my nails fixed. The pedicure was amazing, no complaints. The massaging chairs are great! Once my pedi was all done, I talked to another lady and mention that I was not happy with my nails at all and she redid them for no extra charge. She did such a wonderful job, my nails came just how I wanted them and she took her time! After that, I kept coming back. The staff are very kind and such a relaxing atmosphere. Very disrespectful response after asking for what I wanted, did not prep my nails by pushing and cleaning my cuticle she just started filing and pressing nails on, all my nails are different sizes and the acrylic was very sloppy and thick when applying. I went there once after Kate and Lee were no longer there and stopped going because of the rude new owner. I had been a satisfied customer for years and my 2 daughters and their friends were going there too. Lee and Kate did the best nails and the pedicures were fantastic with great massages! But I started going elsewhere after contending with the new owner who would literally see customers as "money" and not people. Her nailwork was awful. I'm glad to hear ownership changed. Came in to get a pedicure, left with the polish smudged and uneven. They didn't use any pressure at all and when they did the pumice stone used it for like 5 seconds so my feet are still super dry. My daughter got a pedicure as well, normally $10 for kids but they added a flower without asking them charged another five bucks for it. Definitely won't come back. read more

This place was able to fit us in for same-day pedicures. It's a great deal--hour-long pedicure including paraffin dip, hot stones, and leg massage for $25. The pedicure looked really nice at the end. Why I cut two stars: the place is weirdly dirty. As in, even the floors literally have a ton of dirt and dust on them, in the corners, etc. It's a little disconcerting to get nails done in a dirty salon. It would be very easy to fix with a quick sweep and mop, but for now I won't be back until it gets cleaned up! read more

Verify your service and what it will cost!! Looking for a new nail salon as my current tech is just not cutting it. Made an appointment (which really does not matter anymore as very few salons actually write anything down) and showed up only to be told that my appointment was for the next day. They fit me in regardless and was told that my service would cost $40. As a new customer, a 10% discount was to be given also. At checkout, my credit card was charged $45. I asked, "I thought my service was $40? Why is it charged for $45?" I got some incoherent answer and he (Henry) told me to "just sign" the receipt. I told him that I didn't understand when the service was $40 with a 10% discount (I would have tipped more as I got a discount) but he continued to argue. I just signed it and left not wanting to deal with the situation. Sorry, won't be going back! Service wise - solar nails ok, very thick and one week later the edges are peeling. read more

I don't recommend this place at all. They did a horrible job with my manicure and pedicure. My shellac was horribly done. My pedicure is uneven, my shellac is uneven as well. I can see streaks of the nail polish. They tried fixing it, but they were making it worse. I paid full prices for a service I was not satisfied with. This salon charges extra for everything and is so overly priced especially for how awful my pedicure looked. I was left with so much dry skin on my feet, they did not even scrub my feet. I was asked in very poor English if I wanted a solution put on my feet for $5 more and I said no, so she proceeded with the service. I wanted them to use the normal callus removing tool but they refused, and said "no you already done". My friend tried explaining that we were unsatisfied and continued to try to get them to take the dry skin off my feet, but one of the workers just continued repeating that my pedicure was done. She even pointed out that she has dry feet like me, unlike my friend and tried to say some people just have that. They did not even use top coat polish on my nails. My pedicure chipped within a week. I left with rough feet and poorly painted toes, and I will never go back, and would never recommend this salon to anyone. They were very rude and clearly did not care about customer service. read more
