I was in desperate search of a nail salon that would take me fast and do the job fast. I arrived to this nail salon around 1:30 and there was only one other person there. I told them I wanted a manicure and a pedicure so they did both at the same time! They treated me very kindly and did such a good job. My pedicure felt amazing and my nails look fabulous. Will definitely go back. read more

I was appalled when I checked out to pay my bill here at Rainbow Salon. We had been regular customers up to this point. Both my daughter and I had 3 services each and the TOTAL bill with included TIP was $224! Can you believe this??????? NEVER once did they tell me their prices had been raised. NEVER once did they say "Did you see that we raised our prices"? Not only THAT but they convinced my daughter to get SHILAC OVER HER ACRYLICS which is completely unnecessary AND was an additional cost. They LOST 2 amazing customers. If only they would have been honest about raising their prices and not steering my daughter towards a SERVICE that was unnecessary. We will find another place to go from now on. $224 LATER! read more

This salon charges extra for everything and is so overly priced especially for how awful my pedicure looked. I was left with so much dry skin on my feet, they did not even scrub my feet. I was asked in very poor English if I wanted a solution put on my feet for $5 more and I said no, so she proceeded with the service. I wanted them to use the normal callus removing tool but they refused, and said "no you already done". My friend tried explaining that we were unsatisfied and continued to try to get them to take the dry skin off my feet, but one of the workers just continued repeating that my pedicure was done. She even pointed out that she has dry feet like me, unlike my friend and tried to say some people just have that. They did not even use top coat polish on my nails. My pedicure chipped within a week. I left with rough feet and poorly painted toes, and I will never go back, and would never recommend this salon to anyone. They were very rude and clearly did not care about customer service. read more

As soon as I enter, i asked if they have time for a pedicure since i was on my lunch break. They invited me and sat me down after choosing color. One lady came and remived nail polish from one feet and started service in 2 ladies ealked 10 minutes after i arrived. I waited 20 minutes before other girl came and started service on my feet. I had to remind then 3 times that i need help. I could not walk put since they removed polish from one feet and clip nails in that feet. Will never go back again. read more

Beyond satisfied with service and quality of product! Each employee takes their time and the results are amazing. After being disappointed with wait times, poor service, and unsatisfactory results at many other places, I tried this salon and there's no doubt in my mind this will be my go to from now on. read more

I love this place!! People put bad reviews on here because of the price and it's ridiculous!! You can ask the price before hand and it even tells you on their service sheet. They are such nice people who do their best to make you have a great experience. I go here every time! read more

I worked for Rainbow Nails a few years ago when it was under the old management. Today I took my mom and daughter there and was BLOWN away with how beautiful it is inside now. Almost everything is brand new and the service was fantastic! So happy to see my old home doing well read more

They blamed me for yellowing nails from them mixing chemicals. They treated me like the money I was spending meant nothing. When i brought up how lumpy my nails turned out I was told to find another nail place. Terrible experience more than once. read more

I've been going to Rainbow for over a year and love them! They're always very friendly, I can get in very quickly with an appt or walk in, and they do a great job. Their shellac technique is the best. My shellac mani looked great even after 3 and a half weeks (I stretched it to 4)! I also like that they remember details about how I like my nails and my family, even after the first time I went there. I see a lot of regulars each time I go in and everyone is laughing and having a good time; they treat customers like family! read more

LASHES: I tried the eyelash extensions and all I can say is avoid them. Besides a tortuous process which was mainly because she taped my lower lashes so close to my eyeball that if I moved my eyes they cut into my eye...literally. I told her and she insisted this is how it's done to keep the glue from getting on the bottom lashes. I had to keep my eyes looking upward to avoid the edge of the tape rubbing against my iris. They started falling out before I even got up out of the chair (that is hammocked so it hurts your back and lower legs). The gal that put them in saw this as she was standing right there as I looked in the mirror... but she acted like it was fine...so I though okay fine..When I got to the car I looked in my mirror and several more fell out. I thought to myself now is the time to go back inside and say something but I honestly just wanted to leave and my eyes were burning red. For almost $100, the lash extensions lasted 3 whole days till the lat one fell out. Her response was "that happens to some people", and gave me a free manicure on a second visit. Still not worth it. EYEBROWS: While the process was going, she talked me into a brow waxing. Said they could use a clean up so I agreed. I like a little arch but she took it upon herself to wax so far in the the center that my brows were too far apart, and extremely thin. Like 1920's thin. Not exactly what I had in mind. Could not wait for them to grow back out. SHELLACK manicure: This was done by a different gal, and she did a really nice job. It was the best of the three services. Not worth going back for but I can't complain about the manicure except I recommend skipping the "lotion". It smells bad, & there is no actual "massage", she just sort of rubs it on. The polish stayed on for almost 2 weeks so I was happy about that. I hate giving a bad report but this was my experience. read more

Good prices & friendly staff. They always do a great job on my nail extensions.

Was given shellac manicure and pedicure but never asked for that. I came in with a gift card for a regular mani pedi and was surprised with the extra charges. Won't be returning. read more

The male technician who filled my acrylics here was so unsanitary it was disgusting. He filed and picked my nails over the container of new tips and his reusable instruments. He wore the same gloves going from clean to dirty stations. I would not go back here ever just based on his utter disregard to cleanliness. read more

This was the worst pedicure I have had, and I have had quite a few At different places. When cutting our cuticles, both my mom and I were cut so deep we were bleeding - painful! Also, before my nails were painted, I was moved to a chair and asked to put my foot on the crouched girls knee to paint my toes. I am 8 months pregnant, so this was impossible and uncomfortable! Our seats were quickly filled by waiting customers. Horrible business! I would never go here again and would recommend anyone in the area check out another salon! read more

We made appointments and had to wait almost a half hour before they started working on us. The water was cold and the pedicure was nothing special. I never felt like I was getting a leg massage. Salt and lotions were rubbed on me but it wasn't therapeutic. The place was really dirty. I was concerned about catching a fungus as I left. The restroom is dirty and the floors are really dirty. I have friends that love this place. The people are nice but they speak to each other in their own language and the atmosphere, including all the cords all over the place as a tripping hazard and the general hygiene are not up to my standards. read more

I previously had written a good review for this nail salon. I felt compelled to post an update since I did have a negative experience here. I still stand by the fact that they do give great shellac manicures and acrylic nails. However, I booked a pedicure there and will never do that again. The girl who did the pedicure made me nervous! During the entire pedicure, she stared out the window. I understand that she has probably done a thousand of these, but you still have to watch what you are doing! My point was sadly proven the next day, when I had painful cuts in my feet from her. At the time of the pedicure, I thought that it was uncomfortable, but assumed she knew what she was doing. Bad decision. Also, when she used the hot stones on my lower legs, the were far too hot. I was concerned that I was going to have burns. To sum this up, a pedicure should be a pleasant, relaxing experience. This certainly was not. Manicures at this salon; yes. Pedicures; NO. read more

I went in for a full set and they started lifting one week later. Had a fill done thinking I could give them another chance and again a week later the nails were lifting. When I went in to politely complain they tried to make me feel like it was my fault instead of their bad product. Then proceeded to pry off the nails they had put on a couple of weeks earlier, put Shellac on and it is already lifting the next morning! They had the audacity to charge me $35.00 without so much as an apology! I will not be going back to them read more

Rainbow Nails is always a great place to get good quality nails done. They are honest about how long you have to wait if at all and the ladies are hilarious. I do want to comment on a previous review that shoes a an empty sauce jar.. They use that to put finger nail polish remover to seal off the smell as best they can. I think this is pretty accurate practice anywhere you go. I have gone to multiple other salons and it is always hit or miss. With Rainbow Nails I know for sure my nails get done right the first time. read more

I have been a long time customer of this salon. Lee and Katie are wonderful manicurists. Lee fell ill and had to sell the business and after the new owner took over, Katie left. I've been here 2 or 3 times. Every time I've been, it hasn't been the best quality acrylic nails, but decent. I made an apt for me and a friend yesterday and let me tell you I'm never going back. The sample colors are different when painted on your actual nails because they use completely transparent nails for the samples and our nails (surprisingly) are not transparent but translucent. So I thought I was getting a pink sparkly color and my friend wanted that same color on a couple of her nails. After she saw the pink color on her nails, she asked if she could pay Katie extra money to change the color and Katie refused, saying she already put the top coat on and continued to be defensive about the color saying all the costumers like it. I was shook. Another nail tech did my nails and you could tell she wasn't taking her time. She was rushing and a rushed never produces quality work. I asked her for a coffin shape and told her around 4 times nicely if she could make them more narrow. I gave up and now I am stuck with a new set, that's wide, and poorly done. The bottom of my nails are poorly cleaned out and uncomfortable. We each paid $45 for a full set w/ shellac+ $20 to paint our toes w shellac and NO pedicure I paid an extra $5 for a nail file kit (which is overpriced). Overall not a good experience. read more

Today I had the worst experience at this shop. Tell me why they had me wait 1.5 hours for a 15-20 min nail fix. I got there at 1:30p for my appointment (called in the morning) right after me there were 3 ladies that came for pedi/nails (walk ins). When I tell you they did all 3 pedicures and 2 sets of nails before they came to help me. I had a simple nail fix. I have been coming to this shop for over a year and they constantly take in walk ins when realistically they don't have the time. I kept coming back because I loved how they were able to do fun designs but after today I have had ENOUGH. They had the audacity to charge me $10 for the fix. I came 1 week before and paid $115 for the nails ($15 tip) and then they broke within a week. Long story short it's very evident they didn't care if I'm their customer or not. I had a special evening planned with friends and I was 1.5 late because of my nails. I should have never waited for them! You live and learn, but NEVER again will I come to this shop. read more

Quick and easy brow and lip wax on my lunch break. She did a great job! I'll definitely be back.

This salon is my favorite salon I have been to, and I have been to like 10 but this is the only one that has kept my business. I Get french tip nails and they are always done well by Le and Katie. They are long lasting even with all the banging I do with my hands. I would recommend this salon to anyone. They make you feel welcome with something to drink. I gave it four star because I have not tried everything. read more

Bought two pedicures and a gel manicure. For the pedicure I payed extra for both of us to have massages. She barely massaged me and applied ZERO pressure. The gel manicure was peeling and curling up within 5 days. And the chrome layer she applied on top was coming off within 24 hours of the serivce. Iv had fake nails and many many manicures and know how to make my nails last at least 2/3 weeks without breaking, cracking or chipping. read more

Rainbow Nails is the best!! My mom and I go here for Jenny. Great service and GREAT mani/pedis!

I've been coming here for many years and have always been pleased with the work and atmosphere of the women here. However, under new management the nail salon has run it's course. It's new chairs cannot compensate for the new employees. I will not be returning. read more

I have done a review before but had to do one again! My shellac mani is AWESOME today. I don't know what some of these bad reviews are talking about. The salon is always clean and the ladies guarantee their work. If there is ever chipping or lifting I stop in and they fix it right away with no charge. It can get busy because lots of people walk in and so they have to juggle. But if you are a walk in then I don't think you should complain if you have a short wait. There are brand new chairs and fresh paint. There is a wide variety of color and I have had nothing but superior service. Highly recommend this place! read more

I have been going to this nail salon for several years and for several reasons. One, because the two main women that run the place, Lee & Katie are two of the most amazing, talented ladies I have ever came across in the nail industry!! They can do nails like you wouldn't believe. They speak English incredibly well, which I know is a deterrent for some when deciding on where to get your nails, feet, eyebrows, and whatever else done. Two, they just did a gorgeous revamp of the salon. Brand new pedicure chairs, new couch and rearranged the place, it looks fabulous. Three, they listen when you ask for specific requests or things you want done to your nails or feet. Most places just shake their heads yes and act like they know what your saying and then they do whatever they want. And not even taking into consideration for your needs or wants. They offer free beverages and entertainment if your there on the right day. I usually leave there with my stomach hurting from all the laughter. They essentially want to make sure the customer ultimately is happy when they leave their salon. That in itself makes me keep coming back for more. So thank you Rainbow nails for always making me smile and feeling super sexy when I leave your salon. Kudos to the fabulous staff you have. Keep up the great work! :) read more

Went here for a pedicure and ended up getting the worst I've ever had. My nails are uneven, so short they hurt, and just look terrible. The techs were so pushy - no I don't want the deluxe pedicure, snowflakes, lip wax, or manicure. I was so over it I didn't even let my nails dry before I put my socks on so I could get out of there. My two friends didn't have as bad of an experience so it may be the tech that helped me. Still super bummed my relaxing pedicure turned out to be a flop. read more

Do NOT get waxed here!! I have been here a number of times for waxing and have always been happy...until today. The woman took me to the back and had me lie down on a rickety table that almost fell over when I sat on it. It is currently 29 degrees outside and the heat was not working in the building, so it was really cold. The woman who did my waxing took me to the little back room while the customer whose nails she was working on made a phone call. She was in a huge rush and literally slapped the wax on my face. She grabbed my face and jerked it from side to side as she waxed each brow. The wax felt too hot, but I didn't say anything. She waxed my brows quickly, then did my upper lip, which hurt. She did nothing to help it feel better, like applying pressure after removing the wax, which everyone knows is what they are supposed to do. When she was done, she showed me my brows in a dirty mirror and it didn't even look like she had done anything. I asked her to clean up a small area on one brown and she said no and gave some BS reason about my other brow being too thick and they wouldn't look the same and that someone had messed up the last time I had them done. I paid and left, angry and upset. When I got home, about 10 minutes later, I looked in the mirror and there are welts all over my face where she waxed. I am about to call and demand my money back, likely with no luck. I feel like they must have new management and the quality and care of this place has gone downhill fast. Do not go here!! I would give no stars if that was an option. read more

I have been to many nail salons to get full set acrylic manicures, plain gel manicures, and pedicures up until now I have never been to a down right terrible salon. Rainbow nails is the worst salon to go to if you are have sensitive nails or if you are sensitive to any form of torture on the hands. I went in on a Sunday to get my acrylic nails taken off for my ceramics class and instead of soaking my nails in acetone or wrapping them in tin foil with cotton balls soaked in acetone, they tried to barbarically rip my acrylics off. they pried them off using an unused fake nail by shimming it in between my nail and the fake nail, which are glued together extremely securely. I then asked them to soak my nails instead because two of my nails started to literally bleed but they told me "It takes to long this is the best way" (I Think not!). After a couple more minutes of this special form of torture they split the nail of my ring finger in half! so I told them I wanted to go somewhere else and they coaxed me into staying saying they would be more gentle. In the end being more gentle meant they would leave some of the fake nail on and just paint over it, needless to say it was the worst salon experience of my life and currently my nails are still trying to recover and chip often. Their customer service was none existent and they did a terrible job of painting, however they did have a large collection of nail polish colors which is probably where their name comes from. read more
