Relocating from a different state to Hillsboro, I did my due diligence in finding a quality nail salon. I decided on Isse Salon. They did not disappoint from their reviews & actually I was surprisingly more impressed with the skill level of their techs especially Sue & Anna who did my gel manicure/pedicure. The whole staff are wonderful, nice people including the owners who you can see cares about their clients & customer service. The salon is clean & well maintained with a relaxing ambiance. They are also a full service salon that offer other services such has facials, waxing, & haircuts. They aren't the cheapest salon around Hillsboro but you receive the quality work for what you pay. I would highly reccomend especially for any newcomers to Hillsboro. read more

On a whim I decided I wanted to get a pedicure, so I looked online to see if appointments were available same day and I was able to select one for an hour later. It was super easy to book online and I received a confirmation of my requested time within minutes. I don't know about you but I love when I don't have to call a place to book. I truly appreciate the convenience and reliability of online booking. I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment time and I was greeted promptly and directed to choose a color. I took my time selecting a nice bright color and then was greeted by the nail technician who was super kind and attentive. I chose the organic pedicure which took about an hour and was really nice and relaxing. The atmosphere of the salon was busy but not overcrowded. They did a good job of leaving space in between clients. Overall, it was a great way to spend a hot summer afternoon. read more

Called for service to eyebrows for my daughter and he said yes they do walk-in. Daughter went online to add haircut for both of us and the lady was able to do everything for us. Nice big shop for many things and the many colors of fingernail polish is displayed nicely by front wall. Nice closed room for privacy to do the eyebrows. They are by Safeway grocery store on 25th av. And Cornell in Hillsboro , close by the airport. Thanks so much for all your help. Chris and mom from Hillsboro read more

100% amazing pedi. Fantastic service- I was VERY well taken care of. This is the first time I had gone since last summer. $60 for a gel pedi- this didn't include the cheese grater as I like to call it- an extra $10 for that- then an extra $10 for something else. And honestly - I'm not even sure what I paid for. I've never paid this much since starting to go to this salon. $80 total for a pedi... which seemed like what I got previously. They have changed their prices and things are more alacarte. Such a bummer. I only get pedi's during the summer but $80 a pop along with a 12-15 tip... that's just over the top :( sad read more

This is the best salon! I've ever been to! I came for a pedicure, the environment was so secluded, classy, and it completely takes you away from the outside world, even if just for an hour. They brought me in a mimosa and a double shot espresso. I have been to many many salons for pedicures and manicures, but this one's out of this world.!!! I recommend to all my family and friends. Is there more than a 5 star! read more

I've had really great experiences at Isse. I've been back for pedicures because the vibe is relaxing and all the work has been great. Being able to schedule appointments online is a big plus. I'm able to decide at 11pm that I want to get a pedi after work and schedule an appointment for the next day immediately. Only negative side I've seen is the high prices that aren't made the most accessible. I view trips to Isse as an occasional "treat yourself" moment where you're not worried about putting a little dent in your budget. read more

I gave them another shot and went in for a pedicure. I selected the basic pedicure at $42. They ended up charging me $83 with tip. She did hot wax and apparently that was an extra but she did not tell me that. They also charged me $10 just to use shellac polish. What a bait and Switch and a RIP OFF. It wasn't even a good pedicure (maybe 20 min long...) Save your money. read more

Let me tell you something.. I've been going to Isse salon for quite sometime but I've finally stumbled across the lady that I love for nails. Sue is hands down the best nail artist IN THERE. Her quality is unmatched and literally goes the extra mile to ensure every nail is perfect. You don't even have to look when she's doing your nails.. trust and believe everything will come out to your desire. She's such a sweet lady on top of all the incredible work she does. 10/10 for Sue I will always go back for her! read more

After a year off of mani pedi I made an appointment at Isse salon. I wanted to tackle my 'bit off' nails and calloused feet.. oh, and wooly eyebrows. When I arrived I truly didn't get the 'salon' feeling from the disorder of the premises. I wasn't greeted right away. It felt awkward. I didn't ponder about that too long. My manicure specialist walked out and she was very friendly and warm with her personality. She ushered me to a back room to do my eyebrow wax. She was fast and efficient about the wax she did a nice job and trimmed my brows well. Next was my manicure. She sat me at one of the tables and did a nice job on my tore up nails. Lastly was my pedicure. She sat me down at one of the pedi chairs. Warm water and foot soak. Then she did a good job on the pedi. I asked if they offer champagne and she told me yes and offered me some. That was nice but could have offered it to me earlier. Ok, so everything was good except the price and atmosphere. The price was outrageous considering what they gave me. I was skimped on the massage, the champagne and just the overall feeling of awesomeness. In the end it all was quite depressing. 2&1/2 hours of my life It cost me $135 for these services and I felt like it should have been better considering what this place is pretending to be and how much they charge. So expensive Ended up depressed about the whole ordeal. Could've been a lot better- That's all I've got to say. read more

It's been awhile. Happy with my shellac pedicure with Bi. Great service. Like everything else in life the cost has definitely risen which is a bummer. Definitely not something I can do monthly but definitely can before events and vacations and I highly recommend Bi. read more

They do a good job. But don't answer phone. Had to drive there to get an apt. Mailbox full. Poor management.

This place has outrageous prices, and their quality of work is questionable. $140 for a fill with a basic pedicure with gel. They also took over 3 hours!! The nail tech stopped to take in another client and then came back to do my nail art which made the process so much longer. I wanted a basic flower design and she didn't have the skill to do it and didn't listen to what I wanted at all. Such a waste of time and money. There is much better nail salons in the area, I won't be back. read more

I would recommend double checking or even triple checking the cost of service before you begin and be ready when you find out it is triple the price you were quoted. The add services that you aren't asking for and charge at theof your visit. The treat the employees awful and the customers worse. Ruthless business. read more

Gorgeous and soothing salon with a total spa vibe. Everything from the music and lighting to modern massage chairs (no dangling remote!) and wonderful service makes this my favorite spot. Ignore the poor reviews. This place is top notch. read more

First time here and I will be returning. Covid is a challenging time and I commend this business on their safety and rules. When you walk in, you are greeted by staff members wearing masks. I think even gloves but I wasn't paying much attention to that. What caught my attention is that they check your temperature on arrival and immediately have you go wash your hands with soap and water. FANTASTIC! Staff was great at following social distancing. People were not sitting together unless they were in the same party. I was happy that I could sit next to my sister and chat (masks on) otherwise everyone was seated a seat or two away. I absolutely love how my pedicure and manicure turned out. I felt comfortable throughout my visit and will definitely recommend this to anyone that has been hesitant due to covid. read more

This place just charged my daughter $102 for her nails. What an absolute joke. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We have spent thousands of dollars there as a family, and when the kid goes in by yourself without mom, suddenly they charge her like that? Hell no! Stay away!!! read more

little bit spendy, but the nail tech who did my pedicure was so nice and the color selection was amazing. it was hard to choose because all the colors were really unique and pretty. i had a mimosa and that was lovely as well. would definitely go back! read more

I drive 2.5 hours to get my manicure and pedicures done here. The staff are always so nice and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Participated in the Yelp party and it was a lot of fun. The whole salon was involved and playing a bingo game and I won the first round. I felt very pampered and well taken care of. They insisted on fixing my nails that I just had done a few days before and my toes now match too my manicure was done by Jenny and my pedicure was done by Veronica. I'll definitely be back! read more

My first experience was amazing, I had sun (xuen?) As my nail technician and she was amazing. Her attention to detail to the shape and color was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have been happier! I came back a few weeks later and had Katherine as my technician. It felt very rushed, she cut my cuticle on my pinky and then doused the under of my nail with super glue. You could clearly see where my fill was done on every single nail as she didn't buff and blend it enough. She seemed stressed, it was busy. I scheduled another set for a few weeks out with sun. read more

I am always on the hunt for a go-to dip place in the cities I frequent. I switched from gel to dip a couple years ago and recommend this; it allows for the nails to grow longer with increased protection, is better for the nails, no uv exposure, and is a quicker, cleaner process. Isse Salon does a great dip, I go out of my way to align my trips to the area for when I need to get my nails done. Van is incredible, very precise and excellent at what she does. The color selection is overwhelming in the best possible way. The ambiance of the salon has the mood lighting that I dig, bringing on a very relaxed environment to compliment the self care we come to experience. read more

I was visiting from the Bay Area and had an extremely difficult time finding a salon to style my hair for a wedding. I called Isse in the morning and they were able to fit me in immediately. My appointment was at 1:30 and I had to wait 30 min before they started. The same thing happened my previous appt. 30 min wait. This is the best nail salon in the area. The ladies here care about their work and do an amazing job. They are all at various degrees of learning English and it's nice that they try to talk to you and don't just speak amongst themselves. I actually rarely hear them speak anything other than English. I've always loved how my nails turned out after leaving this salon, but today was very unpleasant. The man who did my acrylic fill must have been new, as he was very rough and someone had to come tell him to be more gentle. This was after he cut my skin under my nail to the point that it bled. And then we were charged a different price than what we were told prior to coming in. We were not aware of a 10% increase in price (not included in the price on the boards) for a COVID-19 tax/fee? Not cool. So a shellac manicure and shellac fill for acrylics was $91 freaking dollars!! That's insane. I paid more for a fill here than for a full set. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon. I am very disappointed to say the least. read more

Made an appointment on Sunday morning and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. My nail tech, Marisol was the sweetest gal and very attentive. She made sure I had something to drink and we had a great chat about work/family. She took her time with my nails and her hand massage was dreamy. I think I found my new nail salon. The atmosphere was very calming, dark space with dim lighting and the nail selection is what you'd think it would be. I asked for fall/Disney villain vibes and I got exactly that. read more

Today, I had Daisy do a lovely pedicure and massage! I felt very Covid comfortable and the place is classy. SOMEHOW, I scuffed my toenail polish a few hours later and they happily took care of that at no charge! I will be back and tell others to go here, too! My only regret is that I didn't leave an even bigger tip, because they couldn't make change...next time! read more

Didn't make my nails even lengths and when I asked to trim down a couple nails to make it even the nail tech refused. Heavy on the drilling, drilled on my skin behind the nail when cutting down with the drill, barely checking lengths. The drilled area feels like a skin burn now and during that process chunk of nail tip got in my eye. The polish and shaping was rushed and careless, every single nail is different and uneven, with splotches of polish on the back of the nail and cuticle area. The lady was pretty rude and pushy as well. I have been getting my nails done for years now, and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had, first time I've felt a need to leave a review. I'm sure there are other techs who are wonderful there, but this experience with Nicole felt worth warning others about. I will not be going back. read more

I would NOT reccommend this business. they are priced way too high. They remodeled for the 2nd time and the consumer is paying for it! in this day and age where everything is sky high, it's not time to raise prices over 20% more than they were a month ago! I won't be back! read more

This has been my regular salon off and on for a few years. I find everyone there to be very professional. Salon is clean and relaxing atmosphere. Fantastic experience! They really take your experience to the next level here. Definitely left here feeling pampered and appreciated. Everyone on staff appeared happy to be here. I'm really picky about my brows, but I went in and asked right away if I should get them done now or wait a bit so I could grow them out. (Backstory: My eyebrows had gone through a hack job when I decided to try a new place at a cheaper rate and I expected it'd take a miracle to whip my brows back in shape) Lynn said she'd take a better look at them and give me her honest opinion. My gosh, the turnaround ended up AMAZING! She took extra care to make sure I got the look I was going for and I couldn't have been happier with them. I've attached before and afters. read more

Every time you go, even if you get the EXACT same thing, you are charged drastically different prices. This happened a couple times, and I didn't keep track, but it was a pattern so I decided to put them to the test, to be sure. I went and got a pedicure, the most basic pedicure, regular nail polish, no wax....100% basic. I got charged $45. I came back *exactly* 2 weeks later, asked for the *exact* same thing......I was charged $86! When I asked about the major price difference, I was told that has always been the price. I won't be back. They literally make up the prices as they go and it depends on which person you go to as well. Smh. read more
