Yikes. I wanted a simple ombre pink and white dip powder full set. It was my first time here. My nail tech-Amy- seemed to be a bit flustered, stressed, irritated, and unknowledgeable with the process or at least that's how it seemed. Even though she tried not to show it. I told her the issue I would like to avoid- the edges always chip and lift after a week and I would like to get another week out of them if possible. When gluing the tips on she rushed through it, didn't size them appropriately, and only applied glue to the middle and didn't ensure the nails were completely glued on the edges. She stopped and left the station multiple times to gather different things and a certain point it seemed she chose to stop the process entirely to just finish with a rushed airbrushed version that looks terrible. She didn't communicate with me about her struggle to complete my request for dip ombré nails, or ask me if I would be ok with an airbrushed result. She just did it, leaving white paint all over my hands that would not come off for over an hour. I expected to pay around $60-65 max. So when I was told 74.00. I walked out paying 84.00 after tip for SIMPLE dip nails that were unprofessionally done with a stressed/unknowledgeable tech. I don't know if it was me, the day, the customer before me or what happened to make me receive the experience I did but I won't be back for a fill repair or replacement , just to pay overblown prices and walk out with nails I'm not happy with. It's been three days since getting them done and of course the edges are cracking, peeling and lifting. it's now very obvious she did not ensure quality of the tip fit or anything else as it looks like I need a fill, and repair, but probably better off with a full replacement of all nails....after 3 days. But like I said, Im not going back just to pay the same amount for poor results again. read more

Pros: The ambience is nice and the staff are very friendly. You get a complimentary beverage, (can choose wine) which was really nice. Cons: Both me and my friend got gel pedicures. Mine looked great, but after one week, the gel polish came completely off of two nails. My friend's gel polish on the big toe ended up super dented and looked bad. We assume that they had us leave while it was still wet. I wont go back, as I have never had gel polish come off so quickly. read more

I had such a great experience here! I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure, and Amy took amazing care of me from start to finish. She was super detail oriented and made sure everything looked perfect. The best part honestly was the hand and foot massage... SO relaxing and exactly what I needed. You can tell she really takes pride in her work and wants her clients to feel taken care of. Hands down one of the best nail experiences I've had. I'm updating my review because my dipped nails lasted me 3 weeks without chipping and could have lasted me longer, but I needed to make them shorter and was tired of the new growth. I was still getting compliments up until I got them removed! 21 days later. I got a normal manicure for upkeep reasons and they look SO good. Julie's Nails is a newer salon (I first discovered it because I would see the signs by Fred Meyer's during my daily commute). The interior is beautiful and pretty modern. I've had Alex and Muy do my nails the last two times and they're great. These were my most recent nails where I asked for almond, chrome and a few design (from Muy). For a whole month, these nails pretty much never lifted which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on your preferences. This nail salon is quieter and more peaceful than some others I go to (the techs don't talk to each other very much in their own language). I had tried various techs and they are all professional and had good technical skills. They give you a discount with doing pedi and Mani at the same time. I would recommend making an appointment before going. Otherwise, you might need to hang around for an hour just to get your nails done. i am about to go to my 3rd appt tomorrow and just absolutely love this salon. prices are fair & so beyond worth it. i have had my nails done by Alex and Leah and they were both amazing and nice to chat with a bit. the only thing i wish was a bit different is there being entertainment or TVS in the salon. sometimes it's awkward to not be able to look at much of anything except the salon, your nails being done or people. such a cute place and vibe, a very lovely form of self care. lots of color options - i would recommend this place to everyone & going to continue going! read more

First time here and i'm very disappointed, the quality is not matched with the prices. Tammy rushed with my nails, I was only going to get 1 coat of nude before my french tip if I didn't request for another. I also didn't pick my base coat because she picked what she felt would look best but I dont like it in my opinion, I would have done a softer pink not a nude. I could still see my natural nails under as she was attempting to put the French tip on and seemed annoyed with me when asking if she could do another so I wouldn't see my natural nails under under the design. Design was rushed and did not look like the inspo picture at all, I just wanted hearts that looked like cherry, very simple heart design with some lines and it looked very sloppy. I didn't realize short gel x nails was 65$ ontop of 10$ for french tips and 16$ for a very sloppy and rushed design. I understand if the quality was there but it simply was not and I am very disappointed with the outcome. From the moment I walked in I should have known it would have been a bad experience. They had me check in and I was about to be seated for a pedi and a full set, however they changed it to coming back 30 min later (Then they said it would only take 20 not the 30, however it actually took them 40 minutes). They had me sit in a massage chair to wait and the receptionist asked if I wanted anything to drink (I told him a mimosa and he walked away) he returned just to tell me I will be getting it when I actually begin services. I kindly said okay. Another person then brought me my mimosa (shortly after the receptionist said I needed to wait). As I'm getting my massage and waiting patiently, a worker that was working on someone else's feet told the receptionist to turn on my water while I wait so I can at least soak my feet, he was clearly upset and I felt as if I was a nuisance. I did get a pedicure ($70 one where you can choose the fragrance which I can't remember the name). The massage felt amazing, however she rounded one bit toe and didn't do a corner of my nail which made it look weird and the other big toe good. On the rest of the toes she did miss some spots. The same lady began to remove my previous nails and asked two workers if they could finish my nails. Both said no, however she stated the second person she asked was going to finish doing my nails (which he seemed bothered and kept telling her no. And it made me feel uncomfortable). I was doing a simplistic ombré. He then he continued to remove my nails and asked me to move stations so he can continue his service. He wanted my nails to be long, however I told him I wanted them shorter, yet he still tried to convince me to keep them long. I then told him I wanted them short as I showed him how short. He didn't listen and cut them to the length he wanted and said he won't go shorter otherwise he can't do an ombré (other nail salons have been able to do ombré nails on the length I was requesting so I didn't see why it was an issue). Before he began to paint I told him I would just get a solid color on my nails if it would be too difficult for him, but I wanted my nails shorter. He then stated "are you seriousl, fine I'll cut them shorter! And the whole time he was doing my nails be was with an upset look. He spray painted my ombré, which is different, however he didn't clean up my hands (which was around my nails, under my fingers, and on my wrist). The hot pink butterfly on my left hand was not included (only included it in on my right hand) he only used light pink butterflies. My clear nails look as if they're already chipping. When he was done, he just walked away and left me there. As I walk to the front reception area to pay, the was ignored and I was waiting patiently until the receptionist asked rudely "do you need something!?!" At this point I was annoyed of how unprofessional, rude, and the work they did, so I said "uh, yeah! To pay!" Just with that remark and how rude they were I was tempted to walk out, however I continued to pay without a tip. My tip is for people to go elsewhere for better service; my nails started to lift two days later. Definitely not good quality. My only positive view on this place is that the mimosa was good, the chair is nice and has a charger. But for $160 I've received better service. I guess you're paying for the look of the place. read more

Which was a good move cause I was over it. 2 stars is for the lady that took over she was pleasant and tried to fix what the other nail tech couldn't do which was just hybrid gel nails. Salon was very clean I can see the other ladies were super friendly to their customers not sure if I'll go back and give it another try with another tech that can do and likes to do hybrid gel. Their pedicure chairs have WiFi charging on the tables, hand and arm massagers, back and leg massagers. They have a long list of complimentary beverages including champagne. Made her wait in the chair for 40 mins before the nail tech came back. and then the tech proceeded to work on someone elses nails before coming back and saying it needs more time to take the nails off. Wonderful spa treatments. I had a pedicure and a manicure.......first time doing that for me. I felt like a queen. Everything was very friendly and kind. The pedicure was absolutely amazing.......the service was definitely a pampering session with massage chairs, a mimosa, and a deep foot soak with a massage. This place was okay, I won't go back again. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because they had alcoholic beverages. The pedicure and the manicure gel polish was awful. They didn't cut my cuticles and they didn't clean up the paint on my skin on my toes. The layer was chunky it looks uneven. I found a better place and won't be returning. read more
