Kim who owns the salon overcharged me on my first visit last week. I camevin just now to have two minor repairs and asked her to provide a breakdown of my last visit. I couldn't get a straight answer from her. Essentially I was overcharged $20. I asked her to credit that toward my next visit. She kept denying she did anything wrong saying she checks her numbers twice. I tallied it from her posted prices. Overcharged $20. She proceeded to argue with me. So beware. I am so happy I found this place. I moved to the area about a year ago and have been seeing them since. The salon is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the technicians are amazing! I have gotten nail art a few times and they have done an incredible job each time. You can see in the picture what I got done for the holidays once. The technicians are nice, fun to talk with, gentle, and are genuinely good people! I know that when I come here that I am going to be taken care of. In the light of COVID-19 they are also doing an amazing job at maintaining a clean and safe environment for their customers. I thought i had found good place as i recently moved to the area but i am wrong! it felt like they're rushing through my appointment, i had simple shellac manicure done. It looked good at first but by day 3 it starting peeling off & chips and by day 5 nearly half of them is peeling. which is not acceptable for shellac/gel manicure as it should last 2+ weeks. if you want simple manicure dont fo there as they wont do good job. I just left this salon on 10/03/22 and the result is shown in the pictures below I walked in for a simple removal of my nails that weren't even a real acrylic set and were done with regular polish not gel. I was charged $25.00 for what you see In the pictures she didn't file my nails or paint them at all just a removal of a half finished set with regular polish. It's easy to say I will never be going back to this salon as this is no more than a $10 service no matter what salon you go to and this place is nothing special to say the least save your time and money. read more

They just recently created an online booking system so it's easier than ever now to book appointments and choose the nail artist you prefer. I always get the gel manicure and they're willing to do any type of nail art I request. They're always on schedule and I've never had to wait if I made an appointment and come on time. Parking is easy since they have their own dedicated lot and this location is fairly easy to get to since it's right off the 217. I went here today on a whim because it had decent ratings. I've never been so unhappy with my nails. It wasn't cheap...probably most expensive fill I've had yet. But I never have a problem paying top dollar for good work. This was awful. None of my nails are the same shape. The paint is thick, uneven, and splotchy. Besides the amateur results I received...the people were so incredibly rude. Said they didn't have time to produce ombré on my nails but I was the only customer in the building...even upon departure. What caused me to write this was review was the fact that while buffing my nails so was so rough, I feel like I have a sprained middle finger. Also, she was so careless while filing with the buffer she filed down the skin on my hands. This isn't like an accidental over-site she was going to town, flopping the buffer almost down to my wrist. Wish I had a photo of that.. it looked like I had never used hand lotion. Ever. To sum everything up, I doubt to get a response or an apology via Yelp. I just want people to know...don't go here. I chose the upgraded "Spa" Pedicure with the expectation of a little bit more massage treatment with the hot stones. Not only did I NOT get the basic leg/feet massage, but LAN basically touched and glided the (not very) hot stones to my skin. She lathered on the lotion before that, also without any kind of pressure or "massage". I had to interrupt her and question if there was supposed to be some massage involved as (I double-checked the menu) and it read Hot Stone & foot & leg massage. Lan said "after", I would get the massage. She finished with the stones and pretty much started to prep my toenails for painting?!! Meanwhile the lady with the $27 classic pedicure to my left had been getting a leg massage the ENTIRE time I was getting my "extra" treatment/massage. My daughter to my right with the $27 classic pedicure also got a very enjoyable leg & foot massage. I feel my $40 VOESH spa pedicure was a complete rip off. I'm not sure I would come back or recommend this nail spa. If I did, it's only because of the reviews with certain ladies. We were booked for pedicures with Teresa and Jeanny but ended up with Lan and Tia. My daughter added on a manicure with Jeanny. To be fair, they were friendly and I got a glass of wine with my treatment, but honestly, I can put lotion on my own legs for free! But even a (1/3 of an 8oz plastic cup) of white wine doesn't justify paying the extra $13 and getting denied a basic leg/foot massage that's standard with most pedicures. Update: I just reread the review from Alexcia K. getting a 30 minute leg/foot massage --it was posted 5 yrs ago!!! DAMMIT! My oversight/mistake... ugh!
