My sister and I got turned away from our usual Westside of town nail salon. So after a quick search we found Lena Nails. They answered the phone number we called and got us in quickly. My sister had a mani&pedi, I had a gel manicure. I felt like cattle ,the gal must be the owner or manager, They were a few minutes late in opening. I had this person race through my manicure, leaving traces of the color on my nails I came in with. For $40 plus tip they should take a little more time with patrons. Went in for a gel removal and regular manicure. She left a ton of crud on my nails like old nail polish, and didn't buff the damaged top layer from taking off the gel. I haven't been in probably a year, but my daughter wanted nails to start the new school year so I gave in and took her to my favorite nail salon. I have been going here for years! I was happy that with school starting in a few weeks there was no wait! She got her nails done and I paid almost $50... seemed a little high but I figured I had not had mine done in a year so I guess the price went up. I did not inspect her nails as I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to take her at all but it was the last day she could go before school starts. Three days after having them done she said one just came off, so I looked at her nails. They didn't moisturize her hand, soak her cuticles or trim cuticles... I have honestly done a better job myself with an at home kit. . The nails look like she has 4 weeks of growth and it's been 3 days!!!!!! Needless to say I wasn't happy, but being as I have been many many times over the years I decided to sum it up to a mistake. I took her back today and asked for them to fix it. They replaced the one nail that broke off and repainted the others. Didn't fill in anything or clean up the cuticles that I mentioned to them. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere from now on. All the pictures are from today 8/17/2018.... four days after having the nails done and right after they "fixed" it. Update: 8/22/18 Hardly a week after having them done two more nails popped off. My daughter then pulled the rest off like press on nails. I have had my nails done several times and it's painful to try to remove them yourself. This is beyond the worst job I have ever seen done. I was impressed with pedicure I received. For $35 they apply sea salt scrub, paraffin hot wax and do hot stone massage. You won't be disappointed! Update: after continuing to use these guys for several months I learned that it's better to not go before closing or not at all. They will do a crap, rushed job and cause damage to your real nails. They will not even apologize for the damage caused and accuse you of being a complainer. Rather than apologize they'll invite you to not come back, shocking to hear as a regular customer and still demand payment for the poor service. Many other better options to choose from! read more

After changing jobs, I needed to find a new nail salon closer to home and work. I stopped in here on a Sunday when I had a couple of spare hours. I was not disappointed. I settled on the deluxe pedicure and regular manicure as they were having a special. For $35, I got a pedi with a sea salt scrub,paraffin hot wax, hot stone massage, foot masquerade, and a cooling foot gel. And it made my mani a couple bucks cheaper! There were 4 girls working and all of them were busy. The shop was clean and smelled pleasantly. When i arrived, I was greeted promptly and the pedicure menu was given to me and services and prices explained. I was shown the complementary drink menu which includes soda, tea, coffee, and wine! I opted for a diet coke, which was waiting in an ice cold can at my chair by the time I picked my polish out. They do use clean files for each client, so if you don't have your own you have to buy one for $1. I happen to have my own kit with me because nail funk worries me, but it was nice to see they actually follow generally accepted sanitary practices. No lame nail art posters here, think more hotel decor. Tasteful, mellow. The girls were very nice, but not chatty. They offer waxing services in addition to nails that i did not partake in. I will be back in for sure. Only negatives: some of the girls speak very little English so communication a specific request proved too difficult and i just gave up. Very nice, but language barrier. Also, I ended up short my cooling foot mask... Not that it was a huge deal. With that many services, I had a hard time keeping track what came in what order. read more

This place is now in my top 3, after coming here while waiting for a client meeting. 25 percent off what I would consider regular salon prices, for services M-TH. Jackpot. Friendly girls that don't do TONS of speaking to one another in their native language and make me feel uncomfortable? Not a have to have, but a nice plus. I had a full set put on, and I was in, and out, in just under an hour- I got the solar nails because I love the glittery tips, and I paid 35 dollars after tip, I believe. The salon seems clean and with good prices, located right by one of thos Sushi Hana's. The only thing I noticed they could improve from my one visit so far, is their massage/pedicure chairs seem to be more outdated/old than other salons I have visited. Small detail though. read more

I didn't feel as though she was rushing at all even though they were almost closed and she offered me a drink which was sweet. she took her time to cut/clean my cuticles very carefully making sure she got everything. This place is a pure gem. I came in for a pedicure and set of acrylics, and was greeted by the owner herself. She was very pleasant and attentive. I had my five year old brother with me and she even let him sit in "the cool massage chair." She was cracking jokes and gave me an amazing pedicure, not once did she clip my skin either. We were offered free drinks upon sitting down as well. The only complaint I have is when a different person started my acrylics. He didn't match two nails to the rest and they looked square but I didn't say anything. I went to target, accidentally messed the paint, and came back asking for a quick fix, where a woman repainted my two messed up nails and I mentioned the shape which she then fixed for me! I went in yesterday for a pedicure. I cut my toenails myself so really all they need to do is file and paint. I told them I just wanted the express which is listed for $25.00. She kept trying to get me to upgrade or get a manicure as well. No, just the express service. When I was done she said I owed $40.00. I said no I just wanted the express. She said Gel polish was $15.00 extra. Wow, I could by a couple of bottles for that. They should have told me that before she put it on. Other places charge $5.00 extra for Gel polish. Made an appointment at noon. Came in a few minutes before and was asked to wait which is more than okay especially since they apologized! However I ended up waiting 45 minutes. Had I know this, I would have scheduled for later in the day or another day. Additionally, I had a gift card given to me during Christmas which is the reason I went to get my nails done. I regret not throughly checking more before despite being told the gift card could be redeemed, but upon checkout, the gift card was not honored due to the change in owners which is understandable, but I still wish a little courtesy was given in some capacity since it differed from what I was told. A 50% discount was offered but then not applied to the total, so my set of acrylics ended up being $60. Since the appointment was running 45 minutes late to begin with, I didn't have the time to hassle through things, but I just would've appreciated a little better customer service given the wait and other circumstances. I do like my nails and wish I had a better experience as this place is super convenient for me and the owner and staff are super nice and friendly, but given how other people also seemed to be waiting a long time and my 45 minute wait, I can't return to a place that does not value the time of customers and doesn't provide any type of courtesy. read more

The older lady that did my pedicure was in a hurry as I walked in at 6:30pm...they close at 7pm! She told me I could only get the basic pedi and did a poor job at that! There was paint left on my skin, she never made my heels very smooth and massaged my calf for about five minutes! I called twice and left a message with the manager, so this type of service could be improved for the next customer she works on. However the manager must not care very much about improving the quality of work that her employees do as she never took the time to call me back. I will not waste my time going back! read more

Absolutely horrible. I came in shortly after they opened and asked for a spa pedicure and dip manicure. They showed me to a seat and began my pedicure when they realized they had people who made appointments online coming in so they cut my pedicure short (no paraffin, no massage) and rushed through my paint (a color which I told them I wanted to change long before they started painting). They didn't put my shoes on or anything between my toes before they painted so my paint smeared. Then they asked me to come back in 2 hours for the manicure. Unbelievable. Lena and team are AMAZING. My girlfriends and I originally had an appointment at another nail salon (unique nails and they messed up our appointment.) In a panic we called Lena gel nails and said they would absouley take us. Assuming we'd have to take turns (which was fine!) Shortly but surely not even 15 mins more staff came in and sat down 5 of us and a child. Did all of our nails and pedicures within 2 hours. Complimentary mimosas and overall SUCH a great welcoming experience. The other salon was so rude not wanting to help us fix the issue.
