An update with new ownership.... This place still does amazing work. My feet were worked on without judgement. They were a mess. He carefully and completely transformed them. Was able to make an appointment for the next day and was happy to find a place open Sundays. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment which didn't start until about ten minutes after the time they gave (not a huge deal..). When it came time to pay their card reader wasn't working so I had to go to the bar next door and use the ATM, which included a fee. My nails look great, and had it not been for the late start and ATM issue I would have given five stars. read more

My first time here I eeded a last minute appt and I was able to get in the same day on my time which was so appreciated. I have super thin nails so I got a thin layer of acrylic topped with gel polish. I really like them, good conversation and my nails look and feel great! Update: I have had my nails done for 5 days after placing my raving review I am just disappointed. I called because I noticed some discoloration she claimed it was my fault and there is nothing i can do about it and i would have to pay for a color change, a full set isn't cheap and i gave a fantastic tip! She doesn't want to fix them and I think that's very poor service. As a customer after a few days I don't see why pleasing your customer isn't an option as I was told I could come back if anything went wrong but she proceeded to blame me. At first wasn't to bad but it's gotten worse, I have gotten my nails done for years and have not experienced this. Love this place. Found this hidden gem in Tigard. Nice, quiet and relaxing. Love that there is not a bunch of people there therefore it's way more relaxing! I had the whole place to myself! They are very well prepared to deal with covid with all there safety precautions and I felt safe since this is my first mani pedi since covid started!! ! I was very impressed!! Love love love this place. Its so sweet that a husband and wife alone own operate this business. They are wonderful and do such a great job. They always remember your name... Have a stamp card and she can do any design/nail art you think of! I always google cute ideas on my phone and show her and she does them perfectly (even on shellac!). Ok this place is not fancy at all. But I absolutely love it. I only come here for pedis but my friends get acrylic here and they even model jewelry with their hands and nails! I love getting my toes done here! They are perfectly square, not too short and not too long! Also the foot massage with the pedi is literally like 10 min long! That in itself is worth it! I called and the gentlemen told me to come by in 15 min. I got there in about 10 and he was just finishing up with a client. He immediately greeted me and sat me in a chair. He was the only one working, the only other employee was away at the time and came back shortly later. He provided a great pedicure with reasonable price. The shop is owned by a married couple that speaks great English and are very personable. Their prices are unbeatable-a shellac manicure for just $20 is a steal these days. They have a plentiful selection of both regular and shellac polishes, and have four luxurious chairs with foot spas for pedicures. This was my first visit to Artisan Nails - what a pleasant treat. I had a pedicure and solar nails/mani. The service was quick and my nails looked great. The foot massage was disappointing, not much more than a quick rub down followed by a 5 -10 second steamed towel to used to wipe off the lotion. The nails look great and very natural. Artisan will be my permanent nail salon, however I think I'll skip the pedicure. The man and wife team were very engaging and it was a busy salon. They knew everyone's name - it reminded me of an old neighborhood barber shop where some good conversations were had and everyone got real personalized service. Customer service at it's best - there's probably 10 nail salons with 2 miles of home - I can get my nails done anywhere, but honestly it is customer service that makes the difference - thanks Artisan! read more
