I ADORE Sunday. I've only been a couple of times, but it's always on my list for recommendations when I have friends going to STA. It's a pretty spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love sitting by the window so you can watch outside and enjoy the lovely views. The food is just simple and fantastic -- everything is fresh, there's some fun and unique twists, and it's just so dang good. Everything I've ordered (and all of friends' dishes that I've tried) is great. Service is on point and everyone is super friendly and kind. They have coffee and alcoholic treats depending on what you're looking for. The hibiscus mimosa was a cool surprise and I really enjoyed the flavor - not sweet, but floral.

This is located very near the fort in Saint Augustine and near the fountain of youth. There was a nice breeze outside, and we sat on the patio. The umbrella provided enough shade to keep us comfortable. They also have indoor seating. The food came out promptly and I loved the vegetable root hash!

Beautiful Brunch Spot adjacent to the Historic district of Saint Augustine (SA). This breakfast spot is in the San Marco neighborhood. The parking nearby is 2 hour on side streets, but if you need a parking garage there's one not too far. I highly recommend ordering a French press of coffee! It's very delicious! You will get 3 cups of high quality coffee to share at the table or have all to yourself. As far as dining al fresco, the front courtyard is beautiful! However, on our trip it was too cold to dine outside. We were seated at a large table inside that accommodated our large group. They had several tables inside, but I could see on a busy Sunday or Saturday morning this place would get waitlisted quickly. Everyone loved their meals. No complaints. I ordered the lobster roll. It was very good, but I would try something different on a return visit. The salads coming out looked amazing! Everyone at my table raved about their meals: Shukshuka, BALT, Benedicts, cinnamon rolls. Every single thing was enjoyed!

We visited Sunday on a Monday morning (ironically) around 9:30am for breakfast. We were looking for something quick to eat and close to our hotel before starting the day, and this was a very pleasant surprise. This place is tucked away in a house. They have a pretty patio with a fountain out front, and the inside is decorated with some beautiful art that's also for sale! I like the style of the interior here, it's charming but doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. I was looking for something on the lighter side, so I got the mushroom toast without the goat cheese. The bread here was very good, and the dish was really well balanced overall. I loved the cured lemon, it was the perfect touch of acid to complete the dish. We also got a cinnamon bun which was delicious. There were mimosas all around, and we were happy with the serving size. I'd definitely return to Sunday, it's a really nice and simple start to the day. They've got a good variety of heavier and lighter options. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Sunday has been on my list to try for a while, so when we were going to be passing through Saint Augustine during our recent road trip, I knew this had to be our breakfast stop. It's the cutest daytime cafe & bakery located in a historic little house with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the courtyard. The interior is minimal, light, and a little boho featuring artwork by local artist Jenna Alexander, whose art studio is located behind the restaurant. Her work is phenomenal and they also have prints and & greeting cards available for purchase. They specialize in sourdough bread and toasts, eggs, sandwiches, salads, and some other baked goods. We ordered the massive cinnamon bun to share (very good), the smoked salmon toast, the B.E.C. sandwich, and a side of bacon. The bread is definitely the star of the show here and we really enjoyed everything. That bacon was especially on point! I also got their cold brew with their seasonal lavender coconut syrup, which was delish. They were also very baby friendly with high chairs readily available and a changing table in the bathroom -- necessities when you're on a road trip with a toddler. This is such a gem in Saint Augustine and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Pretty good. I had the Shakshuka and cold brew. My husband had the patty melt. The place was super cute, loved the theming. The Shakshuka was pretty good. The prices here were high for what we ultimately got in my opinion. I thought they'd have more coffee options, since their whole thing is that they have brunch all the time. Unfortunately they didn't have much variety, and I didn't love the cold brew. One of the best bites was the "chow" on my husband's plate which was a surprising tangy treat.

I came here for breakfast with my family and had high hopes based on other reviews and pics, but unfortunately it just wasn't it. Here's a breakdown: Eggs benedict: 1/5 The restaurant did not have pork so we had to substitute for regular bacon instead. The whole dish including the potatoes was cold and the hollandaise sauce also was not fresh. Bahn mi: 2/5 As pork was not available, we had to substitute with shrimp which sadly was very bland and did not go well with the sandwich. The bread also was too toasted for my liking. While there wasn't anything outrageously bad about the bahn mi, I've definitely had much better. Shakshuka: 4/5 Great flavor and cooked very nicely. I would definitely get this again!!! Only critique is again the dish was cold. Coffee: 4/5 I really enjoyed the French press coffee including the options for non-dairy milk! However, it was on the weaker side and slightly sour tasting. We will for sure need another cup of caffeine later. Overall, I may come back to try one of the toasts; however, for the price there are definitely much better plentiful options in St. Augustine.

100% recommend Sunday! We were on our way back home, after a quick weekend in St. Augustine. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before the drive, but needed a place that allowed our Dog to sit with us. Sunday, had a nice and spacious outside area. It was about to rain, but we said we didn't mind, so they cleaned one of the table, with an umbrella, for us. They offered us a blanket for our dog to lay on, and brought us and him some water. They do not have espresso machine but they do French Press and the coffee was on point. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I decided on the Salmon eggs Benedict and could not have been happier. Delicious, and the potatoes is comes with were perfection. As if that wasn't enough, I good amount of arugula salad, adding a nice fresh bite to the dish. I was not able to finish it all, so I shared with my BF. He had ordered the Shakshouka, that comes with their homemade sourdough bread. We wanted to try a dessert but ended up to full, so it will have to be another time. Even without it, we were very happy with the food and overall experience.

I stopped by Sunday on a whim and ended up having one of the most memorable solo lunches in recent memory. The vibe is relaxed but elevated. It's a clean, airy space with natural light, unfussy but stylish, and the kind of menu that makes you want to order one of everything. I went with the lobster roll and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful, topped with salmon roe that added the perfect salty pop. The chips on the side were seasoned so well! I paired it with a glass of natural riesling light, slightly funky, and super refreshing. They have a really thoughtful selection of natural wines which is rare to find done this well in a casual brunch/lunch spot. Overall, Sunday nails that sweet spot between laid back and quality driven. Whether you're going solo (like I did) or meeting friends, it's one of those places that just makes you feel good.

Very cute and trendy spot ! The accommodated our group of 8 with no reservation on a Saturday at 10am! Overall the services was good and everyone seemed to like their food. I would get the banh mi 5/5 so yummy and big portion. I wouldn't get the eggs Benedict. No flavor at all . The potatoes on the plate were the best thing on it. Pictures but didn't try were the two salads . Heard they were yummy!

Nice little spot in St Augustine, we went there on Sunday and only waited a few minutes to get a table. Menu was small but had some really nice items. Service was really good and so was the atmosphere. However the portions were small and a bit overpriced. And what killed the whole vibe for me was a 3.5 kitchen appreciation fee... Yes you can ask to have it removed but really? You can't pay your kitchen staff a proper wage? I would rather you added 3.5% to your already overpriced menu. What a shame but we won't be back.

I love this place! I'm so glad I found it. From when you walk onto the property if you feel a very welcoming vibe. The food is fresh and delicious. Homemade sourdough bread and pastries. French press coffee. Healthy options and great portions. I love the water fountain out front where we sat outside. The indoor seating was lovely also. The service was top notch. Smiles and such all around. Definitely one of my favorite spots to return to in Saint Augustine. You will love it too! read more

Best brunch spot in town. If you're looking for a picturesque setting with a well rounded menu and reliably satisfying meal, look no further. The Shakshouka is my favorite. Eggs stewed in tomato sauce with peppers and chunks of tomato. It comes with their house made sourdough bread which is so flavorful and has a nice crunchy crust. Soak it in the sauce and use it to wipe up what's left on your plate at the end :) The eggs Benedict is another favorite. Definitely recommend subbing for the salmon. Hollandaise sauce is always on point. Of course this is also served on a slice of the wonderful sourdough. Their sides go quite well with all the dishes we've tried so far. Bacon is a medium thick cut and sometimes we go for a side of pickles. Also, they sell their sourdough bread by the loaf separately! Looking forward to trying one of their sandwiches but I can't stay away from that Shakshouka to give them a try lol 10/10 every time read more

Food was pretty display but lacked substantial amount of fool. The homemade sour dough bread was thinly sliced and toasted too much. The sliver of cream cheese was put on like Mayo. The coffee was French press for 2. The eggs benedict was tasteless- No pepper nor salt on table. Service was adequate as the restaurant was empty when we arrived. If you want ambience this is a cool place withy Art paintings and cards available for purchase with a minimalistic atmosphere- free of excess and very clean Upon receiving the checked there was a request fo give the cook/chef ad extra 3.5% tip. We didn't know that a would be requested and it happened o quickly - it was awkward, and this is in my opinion objectionable. The bill for two including "tips" was 70$ insane for breakfast that left us still hungry.... read more

Found this place while driving through St Augustine over valentines weekend. My coffee came with this French press and clear glass mugs - it was a nice touch. I got the mushroom toast and 100000% recommend!!! The mushrooms and micro greens tasted so fresh, I loved it. My girlfriend got the B.E.L.T and she thought it was delicious!! They did forget the egg though... but we didn't realize that until after we left the restaurant lol. She kept saying "man this'd be perfect with an egg." 10/10 read more

Amazing food and friendly staff. After a very poor start at another local breakfast & lunch restaurant, the great food prepped to perfection by the Sunday staff was the trip turnaround. We were seated instantly and the staff was professional. Our drink order was served promptly as well as our food. The French press coffee was on point along with the meal. The smoked salmon toast was the best I've ever had. My wife's B.A.L.T sandwich was as perfect as possible. The high reviews are well earned at this gem of a restaurant with fresh onsite baked goods. The Sunday is what a locally owned restaurant should be and the kitchen staff is executing perfection! read more

Delicious shrimp cobb salad from Sunday in St. Augustine. 2 guys sitting at the bar turned out to be servers who were extremely attentive, went about 1:30ish last Saturday. Several folks happened to walk in around the same time I did and they had no issue accommodating all and appeared to be serving without issue. One of our families' favorite breakfast spots when we come for vacation. My wife usually gets the eggs benedict, I get the bacon egg and cheese and some bacon and cinnamon rolls for the kids. The portions are a good size and I feel fairly priced for what you are getting. Plenty of local shops nearby if you want to walk off your breakfast shopping. read more

The ambiance was the best part of the dining experience. It was an extremely hot day, and the AC was not working and this was still the best part! The eggs benedict my friend ordered were so overcooked and the over easy egg I had as my side was crispy and the yolk fully cooked. I wish the server was more pleasant and I was so embarrassed by my restaurant selection for my 50th birthday celebration with my two best friends. This may have been an amazing place with palatable food, though I will not be giving this place a second chance and feel two stars is quite generous. read more

We loved everything about Sunday! The vibe, the food, the staff were all top notch. All of our food was delicious as was the coffee and juice and our server was as attentive as she needed to be. We really enjoyed the inside of the restaurant (the outside is lovely, too) with all of the artwork and cool lighting. You can tell this is a very local spot. The food was tasty and they make their own sour dough bread that was chewy and fresh. The funny thing was that there is a 3.5% tip added for the chef when ordering certain dishes. When my mother asked the waitress what the asterisk was for, she said oh don't worry about that that just means it comes with potatoes. And then boom 3.5% was added to the bill for that item. I think that lack of truth on her part cost her part of her tip. But I'm not certain how much tip she left. I just know my mom was not happy. We sat outside to eat and it was very lovely under the big magnolia tree. read more

We came here for our wedding anniversary weekend. The service was great. We ordered but the food did not arrive for 30 minutes. I did request egg whites but the waitress said they could not make those. The rest of the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the sourdough toast. They toast it and bring it with some butter. It was very delicious. We would come here again but maybe a little earlier so we're not so hungry waiting because of the business of guests. read more

The food was soo good! All of the flavors in the eggs Benedict were delicious- the only downside was that I asked for the eggs to be a little less runny when poached and I ended up with hard boiled eggs- but the entire dish still tasted amazing- the pulled pork was out of this world. The BEC sandwich was very yummy and the skillet potatoes too! The winner is the sourdough bread, in-house butter and in-house strawberry preserve. read more

A staple in my dining out rotation because it feels like home. The food is savory and delicious and consistent! It's located in the heart of uptown a walk away from downtown so if you're looking for a breakfast or lunch spot, stop in. I'm working on getting through the whole menu, but the mushroom toast is unreal! I stopped mid eat to write a review because it's that good. This place alone is worth driving to St Aug for!!! The staff is super friendly and their sourdough is out of this world! We got the eggs benedict and bacon egg and cheese sandwich and both were devoured in minutes! The space is absolutely gorgeous (you can't go wrong when you share a space with Jenna Alexander Studio), the taste is amazing, and overall feel is a 10/10. My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way into town our first day of vacation. The environment is amazing! Disappointed by my experience today. I ordered a salad with shrimp on it and was told that they were out of shrimp. I then asked if I could still get the salad without the shrimp and if they would just adjust the price and was told yes. When I went to pay, they charged me full price and refused to adjust the price, even though no shrimp was served on my salad. They told me that they "added extra bacon and avocado so the price evens out" even though I didn't ask for or want extra bacon or avocado. I didn't ask for them to add extras, was not told extras were being added, and am disappointed that I was told they would adjust the price and then when it came time to pay, they refused. Just wish the would have been honest from the beginning if it wasn't possible to adjust the price without shrimp. read more

The snapper was some of the best snapper I've ever had. It just melted in your mouth. The dish was slightly spicy but the tenderness of the snapper made up for it. (I'm not a fan of spicy food). I asked for it with just vegetables and it unfortunately came with the rice and no vegetables. Bummer. Had to ask twice for the side of vegetables, that was really the only downside of the meal. Oh and the fact that their coffee machine was broken. Major bummer. No fun coffee drinks for us today. We ordered dessert. And in my opinion the key lime pie was my favorite. But it's also my favorite dessert and it's hard to mess up a key lime pie. The flan was good also and the they had a special churros dessert with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. I love a good key lime pie though and it was a fresh and creamy. Overall a good meal and experience. I would like to come back on another day when they aren't so busy.

Unfortunately, I'd love to be able to rave about the food, but shortly after we finished eating, I became sick and dealt with an upset stomach for the rest of the night. My fiancé also didn't feel well afterward, although her symptoms were much milder. This was the first and only meal we'd eaten since earlier that afternoon, so we suspect it may have been related to something we ate, though we can't say that with absolute certainty. That said, one bad experience doesn't define a restaurant. The service and atmosphere were both excellent, and it's clear from the many positive reviews that plenty of people have had great meals here. Arriving with just one other person, we hoped to enjoy the outdoor seating in the shade, but unfortunately, those spots were being reserved for a larger party. However, I appreciated the gesture of providing blankets for the concrete benches outside. We decided to share the patty melt and the bahn mi. The iced coffee was delightful, and the patty melt exceeded expectations with its rich and juicy patty, flavorful pickles, and satisfying crunch. Although the patty melt was quite filling, the bahn mi left me slightly disappointed. Opting for the shrimp version due to my dining companion's dietary preferences, we found the shrimp to be lacking seasoning. The pork bahn mi, however, looked tantalizingly flavorful, and I'd love to try it without the shrimp substitution. The employees exuded great style, and the retro artwork adorning the walls added to the establishment's character. The cinnamon roll had a nice flavor but we don't think it was proofed long enough as it had more of a tougher/ chewy texture. The sourdough bread apart of the B.E.C lacked the funky sourdough flavor. All of the staff was so kind about the longer waits as the service was a bit slow. We didn't mind because we came on a Saturday so we know how busy it can be.
