They saw me ahead of time and took no time in doing the state inspection. They explained what needed to be done etc, that it would take up to 45 minutes. They were done in less time than that and for whatever reason gave me a discount. Four wheel drive should be $99, but they charged me $69. Receptionist was friendly and chatty. I asked if it was a family business due to the level of service. She replied that it's two families that feel like one big family. It certainly feels like that, and they seem to endeavor to treat customers like family. That's going to make me a regular here. Well a regular when it suits me. Being social-savvy, I surveyed Yelp reviews and picked Churchill Auto based on the reviews, distance, and Saturday hours. I had my car towed to Churchill that night by an independent towing co. (Ugh! $100 for 0.15 miles!) not related to Churchill. Laurel, Churchill's office manager/service coordinator, was a good communicator and pleasure to deal with. I was glad that they could fix my car quickly on Saturday. Extra points for customer service, quick turnaround, and free 12 month roadside assistance. The only downside is the part seemed expensive -marked up a higher than I was expecting. I was charged $250 for a part that cost $145 (72% markup) when the industry average is 35% markup. Aside from that, it was a good experience for this out-of-towner.
