A body shop mechanic met me, went over everything he would do, and soon the Geico rep joined us, making sure I had every question answered. The body shop mechanic went around my car and noted every possible scratch and tiny dent. He was far more thorough than a car rental company! The car was ready when they promised, and it looks fantastic. I had an emailed estimate within a couple of hours, and the shop texted and emailed me during the process and when my car was ready. I had two estimates from other body shops in Frederick, and both were hundreds of dollars higher than Zamora. Perhaps that was because I asked for a self-paying estimate.

Picked up the car today and the paint had some specs in it, and they said they would wet sand it to get the specs out while I waited. It didn't work. Eric Zamora offered me $50 or $100 discount so he wouldn't have to paint the whole door again. He said the paint had a "Lifetime" guarantee. I said that's fine, I would pay the full amount. Drove the car home and then noticed that the passenger side side view mirror was melted. Literally the paint and plastic was melted.....!!!! So I called them and drove all the way back to the shop and Eric was already gone for the day, but his worker said that they looked at a picture from the front of the car and said they could see a shadow showing that the sideview mirror looked "wavey" Bull crap!!! He said they took the mirror and the door off the front passenger side to do work on the rear passenger side, and that they only put the sideview mirror in the car and that it couldn't have gotten damaged.... I said there is NO WAY that my sideview mirror could get MELTED on the top of it while it was on my car. The plastic and paint are literally melted!!! Car is in great condition except the door that had to be repaired. Now they are saying that the MELTED sideview mirror must have already been like that. No pictures of the sideview mirror damage prior to doing the work. They melted the sideview mirror at the shop. Don't know how or who, but it wasn't melted when I dropped it off....... Every place I have ever been too takes detailed pictures of a car to make sure that this exact thing doesn't happen!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE. Dishonest. Go somewhere else.....

Amazing that the lot is completely full on Monday morning and just about cleared out by Thursday. And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

(Ugh! $100 for 0.15 miles!) not related to Churchill. Laurel, Churchill's office manager/service coordinator, was a good communicator and pleasure to deal with. I was glad that they could fix my car quickly on Saturday. Extra points for customer service, quick turnaround, and free 12 month roadside assistance. The only downside is the part seemed expensive -marked up a higher than I was expecting. I was charged $250 for a part that cost $145 (72% markup) when the industry average is 35% markup. Aside from that, it was a good experience for this out-of-towner.

I mean, what guy wouldn't want one of the Hellcats or Corvettes they have sitting out front? Perhaps one day... I did, however, buy a new Ford F-150 from them. Price wise, I don't think they're the cheapest place to buy a car, but I think you have to look at everything these days when buying a vehicle. Plus, with resources like True Car, it's pretty easy to see if you're getting hosed or not. I negotiated with them and they came down to right around where I wanted to be for total cost out of the door. What really sold me on Krietz was their family culture at their office. A lot of their employees have been there a long time and that says something about the business and the leadership. I also really liked that it was a full-service spot too that does custom work and routine maintenance. The service department has been honest and communicative about options, etc. For example, my check engine light came on a month ago and I took it in. They diagnosed the issue as a problem with the injectors and they knew it was something that would be covered under warranty, so they let me know they were taking care of it. Lastly, their customer waiting area is very comfortable and they're just a few min walk from Frederick Coffee Co, Glory Doughnuts, Pistarro's, or Family Meal. If you're in the market for a new car, truck, some custom work, or just looking for an oil change/brake job shop, I would definitely recommend Krietz.

Service was excellent. The job took a few days and since I was out of town (nearly 2 hr drive each way), they provided a loaner vehicle at no cost. The price was competitive, and there is a warrantee and 500 mile follow-up service visit also. I will be a repeat customer and I hope they have as much business as they want. Honesty and quality work is so refreshing (I've had the opposite experience and it's not fun!)
