Do your research because I did not. I got my husband's car windows tinted as a gift for Christmas…read more I requested the darkest legal tint all the way around. Everything looked good when I picked it up. I later noticed that the tint was not as dark as other cars. I quess they put on the darkest THEY had and the darkest legal. I didn't know. I have never purchased tint before. The second issue was that I requested tint all the way around. Well, at night, the tint on the rear window that has defrost strips has horrible reflections at night. A terrible glare at night when you look into the rear view mirror almost starburstish around the headlights behind! This was not explained to me that this was a possibly. I would have passed on the rear. They want to charge my 150$ to remove the rear tint. Do your research. I don't feel like they were honest.

However - my car, a Corolla driven infrequently and garage kept was not a difficult job. I just wanted a good exterior cleaning and wax and a thorough interior cleaning and with special attention to the upholstery shampoo - which I mentioned on the phone. The job I got was one rung up from the local carwash. No attempt was made to buff out any surface imperfections and the interior is such a disappointment to see every time I get in the car. I could have done a better job with warm water and a shop-vac. The car just wasn't that dirty, so they could have spent a little effort on the few spots on the very durable fabric seats. I think they just didn't bother because it's a little economy car and they had already been paid months ago, so it wasn't important to them. The evening I picked it up, the staff were oohing over an expensive sports car in the lot - I just think they have more interest in flashy cars than in customer service for the average Jane. It's been several weeks since the service, but it still bothers me every time I see the spots on the upholstery.

Do NOT bring your car here. We dropped off our Range Rover Discovery a week ago and the door was…read moredamaged, with no other damage. Picked up the car today and the paint had some specs in it, and they said they would wet sand it to get the specs out while I waited. It didn't work. Eric Zamora offered me $50 or $100 discount so he wouldn't have to paint the whole door again. He said the paint had a "Lifetime" guarantee. I said that's fine, I would pay the full amount. Drove the car home and then noticed that the passenger side side view mirror was melted. Literally the paint and plastic was melted.....!!!! So I called them and drove all the way back to the shop and Eric was already gone for the day, but his worker said that they looked at a picture from the front of the car and said they could see a shadow showing that the sideview mirror looked "wavey" Bull crap!!! He said they took the mirror and the door off the front passenger side to do work on the rear passenger side, and that they only put the sideview mirror in the car and that it couldn't have gotten damaged.... I said there is NO WAY that my sideview mirror could get MELTED on the top of it while it was on my car. The plastic and paint are literally melted!!! Car is in great condition except the door that had to be repaired. Now they are saying that the MELTED sideview mirror must have already been like that. No pictures of the sideview mirror damage prior to doing the work. They melted the sideview mirror at the shop. Don't know how or who, but it wasn't melted when I dropped it off....... Every place I have ever been too takes detailed pictures of a car to make sure that this exact thing doesn't happen!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE. Dishonest. Go somewhere else.....

I'd avoid this place like the plague if I were you. I'm from MA and was in Frederick on business…read morefor a few months (I was hit about 2 weeks prior to heading down to MD) so I decided to wait to have my repairs in Frederick. I did a little bit of research on Google and the business seemed legit. Kevin, the owner, responded to my request and I was able to get my car in for a right front panel repair and also a bumper repair. Unfortunately, I was rear ended a month prior to this accident so my repairs were similar other than the front drivers side panel. That repair took 4 days. Anyway, I dropped my car off here on a Monday and was told it would most likely be repaired on Friday unless other issues were found. Of course, I was told they had to replace the entire rear bumper. Rather than bore you with all the details, I'll just make it brief. My car was in the shop for 18 days for this repair. Communication while it was in the shop was non-existent for the most part. Tons of excuses! When I picked it up the car was overheating and pouring out coolant like crazy. I had to have it towed back to the shop as its apparent something happened here. They paid for the cost to have it repaired which was an air bubble in the coolant system supposedly. After I picked it up again it still needed a cohesive put on the front drivers panel and an alignment, which was covered by insurance. It took 3 weeks for them to get back to me to bring it back in yet again. Typically, this would be a same day job. With Frederick, I knew I wouldn't be getting my car back the same day. Needless to say, this is the worst experience I've ever had with an automotive business in my entire life. I had to constantly stop by the shop to check on the status of my car, communication was absolute shit, and the turnaround time was an absolute joke. On top of that, now I'm having issues with my spoiler. I can't prove this is because of Frederick Auto Body, but the timing seems odd. Anyway, I'll get that looked at by a mechanic when I return to MA. I've seen some 1 star Google reviews where Kevin denies working on these cars. I had a similar issue with a used car salesman back in the day where I bought a Maserati and it was basically a lemon. Like consumers are confused where they made a major purchase? Really?!
